  • That's a croc

  • Tax corporations so they do not get away with no taxation. The Citizens for Tax Justice put out a report recently with that 12 major corporations like Honeywell, Verizon, General Electric, and in three years, they made $167 billion in profit, paid zero in taxes, and got $2.5 billion back from the treasury. Solution to Debt Crisis is to End Corporate Welfare and Corporate Tax Loopholes -- youtube . com/watch?v=wbMifGKH -- DemocracyNow . org

  • Go to Yahoo or GOOGLE and search for, "Obama, The Taxing your car by the mile plan". So much for no new taxes. :-(

  • Notice how he had to look at his speech before saying "less than $250,000?" He was going to say "more than," because he is giving tax breaks to the wealthy, not the poor. It's obvious now after two years in the White House who he really works for. He works for Wall St. Anyone that thinks that he works for the citizens of this country is naive and gullible. He knows that he is losing the confidence of the people. Obama will be rejected, not re-elected come election time.

  • how can you tell when barry hussein soetoro is lying? He moves his lips

  • Big-eared lying turd.

  • obama's an idiot.

  • HA! Now what Obama?!

  • liar. capital gains tax just went from 0% to 10% on the lowest tax bracket for 2011.

  • im confused? whens the good change gonna come?

  • How about we give only taxes to things we need and people who are disabled, and the rest can get off their lazy fat ass's and go earn some fucking money

  • lying sack of ........ 2.9% Obamacare TAX!

  • Sure. Obama support tax hikes because no one in his cabinet pays theirs, especially the one that runs the Treasury.

  • Good to know this. I'm a business owner and was going to expand my business and produce about 20 extra jobs. Now, I won't because I got to stay under $250K. :)

  • @saefrog

    Why would you do that?

The amount you make up to $250k get's taxed the same if you make $250k or 20mil it doesn't matter only the money you make beyond $250k gets taxed more.

So even if they take half and you made $350k you would still end up with $300k instead of $250k.

  • @Tyjohnable

I'm currently in the 36% tax bracket. If Obama raises my taxes by 10% Then I I can make an additional $300K then I get taxed an addition $30K, which brings me back down to almost what I'm making and by increasing the growth of my business has expenses and since all my extra money goes towards tax why should I expand and make jobs? This is why taxing the wealthy job makers doesn't make sense people.

  • @saefrog

Are business expenses not tax deductible?

  • @Tyjohnable

The investment would be, but the profits a year later that I make by expanding it would be taxable income. In other words what is the incentive for me to try to make more jobs and make more money for myself if I know I'm going to get raped in taxes? This is why the USSR and other socialist/communist countries fail and have extreme poor and no job producers. Hopefully the liberals will wake up and realize this. I truly want to expand but will wait for a new president.

  • @saefrog

Once again like I said making $350K and paying an extra $46K over making $250K still has you making an extra $54K that's after taxes so I still don't see your point.

Is it making more money is wrong if I get taxed more?

If that's true you could just work at McDonald's and pay no tax cause you fall under the poverty line.

  • So I dont make 250K per year why are my taxes going to go up next year.. was obama lying or dumb when he said this?

  • @shumirules1 He doesn't have to do what he says, did you think he was actually telling the truth?

  • @avaiae Well know I understand he was lying from day one, only idiots didnt get that.

  • @shumirules1

That's because taxes had to go up military spending has been way out of hand for years and America is broke.

This is how Obama wanted to raise taxes just for the rich but the Republicans said it's all or nothing so he had no choice but to let all Bush tax cuts expire.

He could have not raised taxes at all like Fox "news" says he should do but America is way to far in debt and would soon hit the point of no return when you can't even make the interest payments.

  • @Tyjohnable So I assume his 800 billion stimulus package didnt hurt the debt?

And don't forget how much ObamaCare is going to cost you over the next 20, 30, 40 years.

If you are under 15 now one day you will be able to hear story's about how health care was not always this bad but then one day Obama, Reid and Nurse Nancy fixed it all.

  • @shumirules1

    His 800 billion stimulus package?

You mean the one from November 25th 2008?

Funny I thought he became president on Jan 20th 2009?

Maybe he time traveled and fucked up the economy from 2000-8?

Or maybe just maybe a war hungry hillbilly retard ran your country for 8 years lowered taxes while increasing military spending but left the table when the check came?

Have u herd of the cost plus system?

Halaburton got paid on a percent of there cost so they torched trucks with blown tires

  • @Tyjohnable No I mean the Stimulus you my friend are thinking of TARP.....

The Stimulus was passed Under Obama and with it he promised us all it would keep unemployment under 8%. How did that work out?

