@AldirTWCspammer Was walking home from work one day, listening to this on my Walkman. It got to that part in the song and buzzed RIGHT in my ear. I flipped the fuck out, swatting at my ear, thinking I had a bee on the headphones or something. Took a while to steady my pulse after that one.

@SakuKiller Look, you're the one categorizing them because of race. J-Rock has a distinct sound to it, like GazzettE or Screw or Girugamesh. (And I say Screw loosely) Just because they sing it in Japanese and are Japanese, does not mean this is "J-Rock" Per se. Hell, they consider themselves more in International band than anything else.

You're talking about electric violins. Acoustic violins cannot be distorted because they're acoustic! Electric violins are like the electric guitars: you can use distortion, wah-wah pedals, chorus effect, etc... The violin here sounds deeper and richer probably because it's a very professional, high-quality violin, with very good strings, like silver or gut strings.
