  • I honestly cannot wait for Bioshock infinite! While I really enjoyed Bioshock 2, it wasn't a worthy successor, at least not in the way that Infinite will be (hopefully).

  • 2012, and still playing Bioshock 1, don't really play the 2nd as much. Infinite is coming out soon!!!

  • @Joethebestest Yeah the second game wasn't as good. Good but disappointing. The developer just couldn't match the same sense of wonder, fear, despair, and beauty of the first. Not to mention it wasn't as visually impressive even from a technical point of view. Im no a graphic whore but I could have gone with a bit more effort with the visuals. How ever the sound design was a pretty solid successor to the original. The schreetches of the big sisters will haunt me.

  • @Joethebestest you do kno that it has nothing to do with 1 or 2, right?

  • @theSpartan187 I'm just saying you don't need to be a Douchebag about it

  • @Joethebestest I wasnt srry about that

  • @theSpartan187 Dude STFU already JESUS!!!

  • Would you kindly hump a big daddy?

  • @Legion640 I wonder what he'd do about that

  • like 2012 movie. :)

  • which reminds of 2012 is coming. end of de world. rapture.

  • step into my garden..gigity

  • disliker...we will find you...

  • Too bad Bioshock 2 sucked dick.

  • @DirtyJewbz FUCK NO IT DOESN'T! O:<

    DOUCEBAG!

  • @Louder31 It was made by a different developer and didn't have the zing Bioshock 1 had.

Saying it sucked dick was a little harsh, I must admit. lol

  • @DirtyJewbz

Now, go get stepped on by a Big Daddy, would you kindly.

  • @Sebansho I will....... kindly....

  • This song reminds me of whales :P

  • Sounds remember me on Max PAyne ;) ;)

  • amazing, omg i love these

  • i loved every single nanosecond of bioshock

  • @darkchaser25 Same here, man...

  • Kill the disliker, would you kindly...

  • @WonderTeamFortress Yes sir Mr. Atlas.

  • "Leaks, lunatics, rebellion, and now bleeding ghosts. Ain't life in Rapture grand?" -McDonough

  • I Can't Believe How Good These Are.

  • one thing i miss from Bioshock 1 is that the splicers toyd with you ALOT not so much in 2

  • Contrary to some people, I didn't think this game was scary at all. Like Dead Space or Left 4 Dead(which I don't think WAS supposed to be scary).

  • @JoyReaper1

I agree on dead space and lfd 2, but the soundtrack in this game was enough to creep me out

  • kinda sounds like the Nightmare on Elm Street theme at first. :D O_o

  • i chose something different, i chose the impossible. I chose.......Rapture

  • A MAN CHOOSES...........

  • @filthmonger171 A slave, obeys. =)

  • yeah when i hear this song playing in arcadia i cant remeber if it is when you restore the forest or when you enter it but when i hear this song its like the trees are talking and everywhere is just full of life........Until andrew ryan kills everything of coarse......:(

  • Bioshock 1 is way better than bioshock 2

  • @cavic4life bioshock 1 can eat a dick! bioshock 2 ftw!

  • @cavic4life I agree. I loved bioshock 2 as well but Bioshock 1's plot was so full of twists and turns, it really kept me on my seat!

  • All I can think of when this music plays is the dentist room with all the fog in it..... Creeeeeepy.

  • Bioshock was one of the best games I've played in a while. Music is mind-blowing, the story will give you chills of excitement, and the combat will give you a good run for your money.

  • I was looking through bathrooms, picked up an eve hypo, and I look at the shadows, and there is a splicer standing right behind me. Fucking scared me.

  • This music is played on arcadia, right? Well, it reminds me of insect swarm. Bugs. They don't like you

  • the first few seconds remind me of Halo CE when you first find the flood.....very spine tingling

  • When he popped up I began shooting all over the place

  • "What's the point of being a damn genius if the only ones around to appreciate it are a bunch of spliced up morons?"

Lol, CURSE THOSE SPLICED UP MORONS!!! *Shakes fist*

At first I hated Arcadia cause I got lost SO much in there. But then I grew to like it cause I find Julie to be absolutely hilarious!

  • A reminder of the creepy animal noises that plague you in arcadia...

  • honey. bee. spit.

  • 9547.......*Choking*, *choking*......

Oh my gosh, im so good at remembering some numbers!

  • It's so eerie yet so beautiful.

  • @F14ace Much like the rest of Rapture really...

