Im not a Star Trek fan but Star Trek (2009) was the best Star Trek show i ever watched. And Chris Pine is just an awesome newcomer in the film industry.

I like Chris because he is one of those very rare down to earth actors. The kind of guy who seems to do what he does because he loves it and is not out making a name for himself due any legal issues or any other trouble. Its kinda like in the old days when you would only hear about an actor when it came to the movie he was in, not who he is dating or what he is due in court for this week, just a simple old fashioned actor we can enjoy without being annoyed with.

Chris to me is the kind of guy you feel you could be best friends with and the fact he is an actor would be nothing more than having a typical job. He definately does not come off as the standard Brad Pitt or Matt Damon or any of these other Hollywood hotshots with their face on 15 magazine covers every other week. I hope he keeps his head on his shoulders and doesn't become another victim of today's Hollywood.

I like a movie he is in by the name of "Just my Luck". He was a cute guy in that film. Now you get to see him as this badass, hot, likeable guy. I was once worried about who they were going to have as the role, and now I'm way excited about it.

@cooburns and the irony of "Just My Luck" is the fact Chris was really an unknown back then and Lindsay Lohan was the A-list superstar, now here we are years later, Chris is now the A-lister with a major blockbuster on his resume and Lindsay Lohan is now a D-lister who just can't kick that nasty little habit of making those weekly visits to the Los Angeles county courthouse.
