  • very nice

but noshe jaan is dari not pashto.

in pashto we say kha eshtya i gues you could say noshe jaan as well.

overaal good job and hijab and clothes.

    stay Afghan.

  • khala yak jarfe qashang nadashti!

  • I am hungry!

  • Are there passages such as this you??? I mean on YouTube ..?? Thanks......

  • I am proud ....

  • ok first u dont fry the carrots and raisens in oil, u steam cook it and then u put it nest to rice not in a bag.....also the whole point of palou is that u cook rice and meat together ....oh dear

  • Smh I just went thru some of the comments and Walahi many of you guys seriously need to chill, instead Of appreciating what this sister of ours has showed us, u guys are here "trying" to correct her like Shut up! Please. Yeah nosh a jan is not only Pashto, it's also Dari but who cares! Like I understand, point is your trying to correct her but that wasn't the reason why she actually made this video. The whole point of this video is to learn something. Please brothers and sisters in Islam, let's

  • jaaaanm tashakoor az info can u make vid about kerm roll

  • @Mojon2020Mn its cream roll

  • U look beautiful but that is not right way to cook sorry

  • @warylailo SHUT THE FUCK UP BITCH

  • @DirtyMoneyDr wow nice language....just cos u fancy her it dont mean she can cook.

  • @warylailo haha just cuz you can't cook doesn't mean you go on youtube and tell other people that they cant cook. tell me one thing she did wrong and if you have nothing better to do on youtube go and watch tom and jerry hahaha

  • @DirtyMoneyDr errr i made comment of what she did wrong, but i gues ur too stupid to read. i tell u not one but all things wrong ok: 1. she fried carrots and raisens which you must only steam. 2.then u dont but carrots in bag, you but it nest to rice.3 u cook the meat (dam) in the rice. anyway youtube is here for ppl to comment, if u dont like, dont read. got it dirty boy

  • @warylailo hahaha im sooo sorry bitch that not everyone makes it the way you do it.

  • @DirtyMoneyDr if ur afghan then shame on u for keep saying bitch bitch. obviously ur mother did not teach u any manners or maybe u have no mother which will explain ur problem. get a life

  • i like it , afghan from Norway :P

  • janem awal qabeli ra yad beger baz tashrehat beten ,kosht wa keshmesh wa zardak yak ja dam dada mesha,,loooooool

  • very nice thank you.

  • ...noshe jaan is in farsi...........

  • @MuEbMa agree dari farsi

  • all of you commenting...yall need to chill the f out! about oh lalala its in dari oh lalala its not pashto...uneducated fools..alot of pashto and dari words are similar! pashto originates from arabic it was spoken DURING THE SAME TIME as DARI (original farsi) in modern day Afghanistan. For her to say noshe jan there is nothing wrong with it- it is a pashto phrase that pashto speaking people use. all these racist dari speakers need to shut it!

  • @zabuli

dont be rude this food az ppl of farsi zaban any ways that was called qabili :P

  • very nice!

  • great video! I like the way you explain and you cook well!

  • Comment removed

  • who saw nosh i jan i in pashtoo grow up girl NOSH I JAN is in dari lol no offense to pashtoo langugae but just wanted to correctify her

  • @merecal

yes in pashtu we say "kha ischti ya deta guru"

at least that whats khost peopel always say.

  • @igdrasil21 yes but i dont know when people dont have correct information about something why they miss guide others NOSH I JAN is purely Dari and Persian not pashtoo but i must say no offense against her

  • ah just found out that this is not Hatifa's channel, does she have one?? I'd really like to visit it!

  • that was a great video!!! I was really happy to find out when you know the rice is cooked (it breaks into beads?) next time you do that step again, could you provide a closeup??

Also how can I steam the raisins and carrots without putting them in aluminum foil??

Thanks! great video.. I hope you have more!

  • My mother adds water to the sugar oil pan and then trows it in the rice pan...

  • @igdrasil21 yeah my mom does that too but i think she might have not done it cuz it will splash everywhere cuz adding water to hot oil and sugar is scary. I remember wen i first did it i was scared hahahahah

  • @afgdukhtar92 haha yes I know, meybe that was the reason, first time when I saw it how my mum it did it looked to me like she where making some kind of a chemistry experiment than food LOL

  • @igdrasil21 hahahahahaah it does seem that way :)

  • do the rice taste sweet? what was in the water you added later on in the rice bcuz it had some coloring in it?

  • @sairish631 No the rice doesnt tast sweet it has a nice flavor it it. Also it was just regular water i think that she used the same bowl as the seasoning and that is why it had color to it. Usually you would add the water to the oil and sugar after its done. Hope this helps :)

  • @GingerNuts99 I think you think this is ur sisterr?? nahh ur mistaken;)

  • oops i pressed flagged as innapropiate by accident sorry i was tryin to press comment:O

  • u look arabic lol but good job i gotta learn kabuli noww!!:)

  • OMG you are very pretty mahshalla, love how u wear your hijab, and your video

  • @jenahailey2

    and a fysha as well

  • is this supposed to be a sweet dish? or a savoury?

  • I really enjoyed your video, but that’s not how you cook Qabli palo. Instated of coloring the rice with sugar, I would suggest that you fry the onions and sauté the meat with onions and garlic. And one more thing put one or two tea spoon of sugar in to carrots and raisin. Try it and you will see the difference.

  • heheheehehehe i love u my baby with kabul pulo look like u live in virginia

  • this is nice I love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I must say, didn't seem so appetizing from the description but the final dish looked very appealing.

  • i love kabili cooking and eating,

  • Thank so much please upload more video's of rice .Thx

  • Wow..i really want a wife like you..who can cook and look same like you..you are perfect !!

greetings from a pakistani who is living in Canada for a long long time :(

  • @731mithu you have no chance afghans and pakis dont marry eachother.

