Tristan and Jason are both wonderful people... who fell in and out of love. There doesnt always have to be bitterness and hatred when something like that happens. Not form them, and especially not from anyone else. We dont have the right to hold anything against any of them... cause they aren't either. I was the guy who yelled, "Fuck Jason!" I have no issues with having done it. I was in the moment and anyone who was there will tell you that it was a very, very emotional show. The Iota Cafe is a very small venue and you could see and feel the pain in Tristan as she cried while trying to sing to us. I don't regret yelling it and I'd do it again. Jason is a big boy, I'm sure he's heard worse.

I wont give up led me to this video and Im now thankfull to learn the dark haired girl who took jason to have a pedicure south of my home in Murrieta.... Is way more of a perfect match for him thank even he knows!!!! Wow
It was an incredibly intimate show. Tristan spoke about Jason a lot, the break up & how her friends were not unhappy about the break up. She said, "why didn't anyone tell me?" She preceded this song with Say Anything, and said, "and then came this." She had to break during the song; it was such a sad moment; heartbreaking. The guy who yelled "fuck Jason" broke the tension & made Tristan laugh. She followed this with a raucous Quit You. Everyone was cheering her on. Great moment!
I really didn't like the whole "fuck Jason" thing, especially hearing the crowd laugh and cheer for something like that. It kind of degrades this beautiful song and so disrespectful to him. No one knows what happened, but people are making him out to be the bad guy. Back off and respect their privacy.
@SunshineSasha23 You degrade Tristan by suggesting the crowd was cheering for that guy. Maybe people laughed because he said out loud what many were thinking. The f*ck Jason was just a shout out to Tristan to say ... I support you. I believe Jason can handle it.
@TheWinter9693 I would never degrade Tristan. So much respect,admiration,&love for her. The truth is,the crowd was,in fact,cheering for"that guy"and his comment. While it may be the case that ppl laughed because it's what they were thinking,"fuck Jason"isn't something you say out loud. That sort of comment should stay a thought. If"that guy"&the rest of the crowd wanted to give a"shout out to Tristan,"there are other ways--not by degrading Jason. While Jason can handle ANYTHING,it must sting.
I was as Iota as well. This song was intense. You can't see it on this video but half way through she was silently crying and if it wasn't for the guy screaming at the end to break the atmosphere I would've cried too.
I didn't mind the ending. It was just a show of support, and it seems like it helped.