  • @shumirules1 gee, are you expecting for the economy to be fixed overnight?, because it won't. and Obama himself said it won't.

and Obama himself said on election night that his being voted president is not "ooo the change America wants to jump back the economy to where it's supposed to be". it's merely the CHANCE to MAKE that change POSSIBLE.

but change can't happen if Republicans and other naysayers keep watering down every bill and every anything that would be beneficial to the American ..

  • @JediMasterLego

Thank you I just stopped looking at my e-mails because I was exasperated and was pleased when I finally decided to respond someone had pretty much pointed out everything I wanted to say and more.

    BTW have you seen Outfoxed?

  • @shumirules1 people, INCLUDING tax-cuts for the poor (ie. lower-class) and the not-so-rich,-not-so-poor (ie. middle-class) people, the public option, TAX-CUTS for BUSINESSES (large, small, middle-size, you name it) that are started, made, and/or done RIGHT HERE IN THE UNITED STATES INSTEAD OF OVERSEAS, tax-cuts for companies that create jobs right here at home instead of outsourcing them overseas and/or to another country.

all those are great ideas that the Republicans and other naysayers have

  • @shumirules1 ..either watered down, and/or said "no" to. because they don't allow their buddies in big-business and big corporations keep their trillions of dollars in profits in their wallets for their big yatchs and all the other crap they spent their money on.

  • @shumirules1 but where do they get their money? from the money they get from us the tax-payers / the american people. so technically, THEY answer to US. NOT US TO THEM.

big-businesses should be answering to US the AMERICAN PEOPLE, NOT us to THEM.

  • @shumirules1 keep calling it "ObamaCare" like Republicans, Fox, TeaPartiers, and every other manipulated and gullible person calls it but it has NOTHING TO DO with Obama.

  • stop blaming obama for our problems. don't forget there is a state government and they are just as responsible for bring jobs to their respectable state.even under the bush tax cuts, jobs were still being cut and outsourced . the people who should have their taxes raise, how about republicans bed buddies like AIG,Merrill lynch,Leihman Brothers, Bank of America, Citi bank, wells fargo, goldman saches. they all lead to this recession.but none of ya'll see this, lets just bash obama uh. smh...

  • He cannot be trusted

Obama is doing a bad job in office

i think after 2012 its all over for Obama

not alot of people like him and he keeps making our economy worse

  • see people like wsoxman go off topic with Rumors and Propaganda to make their point sound credible however, most people with a basic education can see that it's just a poor and stupid comment.

  • @snowwolf7777 Once again you post like a liberal with no Facts or figures.

Keep the HOPE up and trust in Nancey Pelosi and Harry Reid. They will take good care of you. "You Received a tax return just like 95% of Americans"? Funny, I prepare a tax return and pay my taxes, unlike over 60% that pay no Federal Income Tax. It was just found that over 95K Federal employees owe nearly $1billion in taxes. Why isn't this government garnishing their wages?

  • @wsoxman because federal employees have unions, they fight for their rights and they pay taxes. Unions are the only ones who fight to keep American jobs run by Americans.

listen Glenn Beck, You don't know a damn thing about me, I just Hate the Tea party, but I think I will Vote Dem just to piss people like you off.

Go back to Fox News, who give millions of dollars to Republicans.

  • @snowwolf7777 Unions make up only about 15% of the workforce. Unions are a dying GOON organization. They run business over seas. They bankrupt Car Makers.

The government just handed $10 billion to teachers, police and fire. It was estimated by CNN, that over $100 million will go to the stinking unions in dues. Taxpayer dollars going to GOONs. Reported that many school districts were never going to fire teachers and are saving the bailout dollars. NBC donated over $650k to Dem Governor race.

  • @snowwolf7777 What part of 97000 Fed employees owe back taxes that add up to $ billion, don't you understand?????????????? Now go read a book kid. U keep voting for the HOPE and Change.

  • @wsoxman the part where a you don't have any proof and your full of shit.

  • @snowwolf7777 Try reading a Newspaper kid. It was all over the papers and TV about 2 weeks ago. "In 2008, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) reported that over 97,000 federal employees were delinquent on their federal income taxes, owing a total of $1 billion in unpaid taxes. This includes 1,151 employees who owe $7 million at the Department of Treasury which oversees the IRS.

Liberals would sooner say "Liar" then lookup facts.

  • @wsoxman I don't read Das Reich, sorry to tell you but, that statements was taken out of context it was debunked by the Washington post.

Unlike you I don't like to change the subject, because I'm not retard who failed logical argument 101,

However, the president still hasn't raised taxes on Anyone Making Less Than $250,000 a Year. The only liar is you.

