wat a fucking dumbass thinking he knows shit about China. My dad was AT tian an men square as a student protester. this guys just a white selfrighteous poser
@stunashv he is not white. And he knows about China, in fact he worked with Chinese to do his stunt. I met a admirable person who suffered torture for many years the chinese oppressors made her walk until her feet bled, did russian roulete on her. She broke the law for freedom too, and she is chinese, she is not a poser, without peaceful drastic measures you will not be heard this has to be done. What are you doing to help your race? criticize?
@anuvamp yeah pretty sure hes a camwhore white guy trying to be a selfriteous hero. stfu about things you dont know. living in the shitty craphole of spain with its debts and shit economy, you have no right to criticize china. if china is so bad than how come spain sucks and china's owning
@stunashv first of all he is latino, secondly please learn how to spell and then criticize individuals. And I actually know, I have visited China lived in China for a short period of time and met admirable people who fought and are still fighting for their country. I don't know why you brought my nationality up, and the economy, this is a human rights issue, not a economical debt debate. I'm not saying China is bad economically, i'm saying they have a human rights and social justice issue.
@anuvamp lol stfu. i'm FROM beijing and my dad was a tiananmen protester. every former tiananmen protester we're still in contact with now supports the communist government. the only people who are against it are stupid white retards like this guy who wanna break up china because their scared shitless about chinas success. and yo udont know anything about are culture so stfu and deal with your own countries problems. this is like sudan criticizing germany.
@stunashv not white guys only the chinese person from Chinaaid protested, well not really she was actually just being christian, she got tortured because she is Christian. Being communist is the the issue, didn't you read? I have nothing against communist countries, it is just the tortured of innocent people who choose to be from a different religion. oh that that tiananmen protester well that is him but not all chinese agrees or they wouldn't be any chinese resistance.
Pastor Eddie, this old friend of yours. I was wondering what happened to the speech you were going to give at the Olympics, and I've always thought that speeches were with lips and not with paint brushes. I sat in your church and heard talk about this about this China trip and if I recall, I thought you were going to address people at the Olympic games with a speech. I never knew the Olympic games were held in a hotel room with red paint. I can't figure you out and I already stopped trying.
I used look up to you and respect you, now it's kind of hard for me to look up to you as a hero when you didn't do what you said you were going to do. I pray for you everyday even though I don't agree with your actions, when it was something totally different that when you had set out to do in 2004.
Those called this vandalism "Heroic act" should also "Praise" (An Iraqi Muslim Leader paints "STOP KILLING IRAQI CHILDREN IN IRAQ ! YOU AMERICAN SOLDIERS) HEROIC !!!
Well, this vandalism just demostrated and justified to the Chinese public why it is correct for their government hesistation in total religions freedom.
This so-called paster is absolutely out of his mind, his act has triggered furious response in China. And worst of all, it makes Chinese people more supportive to their government's view that foreign countries always uses religions as a tool to interfere other countries politics.
A pastor broke the law, LIED about his intentions to people who asked, and did not pay the damages on his vandalism. How is this an example of godly behavior? There are other ways to get the point across, but this stunt IMO seems more like a showboater earning bragging rights (at other peoples' expense, by the way) than an impassioned plea for human rights. I'm somewhat shocked that so many people overlooked the things he had to compromise to accomplish what he did. A Christian, indeed.
Totally agree. And by the way, did the scriptural teaching of being salts of the earth ever came to your mind at all? Read Acts 1:8. Imagine how 1.3 billion Chinese people cope with the fact that this stunt is the work a Christian pastor. Note if people are truly oppressed, they probably never get a chance to know what you did. Yet for those who do get on youtube and see this, they most probably get disgusted by what you did. So what's your motive anyway?
More to the point, you are really doing this for yourself right? You see, you are all of a sudden famous. Your innocent, kind-hearted congregation will no doubt admire you more. How political. How hypocritical. How disturbing when you actually said you were "blessed".

@bobbywitty08 he did not gained fame, that happened in 2008 and i didn't know about him until now. That is a case of standing up in the risk of danger, just like the civil rights movement, when Rosa Parks did her doing, she was out of a sudden famous, but she did not do it for "fame" she did it for freedom.
@bobbywitty08 he's not doing it to get famous, he's doing it to try and make a difference. whether it works or not is not the point. whats the point of freedom of speech when the people its used for don't use it?! how else can you express your words if not what Romero did? he's not doing it to get famous, he's doing it to try and make a difference. whether it works or not is not the point. whats the point of freedom of speech when the people its used for don't use it?!
@Meatwaggon i think it is admirable, if someone is not listening like china you must take drastic measure, he is a great person, i know him in person a great philosopher, he risked his freedom for freedom. a Chinese refugee who i met in person, suffered tortured the chinese oppressors made her walk until her feet were bleeding and then all she could see was a trail of her own blood, she survived she is christian and she broke the law of china for freedom just like professor Romero.
Thank God for Eddie's release - but remember, the mission continues. Raise your voice for the voiceless. Let the ccritics criticize - let the bloggers blog - continue to love the oppressed by speaking up to God in prayer - speaking up to governments by mail, email, phone, personal visits and speaking up to your friends to raise awareness. Build alliances. REMEMBER THOSE IN BONDS AS IF BOUND WITH THEM. The abuses continue. Pray and act. Grace & Peace

More evidence that Fox news is a video tabloid. To give credence to this vandal is absurd. He had to beg to be arrested!
