That's great thanks, I do alot of photoshop obviously on my images, mainly skin tones and lighting, I'm going to keep practicing and learning, my sister is also an artist so I'll get her to help me with pointing out parts I might have missed!

@broadwaylauraL Hi and thank you. I use Photoshop on a daily basis and this work comes through Photoshop experience and experimentation. A background in art helps with the fundamentals of composition and light and so on.

I looked at some of your other work and I just cannot get over how much amazing the final submissions look when you are done! While I've always avoided digital art like it was the Black Plague, you have completely inspired me to try this out. Approx. how long did this one take?

@reigngoddess Awesome, great to hear you are going to work at this. It has been a while since I have done this one, but these take a few hours to complete. It takes time to plan a composition, find photos, isolate, composite and add effects and so on. Let me know if you have other questions.

What tool did you use at 1:42 to cut the leaves out from the background?

@SnowberryElf I started off by trying a channel selection, but that does not do a good job, so I used the pen tool. Most everything is cut out with the pen tool because it gives the best results.

@nemury Thank you. I start with a general idea and rough sketch. Although the concept is sometimes altered depending on available stock photos, which can lead to new ideas.
