  • This is true Zimbabwean music. At its best. Thanks for posting this video

  • Simply brilliant! After studying Shona mbira music and learning to play mbira dzavadzimu and hosho in college, I can tell you that these musicians make what they are doing look very easy. Don't be fooled...it's very difficult, and they should be commended for their skill and effort in sharing such a joyous community practice. Thank you!

  • @dtcorso .. So it appears that some players are playing bass lines and treble lines

at the same time.. true? and I would suspect that the gourd has a lot to do w/ the nice Bass response these instruments have., no?

  • i feel so proud 2 b zimbabwean.....I'm 1 of thoz hip-hop, r'n'b types......but my culture kols 2 me lyk a silent voice in a gentle breeze......origional zim music @ its epitom.......I salute u guys......keep up tha gud work.........

  • lol something strange here,

  • It's about originality in this creative display of teamwork that still manages to catch my attention. It sends more than a writable message to those who understand its meaning. I'm however not convinced the graphic support to the sounds is doing justice especially to an audience that always think of poverty and Africa live together.

  • these guys are very cultural arent they ...the dances are traditional, the songs ...I like the par tthat saya humming is an opportunity to put your own words so this is a now song...whatever you are about now is wat it is talking about....but its sounds like a sad song....and its like they are sayi "WHY WHY WHY"

  • Inga zvakaoma! Vanoziva ma shaver here vanhu ava?

  • ekudi nawo ma shaver????

  • why why why why why mugabbbbbbbbbbbe kuita so

  • thank u for tis lively piece of music. Have u got any music by Taruona

  • why mbira coz its the best zim music zimba has ever seen even ,pabonde,pa shift and can cool you down when u r low

  • If more African Americans were exposed to this type of music, I theorize that it would certainly make a change for the better, culturally, politically and economically.

  • A! Maaiitabasa! Awesome!