  • @wsoxman Actual, It's doing quite well, since I invested wisely. I'm making an average income of 127k yearly and that's after taxes.

and at this time Reagan's approval was at 40%,

thank you for asking, now how much do you pay in taxes and how much did it increase?

  • @wsoxman last time a Republican was in power the market WAS below 8000, and only gained after a democrat got control of office. Republicans have no idea of Economic. Reagan and the bush's caused 80% of our deficits spending and debt. What did the democrats gave us, a surplus.

  • @snowwolf7777 You need to read a history book. Try that in Jan of 2007, the Market was 14000. Lets see, $180 billion Bush out of control spending vs $1.3 Trillion and rising Obama spending. Don't think to hare which number is higher.

You talk like a Liberal with NO FACTS. 3.5 years ago the Dems took the power of the Congress. 3.5 years ago things started going to shit. Hows that Stimulus Plan working for YOU?

  • @wsoxman I don't want YOUR Texas history books, I like my history book written by people who have a history degree.

Your trying to manipulate the evidence, spoken by a true fox news views

let me sum up your argument, the market was higher, before the crash Oct 08 (which happened under bush watch)?, No Shit!

and didn't get above 10000 until obama

Regan increased spending by 2.4 trillion. So you must really hate that guy

and since the stimulus stopped the massive job loss, i say pretty well

  • @snowwolf7777 So you are saying that the Stock Market that is Still in the shitter was in shitter when the GOP lead Congress? If you believe that, you really need to put down the wacky Obama Kool Aid. Just look up the DOW history.

The stimulus hasn't stop shit you fool. Lets see, Obama promised if the this wasteful bill was passed unemployment would go higher the 8%. So at 9.5% and increasing, how is the wasteful PORK spending doing? I'm done with Dumb people like you. Go away

  • @snowwolf7777 And Please, don't give me JOBS SAVED Bullshit. No proof to that liberal spin. All government fucking Union jobs too.

  • @wsoxman Aw, can't handle the facts the job loss was brought down after the stimulus/

wsoxman is a tool and a puppet, as much as I enjoy kicking your ass, your bad argument is just iterating me, since you lost all your creditability, because all your doing is attacking and not making much sense.

If you hate big government you would be angry at Reagan and Bush for spending on outrages wars and incressing government agency's, but their you masters and a dog doesn't bite the hand that feds him.

  • @snowwolf7777 What a MSNBC Pelosi spin. Try telling the millions of folks out of jobs "The Stimulus helped them" Try telling all the folks that have seen their 401ks tank. Big Government never ever produced anything but waste and fraud.

It only helped the SOBs in Washington take care of Unions. My guess is you want to give the 12 million++ illegal trespassers citizenship. So you don't see that this government has more Debt they all the others combined? Do you read a newspaper? geez

  • @wsoxman like I said, Your a dog who's just humping his masters leg, do what they say, blame the unions, while the Banks and CEO's get rich.

however, like all dogs you'll be put down once you become a threat.

  • @snowwolf7777 More BS about NOTHING. You keep believing in Ca$h for Clunkers, Lower Health Care, and Saved Jobs, while the majority of Americans think this government is no better then the last government. Vote them all out.

    Obama ONE AND DONE

  • @wsoxman Thank you, health care premimums went up more this year than it has in ever.

  • @snowwolf7777 Dumb ass, CEO's get rich because they made successful businesses, created 100's-1000's of jobs, and actually have half a brain. What will raising taxes on the rich and businesses do for you oh so middle and lower class? NOTHING Obama will waste it on more government bs plans and packages which do nothing, and give none of it to you. All raising taxes does in destroy businesses, lose jobs, and cause more poverty. Get your head out of you ass.

  • @avaiae dumb ass? are you a retard football monkey, who can only say the same thing over and over again. Inbreeding most be a big problem in your community.

Wrong again, CEO's aren't the person who created the successful businesses, their elected by the Stockholders. The stockholders only want to increase the companies value they don't care for business, the employees or the product unless it effects profit. Personal, I don't care what they invest, but that doesn't give the pass on paying tax

  • @snowwolf7777 Not always Ceo's can create businesses, it varies from situation to situation. And the rest of what you said wasn't relevant.

  • @snowwolf7777 Not always Ceo's can create businesses, you're thinking of multi billion dollar or hundred million dollar corporations. I'm talking small to medium businesses. ( Which I know sometimes are more than one hundred million.