  • @johnwayfeild i am just expressing my desire to have a wife like her..more in terms her wear and her way of talking..kind of religious looking and modern in communicating..and that desire is not particularly for any afghan or for any specific..that is for every women who have both of these two qualities simultaneously. so she is an example :)

  • i like qabuli palao thank you sister

  • can someone make that for me plz

  • kheyli mamnoon :)

  • 2morrow is my birthday, and tonight I decided to invite my wife and kids to afghan restaurant so I was curius about the food...I decided to do some search in youtube and here you are masha Allah with this dish...thank u..you are so beautiful with your national dress ...

  • والله من خو قابلی پلو را یاد نگرفتم..چی کنم؟

  • doesent all that sugar make the rice sweet>?

  • yu guys are so stupid who the hell cares about the language just watch the freakin video man same bs eeverywher

  • @JayZeeWorld it all started when she said " nosh e jan, which in Pashtoo means Bon Appétit" Then someone correctly commented that its Dari.

  • @androidexpert1 yu say noshe jan in dari too whats your point?

  • @JayZeeWorld what? noshe jan is a Dari expression, she said its Pashtoo, its not

  • @androidexpert1 ohh i thot yu said noshe jan is in pashto i was like what we say it in darii loll

  • I love it

  • Wow ! Tashakur sister jaan, it looked delicious !

OMG ur dress was very beautiful ! and Mashallah ur veryyyyyyyy pretty ! :)

i will deff try this and hopefully i do it right lol.

    Thanks again sis.

  • Your kitchen is so pretty

  • I think she used this (Persian/ Dari Phrase) on purpose.

and she tried some how to hijack it and add it to her own language which doesn't exist in her language. LOL

  • @watandar777 lol who cares we all know its Dari, and many many words in Pashtoo are taken from Dari.

  • @yamaasmaye : Exactly Pashtu taken words from Dari and Dari from Pashtu. No need to fight over!

  • @88Pashtun what? it was not a fight, but Farsi has not taken any words from Pashtoo. Pashtoo Urdu Punjabi Gujarati have borrowed words from Dari. tell me a word that Tajik people use which is taken from pashtoo? there is none

  • I went to an Afghan restaurant a few years ago and fell in love with the cuisine. I've been going ever since. I love all the wonderful flavors. Thank you for posting.

  • She Wrongly said (NOSH-E-JAN) is Pashto.

Actually its a Persian Word, which means Bon Apetit or in English it means good Apetit.

The way she cooked this Palaw is not the original way of cooking too.

  • @AwaraAzwatan well i think you should let her off, 60% of Pashtoo, Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati is made up of borrowings from Dari.

  • @yamaasmaye LOL 60%? wanna prove that claim?

  • @SwatYousafzai it was from a linguistics book, it might come as a shock to you but its true.

  • @yamaasmaye Im gonna need to see it before i believe it, anyway i/you can get hold of this book?

  • @SwatYousafzai let me give me an example in Hindi, ESQH = DARI = MOSHKEL = DARI

ASOMAN = DARI JADO = DARI KHOSHBO = DARI = NAZAR = DARI. just some of the words i can think off right now. I think the book is called introduction to linguistics

  • @yamaasmaye I'll have a look for it :)

  • @AwaraAzwatan or she could have said بفرماييد (bon appetit)

  • this isn't kabli pulao but dampukht. coz if it is, then we Peshawri folks cook Kabli differently.

  • @privatezib i think its is qabeli palaw as we afghans say, she just cooked it differently, which i think is normal as every family will have their own way of cooking it. Dampokht which is two Afghan ( Dari) words dam = steam, pokht= cook or cooked, so it just means steam cooked. However this isn't dampokht although technically you could call it dampokht. Afghan dampokht is simple rice, with a white colour. You serve it with potatoes, spinach or anything else.

  • wawa nice Qabli Palow..

  • Inra dokhtar afghan mega ba in tarz gap zadan wa ba in ejab afreen ba o mother ka ba to sheer dada welldone

  • This looks absolutely delicious! I'm definitely going to try this out but without meat as I'm not a huge meat fan. I hope it doesn't change the taste too much. Thanks!

  • this looks lovely, thankyou, i use a different technique when i cook kabli , but i am looking forward to trying your technique.

  • my dear what you cooked is not qabuli pulao, it is dampukht with carrots and raisin,

    but thanks anyway.

  • Very nice but you use too much sugar sister.

  • thank u dear.

  • ashpazi tan khob bod ama bora ra besyar sotanded va in ba sehat besyar mozer va saratan za hast , tashakor

  • Great cook wonderful you make me hungry . And also I can say you are so pretty girl.

  • dera manana, em gonna cook it next week

  • wow wonderful dish

  • Deeer kha! Zama d afghani wreegee dera khwakheege.

  • Salam Mashallah dear shaista Qabali palau mo tayar kar , magar zanta mo noshijan kar hahahahahahahahaha just joke Manana la shaista aw pa zara pore upload sakha mo:)

  • THE DISH LOOKS NICE BUT I DON'T THINK THAT IS AUTHENTIC KABULI PILAU ITS MORE LIKE KABULI BIRYANI BECAUSE TO BE A PILAU YOU HAVE TO COOK IT IN THE MEAT BROTH, OR DID I JUST MISS THAT?

WHERE DOES THE MEAT TASTE COME INTO THE RICE IF YOU HAVE COOKED THE RICE SEPARATELY?

DID YOU ADD THE BURNT SUGAR SAUCE JUST FOR THE COLOURING?

I'L CHECK OUT "COOKINGAMMI" 'S VERSION ON YOUTUBE THAT SEEMS OR CORRECT.

    THANKS ANYWAY,

  • I like
