No, RYan wrote the lyrics...but there's some serious Hunter/Dead references all over "Cold Roses". Not that I'm complaining...(truth be told, I'm a bigger fan of Hunter than the Dead themselves!)

Saw him do this live in Washington DC in 2007. I couldn't believe the tone he was getting out of his guitar on this tune. It was pretty incredible.