  • @snowwolf7777 Not always Ceo's can create businesses, you're thinking of multi billion dollar or hundred million dollar corporations. I'm talking small to medium businesses. ( Which I know sometimes are more than one hundred million.) I also was talking about how the goverment invests the money they get from businesses, and how if he raises taxes, then the businesses total profit goes down.

  • @avaiae so you your talking about a single own aka family business style, but here's the thing government hasn't raised taxes on this style of business,

i wonder if you actual understand profit?

  • @snowwolf7777 My god, I'm not as stupid as I may seem, I have a problem with translating ideas into words. But sweet jesus, you're wrong. My dad owns a business, follow me? And it is a "small business" Yes, the same businesses that make 81% of jobs. And his taxes are going to go up by 10% ( in about 3 months it hasn't happened yet) and his health care premiums are going up by 35%. I have proof. All I'm saying is this is hurting business expansion and making less jobs by doing this.

  • @avaiae So? You didn't have to comment on my post, so I can be the biggest ass I want to be :D . Let me guess your dad owns a used car dealership and before you go off topic..

10%? BS, the greats tax increase in the USA was at 7%, that's only if you make over 350,000

Since the health-care Bil hasn't even gone into effect yet, you have to take that up with your insurance company.

Tell your dad to buy Turbo Tax,.

  • @snowwolf7777 First of all no, he doesn't own a used car dealership, he owns an entertainment retail store. (game, videos, music, books, toys etc.) And it has over 40 stores, and he makes more in a year than you will in a decade. Second of all it's like 8 or 9 percent not exactly ten, sorry, and it takes effect January 1st. 3rd, The health insurance took effect for us the 1st of this month. So a little over a week ago. And why do that?

  • @avaiae This isn't the first time you lied or made exaggerated claims, how can I feel sympathy to a lair. Did your dad forgot to teach you ethics as well?

  • @snowwolf7777 Lol, you don't have to believe me, and what would I gain from lying? I honestly could care less about what a brain dead democrat thinks. His businesses are Vintage Stock and Movie Trading Co. ( He purchased MTC from block buster, but kept their name so customers would keep coming back) feel free to look them up. Besides he taught me ethics, I am a straight A private school student, I am kind to others, I don't steal, or lie. And I don't cheat.

  • @avaiae What type of ethic's course teaches you to be straight?

  • @snowwolf7777 Straight as in good, or straight as in the sexual orientation?

  • @avaiae lol, sorry it's just the context you put it in.

  • @snowwolf7777

Your missing a very important point if he is lying it just helps your case.He just admitted his dad owns 40 stores that's not small business. My mom owned a restaurant that's small business. If his dad is so upset about tax increases he can just go cry into a big bag of money."Oh woe is me I only made 12 million this year!Under Bush I would have made 14!Looks like Johny's gonna have to get a Porsche and not a Mclaren!Sob"

  • @Tyjohnable yes, but at that point his argument didn't hold any water, so I wasn't as critical as I could be.

  • @snowwolf7777 The last time a Republican was in power. He was a liberal. Screw Bush.

  • @CSuiters hahahahahah.. Because of his stance on gay marriage, steam-cells and taxes. You guys can't understand why bush was a bad president, let me sum it up to you he was a conservative, an ideology that has been proven wrong on all levels. He was the Far-right, the only thing he was moderate about was immigration,

don't forget, the sole idea of conservatives is to kept everything at the status quo.

  • @snowwolf7777 You dumb ass, Obama raised taxes on small businesses. Tell me how that's supposed to help the economy. He also wasted billions on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which bush tried to shut down in 2003, but Palosi, Barney Frank, and co. denied letting him do that. And don't get me started on health care, premiums went up 35% on my dad's business (500 grand). Obama is trying to make small businesses fail with increased health care rates, and increased taxes. He is one of the worst.

  • @avaiae and 2003? the dems didn't gain control of office until 2007, so your really just make shit up right about now

  • @snowwolf7777 The congress "roster" at the time when Bush tried to prevent it was 50 republican 48 Democrat and 2 independent. And I'm not positive but I thought it had to be something like 60 40 or 66 33 or something like that, get back to me if you can figure that out.

  • @snowwolf7777

lol obama makes higher debts than every other president before him combined!!!

(bush made the same in his period though!!!)

  • @voittajac your grammar is horrible, learn to write redneck.