  • thats just a awesome game i think i already played it 6 or 7 throught times but its allways great to play it agawell bioshock 1 and 2 are just the best games i have ever played (well multiplayer isnt that good)

well i hope bioshock infinite is also that great

  • I don't like the first houdini splicer you see in arcadia he's a sick pervert....

first he screams for help then runs around scraring the shit outta ya then when you go to check your lunchbox behind the mask he pops behind you and whispers

    'hello sweetheart' he's a sick man i tells ya......sick

  • @MrCharger911 This is Rapture, everyone is sick in Rapture.

  • @slycooper112 But he takes it to a whole new level....

like peter's doctor experience in family guy it's traumatising :'(

  • @MrCharger911 || This is what makes him amazing. As well as all of Rapture. Wouldn't of been the same if they were all right in the head. :)

  • Best first-person, single player game ever. Period..

  • Houdini Splicers weren't even scary...it's this fucking sweet music! Thumbs up if you agree Bioshock has the best game soundtrack EVER!

  • @nudeood this and obliviob for the soothing muisc!!!

  • It's a cello! YES!!!

Now I'm going to play this on my own...

  • i like that violin they have in there

    *chills*

  • I think ryan just killed arcadia

  • Games have never scared me really except for those "BOO!" moments, but the music in BS made me nervous as hell. Damn fine games.Hope they stay that way as the series continues.

  • Okay I was playing the one lvl where you first find a houdini splicer and I was like choo an't gettin' away then he went invisible.... ME, fool I was walked up to a lock box and had fun with telikkenisis..... when I was done my friend and I started wacking the wrench like hell,A nature spirit mask fell in front of me and a shadow I hadn't noticed before was there.... I turned around.......BURGER KING GUY!!!!. thumbs up if something like this happend. (ps the burger king guy ownd me) thumbs up!!!

  • @mrspritezero WHAT THE FUCK?

  • Houdinis are so creepy...

I don't even want to look behind me now even if I'm not playing Bioshock.

  • Julie, we made a business deal, you and I, did we not? Money changed hands. Let me read to you from the agreement... Section 3, Subsection 4

  • @hahaNO56

i love the way he says "section 3, subsection 4"

  • man when i first played bioshock and heard this song i pissed my pants.

    2K is amazing

  • I think this plays when you encounter your first Houdini Splicer in Arcadia.

  • I thing this song is in Arcadia...I love this part of the game...;)

  • Irrartional needs to make the next bioshock or they should scrap the series.

  • XD my friend thinks the title sounds dirty ROFL

  • @SecretTacoNinja That freaked me out at first I thought she was gonna jump down on me. LOL

  • what days go by.....

  • Ahh, hunting for the first Houdini Splicer you encounter in Arcadia. Good times, good times.

  • I don't think this was the music playing, but when I was searching in a surgery room, I found a tonic on the desk. After I picked it up and placed it in the slot, I turned round and there was a splicer right behind me the whole time, waiting. I jumped out of my seat and considering I was on Survyvor (sorry for the spelling if I misspelled it) and he demolished my health. Ahh, good ol' days of cheap scares. Damn you 2k, I love you though. Lmao.

  • say damn you to irrational games :P

they were 2k Boston(at the time)

  • lol when that happened to me i jumped 10 feet in the air and clicked as fast as i could with pistol, hah after that i found it hilarious :3

  • @TheBlindManShow I hate that part!!! :P I just screamed when I turned around and pressed start LOL!

  • @BJARRGH12 regarding the medical pavillion I know, and I even saw it coming. I knew it was gonna happen. The problem is, no matter which way you're facing, as soon as the mist comes down, it always faces you towards the wall. -shudder- Creepiest part of the game, to me.

  • @TheBlindManShow dude that happened to me, i was searching a desk then it all went foggy then i turn around and there was a splicers face right in my view.. scared the crap outa me 0.0

  • @TheBlindManShow

thats the bit with all the steam isnt it?

  • @TheBlindManShow You're not the only one! XD And there are multiple videos on YouTube that are of that scene. All of them still freak me out too~! XD

  • @TheBlindManShow

I jumped outta my seat too, so I useed my shotgun on it as fast as I could. You could say I nearly craped myself xD

  • @TheBlindManShow Thats why is always good to carry the shotgun, one shot in the chest and down he goes

  • @TheBlindManShow i freaked out to here is a tip for next time:freeze then wrench

  • @TheBlindManShow

Same thing happened to me in the dental area, I picked up a tonic, smoke appeared, and there was a splicer behind me. I flipped out and just whacked him in the face

  • @TheBlindManShow I used my shotgun to leave a mark on his face.

