Since no one has i must comment. I'll admit that the quality of the video does not do this poem justive. it is beautiful and amazingly preformed. Subject matter is raw and honest and o sooooo true. Little girls are constantly held to this standard of beauty that is impossible to obtain....keep ur legs open and ur mouth shut. But if u do that u'll never earn respect....fuck hypocracy and double standards! I wanna b sexy like a mother who loves her children.
this poem is absolutely life changing for me. I love those moments where I hear something, that makes me sit closer to the screen.