  • @snowwolf7777

im german and i bet u can only speak 1 language so fu

  • @voittajac Your German? what does that have to do with anything. If you want to play American politic, you better learn English fast (the republicans don't like it if they have to be multicultural), because I won't talk about the SPD-Green vs CDU unless it's in Deutsch. Auf Wiedersehen

  • @snowwolf7777 i couldn't agree more with you

  • @snowwolf7777 - we have run in the red every year, be it Republican or Democrat ... surplus? Point me to your source on that. Second, Mr. Obama is going to be breaking his promise not to raise taxes for those below $250,000 come January 1st, 2011. You need to check out the other promises he has broken. Stop being like Obama, who wants to point fingers at someone else and not be accountable for his dismal performance regarding the things that got him elected (economy).

  • @jgehb Source? Look up Bill Clinton and Surplus.

All this can be proven at Gallup poll.

And sure, the Apocalypse is happening next week too, same thing with the socialist take over and the banning of guns. Your being Hypocritical, you trying to prove he going to do something before he hasn't even done it? Are you insane?

to put it simple, your logical is, I should randomly arrest a Mexican in Mexico, before he crosses the boarder and breaks the law.

  • @snowwolf7777 Come on dude, is there really a difference between the two?? Was Reagan a true Republican? Did Bush have a humble foreign policy like promised us? Both groups are fucked up and only help the corporations. Sure we have elections every four years but that doesn't stop most lobbyist from investing in both parties. We have been under a corporate dictatorship for at least 40 years now... and you thought Egypt was due...

  • @FocusWithin I remember a time when liberal and Conservative member of each party. Their arguments were fought over in the primary. Now their one party for liberals and one party for conservatives and people are shocked that their isn't a compromise between the two.

The Democrats don't cost me money, i personally don't mind them as much

  • @snowwolf7777 The same democrats that ran on platforms that will create government programs? The same Democrats who started wars? Yeah those things never cost Americans anything in taxes.... Let alone inflation which is another tax as well

  • @FocusWithin who says government programs are bad for me? Running a business that's both environmental friendly and provides local jobs. I get a good deal with uncle sam who provide me with the means to gain and keep my money and we pay least amount in taxes in the developed world, but after all that just my humble opinion.

Political Party are just interest groups that ally together. Everyone knows that.

but, I don't know (or care) what your argument is about?

  • @snowwolf7777 As long as your getting your government handout why question anything. Its too bad you didn't choice a business that could sustain itself without handouts from the government. The rest of the American people are tired of having to support you and your family. You are essentially on business welfare, lol.

  • @FocusWithin lol, have you ever taken a business course. It's all about getting an on top of the competition. The Koch brothers who are strong liberationists deal with the government everyday. They arrange pay offs and don't even pay taxes, because they just got in bed with the Tea Party who they uses to elect people they like.

Any smart businessman knows how to uses every advantage to them. Of course, I never said i need government to make a profit. You sound so serious, stop being a fascist

  • @snowwolf7777 Try taking a business ethics course, hand out boy

  • @FocusWithin lol, kid your just a idiot with no life. Clearly you don't pay taxes, so why don't you get off the internet and stop wasting your parents money. They need to save for the food stamps and condoms, i don't want to pay for another abortion.

  • @snowwolf7777 Nice attempt at a come back after I completely owned your ass. I pay my taxes, and I don't need a hand out either. Clearly the only time I need condoms is when I am fu-fu-fu fucking your mom

  • @FocusWithin aw, your retard too, how sweet. But, I don't need a computer to feel good about myself. So rather then continue a pointless argument of insults, I wish to tell one little fact and you know it's true. Republicans are going to fuck up in a year and Obama will be reelected in 2012. Pwned! (I believe that is the correct term you kids been saying now days)

  • "aw, your retard too", lol. Do you think I am going to be offended by a retard calling me a retard? Look at the very best, it was at least someone attempting to call me a retard in a retarded manner.

  • @snowwolf7777 The rest of your reply was also garbage. You going to tell me one little "fact" that I know to be true... come on you can't really expect me to take that as "fact". I think your wrong though, the people wanted Obama because he represented change. What we didn't want was another Bush. And what did Obama do? Increased troops to the middle east by 4%, approved wiretapping, ok'd water boarding, catered to big corporations.

  • Respond to this video... Do you think the bank bail outs will come back to bite Obama on the ass? You have to admit that was a fucked up thing to do the American taxpayers.

  • @FocusWithin 3 reply? I mention the man's name once and you go crazy. I think we found a weak point, and i bet Obama will not only win, but in 2 or 3 weeks the government will shut down because of the Republican congress lack to run anything or pass budget. Then you have hundreds of thousands of federal employees looking for a pay check and the elderly asking who going to be paying my social security or medicare. This is going to blow back right in congress face. Fun all around

  • @snowwolf7777 No weak spot here, I just had a lot to say and only so many characters per reply. You didn't answer my question though, Do you think the bank bailouts were a good idea?

