A pastor broke the law, LIED about his intentions to people who asked, and did not pay the damages on his vandalism. How is this an example of godly behavior? There are other ways to get the point across, but this stunt IMO seems more like a showboater earning bragging rights (at other peoples' expense, by the way) than an impassioned plea for human rights. I'm somewhat shocked that so many people overlooked the things he had to compromise to accomplish what he did. A Christian, indeed.

Imagine how 1.3 billion Chinese people cope with the fact that this stunt is the work a Christian pastor. Note if people are truly oppressed, they probably never get a chance to know what you did. That is a case of standing up in the risk of danger, just like the civil rights movement, when Rosa Parks did her doing, she was out of a sudden famous, but she did not do it for "fame" she did it for freedom.
