  • crack me up at 3:48 he tunes his gitbox, after telling the bass to take it down and vamping the vocal. Yer right he is not done ...but even if he was, he left some fine stuff. but then again he ain't done yet!

  • that is one sweet guitar

  • he wrote this for jerry

  • one of the best songs

  • Greatest song brings a tear of gold to my eye u will b missed Ryan

  • Oh he's not done. No way.

  • U will be missed? He's not dead.

  • oh yes this is a real tune!all crapbent top forty listeners should check this out because this is a genius who writes his own tunes and plays his heart out live!

  • this has got to be the best guitar heard in years-since neil young's Cowgirl In The Sand.I heard that neil inspired this guitar solo.

  • Saw him do this live in Washington DC in 2007. I couldn't believe the tone he was getting out of his guitar on this tune. It was pretty incredible.

  • If you like this ,go to "Ryan Adams & The Cardinals-Why DoThey Leave (Live in Melbourne)"

The guitar on it is even better. Great to get your feedback.

  • the barney kessel sounds BEAUTIFUL. just a totally huge fat amazing tone...

  • RYan is the writer .

The sheet music has the Cardnials names listed also

  • good tune

  • i really dig this tune. did Robert Hunter write it?

  • No, RYan wrote the lyrics...but there's some serious Hunter/Dead references all over "Cold Roses". Not that I'm complaining...(truth be told, I'm a bigger fan of Hunter than the Dead themselves!)

  • the most beautiful guitar in the world!

  • amazingly beautiful tune. we just learned it last night