  • @FocusWithin You should study Forensics. It's a wonderful skill to have, plus it teaches you to reply in a short and timely manner with a limited but content based responsive, and since you want to turn this into a debate (which I welcome, rather then a ramble ranting) you got to understand some rules about argument.

That being said, you asked do I agree with the bank bailout?

what part of the bailout are you referring too? The necessary of a bailout, how this bailout was done, etc...

  • @snowwolf7777 i can smell the bullshit from here..

  • @snowwolf7777 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HOPE YOUR NOT SERIOUS

  • @adrenalinerushskier clearly, since your trying to laugh on the internet, your mind most be the size of a child.

  • @snowwolf7777 No scumbag have you seen the debt we accumulated since the fucking foreigner took office? Im laughing at you fucking stupidity, go hang yourself.

  • @adrenalinerushskier faceplam, who the fuck are you? why do you hate me and do you even know where is stand politically? I pwned one Conservative idiot already, I can easily pwned you. For one, do you know how national debt works or who owns the majority of US shares or better still who said the most famous quote "deficits don't matter"?

  • @snowwolf7777 What is this 20 questions? I just fucking hate all socialists and communists period. All of it is impractical.

  • @adrenalinerushskier what type of socialist? what type of communist? If you hate all socialist, you hate Germany, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and many more. Capitalism it technically impractical without minor government intervention. Of course, the reverse is also true, communism such as "war communism" which was practice by the soviets in 1917 is was to hard on the production. That's why Lenin want with the NEP, a sort of mix economy, that worked, but to bad Stalin did away with that.

  • @snowwolf7777 I love the people and Europe, I compete against them with my sport and there cool people and I get along with them well, the thing is I wan't the US to be capitalist, and I wan't to be proud of it. If you wan't socialism move to another country.

  • @adrenalinerushskier No, you can't tell people in government in which you share to move to another country, considering, because your preaching capitalist economic, yet anti democracy politics. Capitalism does not equal freedom. The history of socialist movement is connected to american history and American's have embraced socialism in the past, but today it's not really socialism

corporatism is the economic enemy of today, Adam Smith warned uses about how corporatism would exploit his system

  • @snowwolf7777 The last time a Republican was in power the Dow marched to 14000.....it wasn't until the end of the term it had its deep correction......Clinton ended his term with a recession too....the tech bubble bursting ...Bush had the financial crisis at the end of his term....don't get too excited we have yet to see what the fallout will be at the end of Obama's term. Also when Obama took over our debt was at $8.6 trillion...in two years it has exploded to $14.2 trillion...65% increase.

  • @kfeder76 BULLSHIT! lol. the debt was 12.1 trillion the day Obama took over, He mentioned it in his Victory speech if you want to look that up, it was 5 month after obama came to office that the DOW regained. After all, most of the debt is caused by 2 wars unpaid for, a corrupted health care system and taking money out of social security, all happen under bush.

After all, this is funny considering that your lying like an idiot. No wonder why Donald Trump is the front runner of 2012.

  • @snowwolf7777 actually sorry....yes you are correct....what I meant to say was our debt was $8.6 trillion when the democrats took over the house and senate in 2007....sorry for the error. The Dow regained what? It still has not made new highs over the one we hit in 2007.

  • @kfeder76 You mean before the recession, that's because we were in the housing bubble. That gain was worthless. I'm sorry, but if you want lie and bullshit your facts, work for Fox. Your not worth talking too, if all I'm doing is debunking you pathetic banter you call an argument.

  • @snowwolf7777 so based on your theory if we slip back into or double dip in this recession the gains you are talking about now would be worthless too? Also....corporations were worth more because we were in a housing bubble? HMM....you know I have followed Wall St. since 1996...I have seen rally's and I have seen declines...I love how the rally's under Bush don't count but the one's under Clinton and Obama do? Who is not worth talking to? You you fucking retard...a rally is a rally .

  • @kfeder76 it's worthless because the market couldn't sustain it self, that's why it collapsed under Bush watch. The idiot didn't know a thing a about economics. You might as well be playing with monopoly money because it's only valuable in short term, and you been watching the market since 1996? I actual went to college and have a masters in business.

  • @snowwolf7777 yah I have been investing in the market since 1996...congratulations on your degree....I went to college too...I majored in Business as well.....I have a finance degree....I also attained a Series 7 license and 63 license....pretty sure I am more knowledgeable on the securities markets than you.....or does your masters in business give you the ability to sell securities?????????

  • @snowwolf7777 So if the market is unable to sustain itself it is false and therefore worthless huh....ok than the run up we had in the 90's was also unsustainable therefore false as well...was that because Clinton doesn't know shit about economics too????? I tend to believe the markets in the long term get it right based on EPS. In the short run the estimates for EPS are often over or under exagerated. Under Bush....stocks in general saw good earnings growth but had too high of expectations.

  • @kfeder76 No, I agree that was also false growth. However, unlike bush, Clinton knew that growth wasn't going to last too. He made the investments in all the right places and provide a surplus for the US to counter and eliminate debt, so next time we would be in an economic crises we would have money to saved up to get us out of it. It would have been Keynesian economics model recovery, however the government doesn't have money because of Bush.

  • @snowwolf7777 Clinton made a "budget" surplus. He did nothing for the national debt. All he did was spend less for a few years. If my yearly budget was 50,000, but I spent 30,000. It wouldn't mean jack shit if I still owed 400,000 on my 500,000 home, two cars and whatever else! Clinton didn't do shit

  • @RythmandStrings not true, His plain would have eliminated the US debt by now, if only bush didn't touch it. Can someone who reply to my comment actual study some economics or know how the public debt works. This idiot is example is so stupid it makes me want to cry.

  • Now how can this politician lie with a smile on his face? I'm bending over for the tax hikes and hidden tax hikes in Healthcare. Where have all the "I voted for Obama" bumper stickers gone?

  • Hate to burst everyone bubble, but he kept that promise.

  • @snowwolf7777 - i doubt any of them will believe you, they probably think obama was born in kenya or that he's muslim

  • @sfiorare ignorance is bliss after all.

  • Comment removed

  • @snowwolf7777 So according to you, Obama "kept that promise" of no tax increases? Where have you been? Do you read the papers? Do you understand how this governments spending, our grand kids and their grand kids will be paying higher taxes to payoff the PORK spending that produced NO jobs or the "Summer of Recovery" Obama Promised "The unemployment rate won't go above 7.5, if we spend $trillion paying back UNIONS and special interest groups.

  • @wsoxman - you don't seem to understand much about public finance

  • @sfiorare You don't seem to understand the use of my taxes dollars does not give politicians the right to use PORK spending to payback for votes. Fraud and Waste in governorment will bring this economy down. Government can't run anything well except making more laws. Public Finance is not just printing more money with no equity to back it up. Now go take a econ course.

  • @wsoxman - it's pretty obvious you're so eaten up with political rhetoric that you don't see reality; so keep it up, you're doing a real good job of being duped by media; because we all know that a doomsday attitude is just the thing that will help improve the economy

  • @sfiorare The "Reality" of today's politics is that these pompous politicians are out of tough with the average citizen. Obama has no clue to what the AVERAGE American wants. He just does the opposite. Just might explain the crap approval ratings of the President and Congress. Elitist people that never have to meet a payroll or budget. Or pay their taxes. This government has Dividend the country. Lack of leadership experience could be Obama's excuse?

  • @wsoxman - you and pol pot have a lot in common

  • @wsoxman yes, I do, I also recived a tax return just like 95% of americans.

Nothing you said has to do with tax increase..... Your argument is invalid.

  • @snowwolf7777 He did not keep that promise Obama is doing a bad job in office

he keeps raising taxes and keeps making the economy worse

  • my personal favorite is his promise to end the wars in afghanistan and iraq...who needs stand up comedy when you've got these clowns on tv all the time?

  • Lies. All lies. I am newly married and a first-time father, just in time for the child tax credit to be cut in half and the marriage penalty to be reinstated. I make substantially less than 250k. What do I get in return? A fatherhood website that tells me to replace incandescent lights with mercury-filled compact florescent bulbs. What a rip-off.

  • Gee, I guess that depends on what your definition of "any" is! Today, we find out that the Obama administration is now more than happy to call the insurance mandate a "tax", so it can't be found as unconstitutional in the current lawsuits, even though he made this empty promise NUMEROUS times and even mocked people that called the insurance mandate a "tax". I guess this new development makes him a "fear-monger"! Uh oh, somebody was "baring false witness"! Where have we heard that before? Hmmm...

  • Bush tax cuts went all the way down to the 15% marginal tax rate, which is not a "rich" person.

Also the child tax credit is being lowered from $1000 to $500. I'm sure that reduction will only hurt the "rich", right.

    ;)

  • Apparently you can put a link in the comments, but the penalty is a TAX. Look up the article by New York Times:

Changing Stance, Administration Now Defends Insurance Mandate as a Tax

    By ROBERT PEAR

    7/18/2010

"Moreover, the department says the penalty is a tax because it will raise substantial revenue: $4 billion a year by 2017, according to the Congressional Budget Office. "

Enjoy that egg on your face.

  • Yeah I'd clap too if that were going to happen. And if that would really benifet the econemy. It's been proven not to work. It is called socialism. Fdr Hoover and wilson tried it. Canada and European countries have and time and time again, fails.

  • @doughbafett

I have read the health care plan. I do follow the news. The taxes are NOT on everyone (a fine is NOT a tax). The tax cuts DO only affect the wealthy.

Prove otherwise or shut your hole. (And for the record, I'm not a Democrat.)

  • @ComicsGn2 You lie!!!

  • @Inyarear Brilliant rebuttal. lol

  • Well, except for the cigarette taxes for S-CHIP. Or the hundreds of billions in new taxes for Obamacare. Or the Bush tax cuts that will expire at the end of 2010. Or capital gains taxes. Or......well, you non-Kool-aid drinkers get the idea.

  • @doughbafett HEY FUCK FACE 1) the taxes involved with health care reform are on the wealthy only 2) the Bush tax cuts expire also only affect the wealthy... see the pattern yet? You're an idiot too lazy to do the research.

  • @ComicsGn2 Have you even read the health care plan? Hell, forget reading it(just like Congress). Have you followed the news? The taxes are on everyone. If you don't buy health insurance, the IRS fines you. You can use whatever euphemism you want. That's a damn tax!

And the expiration of the Bush tax cuts don't just affect the "wealthy". If Obama allows all of them to expire, people with salaries in the low 30's will pay higher taxes.

Do some research yourself before spewing DNC talking points!

  • Liar Liar pants on fire

  • Today his "firm pledge" is now being called his "preference" and his "stand" on the topic.

"This morning at a Manhattan breakfast sponsored by Thomson Reuters, White House Budget Director Peter Orszag threw that pledge out the window. Instead, he described Obamas read my lips, no new taxes pledge as a stance and a preference that is subject to study by the presidents newly formed bipartisan Commission on Fiscal Responsibility."

  • Didn't 95% of people get a tax cut just recently

  • "I can make a firm pledge"

    (But I'm not.)

    "under my plan"

(but we're not going by my plan so expect taxes to sky rocket and everything to cost more.)

Every speech Obama gives is full of escape holes. You just have to open your eyes.

  • During Obamas 1st year Taxpayers are currently paying 9.2% total tax load of personal income, thats the lowest percentage of income since 1950,thanks to the stimulus bill and progressive rates based on income we pay less taxes!

  • Lying is never justified. My point is that, besides the pragmatic reality that a politician can never be 100% honest (then again, find me any human being who can), conservatives are so nick-picky about any politician that isn't one of their own. I have yet to meet a conservative who is actually supportive of someone who doesn't label themselves as such. I don't find that Patriotic in the least bit. That, to me, is truly pathetic.

  • Find me a politician who has never lied, and I'll find you a pig that can fly.

  • @cyrus0007 So that justifies his action. Pathetic response.

  • @cyrus0007 How about Ron Paul? He is a representative from Texas. He says what he believes and sticks with it, even if his belief isn't popular. Whether or not you agree with he doesn't lie. And how many liberals are supportive of people who aren't liberals? Why would they? Conservatives AND Liberals support those who believe as they do, which is only natural.

  • @cyrus0007 The point is Obama lied to us. Maybe that isn't as unusual as it should be, and maybe the majority of politicians do the same, but THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT ANY BETTER!!! It is still a lie, which is made even worse by that fact that he is now trying to act like he never said he wouldn't raise taxes.

  • I think Obama is awesome and hope he wins in 2012.

That said, he needs to get real about taxes. They need to go up to pay for Bush's wars.

  • Politician - Hypocrite.

    I am so surprised.

  • One scary thought though! We like it when the politicians say "no" or "little" taxes,Right? Well, this year only 53% of the nation paid any taxes. This is due to left over legacy tax cuts still in place by Bush. What if most of us never pay any more taxes? You think we can run this country for free? I hope!! Actually, There was no way we could afford Bush's cuts as it just got added on to the debt. If Obama does the right thing we better get back to realisitc taxes.

  • @abanikka

People pay taxes, the problem with the media is they don't differentiate the different taxes.

  • @Shinius

Er, more than 53% of people pay taxes*

  • @Shinius No. Only 46% pay taxes. In 2007 there were 138 million taxpayers and 302 million citizens.

  • @Shinius All taxes are ultimately paid for by consumers.

  • Then there is the "tan tax" also known as the "Tax on White People"