  • @TheBlindManShow haha lol i was freaked out to :p

  • @TheBlindManShow OMG I TOUGHT IT WAS A BUG! AND THAT IT WAS JUST ME!!! i never tought its a real thing in the game...

  • "and one day the gentalman topped calling"

  • the game was scary but the surroundings were amazing

  • scary music and Bioshock was highly scary I love how they put in new ways to scare you during the way. I luv Bio ;et's hope bio 2 is just as good

  • Bioshock 2 is a great game, but the story didn't really match up to its predecessor that much.

  • I sorta agree with you but it was still beyond awesome, I just beat it. Now I gotta beat it to see the evil ending :)

  • I agree no twists or really memorable villains like the complex Andrew Ryan, the insane Steinman, or, the best villain ever created in a video game, Sander Cohen.

  • One time, I was playing Bioshock, and I had killed at least 3splicers from the ceiling, I turned around and there was one RIGHT there in front of me. This song is played when your chasing, FlitzKerpatrick, I think.

  • No it isn't

  • No I think is sometime in Arcadia. I mean just look at the titlel.

  • This soundtrack always reminds me of when you're scouring for ammo, or first aid packs, and you hear something behind you, but when you turn around, there's nothing there. Scary.

  • damn thats exactly what i was thinking haha

  • This reminds me of a part where I was playing in Fort Frolic. I went down into the room where it says "More!" and when I went over to one corner of the room and turned around, there was one of those white splicers a few yards away. And when I zoomed in on that one with my crossbow, I began hearing another one crawling on the ceiling, and then when I looked around the room again, there was another one. Looked around, then another one appeared at the entrance to the room. It was really creepy!

  • that my friend is an "oh shit" moment

  • sander cohan gives me the creeps. Has anyone ever picked up the audio log where he goes badshit insane over a rabbit mask? Plus the fact that he kills people and encases them in cement and makes people fight to the death is also creepy.....

  • @fanaticmoron

I WANT TO TAKE THE EARS OFF BUT I CAN'T! ITS MY CURSE! IT'S MY FUCKING CURSE!

  • LET ME TAKE THEM OOOOFFFF!

  • But you have to admit, the guy's oozing class and style

  • Thanks for these tunes, they're awesome. I'd actually rather listen to this than most of the bullshit they put out in the charts.

  • Am ran away!!

  • Psycological horror works perfect for bioshock without question if it was up in your face horror it wdnt work.

  • Yes, the psychological horror was absolutely terrifying. There's nothing outright 'scary' about the game (okay... there's a bit, but nothing that'd put it beyond any zombie game), but the whole thing is just terrifying.

  • scariest bit of the whole game in arcadia when the houdini splicers are popping out evrywhere.

  • i want to build rapture sound hard fun and so cool and radicalnoran is right dont ruin my childhood too

  • where could i find all the actual old school music they played in the background on the radios and stuff?

  • search for "bioshock ost" here on youtube ;)

  • Comment removed

  • bioshock isnt a really "in your face" kind of scary like resident evil. it plays with your head, making you think things are there when they're really not. its a game that freaks you out when you're done playing it

  • Comment removed

  • "IT'S THEM GODDAMN FANATICS!!"

  • how do you find out the list to the different old school music that was played IN the game?

  • There on wiki just shurch bioshock and head down to music on the page and click main aritcal.

  • I liked the first Houdini Splicer in that level too, the one with the antlers , haha wow that part creeped me out

  • who crawls in my garden.....

  • the reason most people didnt find bioshock scary is because they didnt see the poin of having this game in first person. You have to put yourself to what is happening to jack. If you were in his place you would probably be terrified

  • Well, same would be for Far Cry, Crysis, Silent Hill, and alot others.

  • I find it more scary because ive shit my pants to turn around and see a splicer behind me screaming pick it up!

  • I nearly shat bricks even watching Bioshock, with my friend playing. When it comes to FP, I always put myself in their place. I don't see how other people can do anything else.

  • I liked the first Houndini in that level. if he hadn't been to slow for me to see him run away, I'd totally had believed him. Damn trickster.

  • I love finding more information on this storyline.

  • "What crawls in my garden?"

  • this is in the part when you see your first houdini splicer in Arcadia. It is scary!!!

  • to tell you the truth i dont find bioshock so scary

  • If you look at it as only a game and play on lower difficulties and rush through everything like i did the first time i played through then yeah, that'll happen, but if you go and take your time with higher difficulties then yeah! It's scary as hell sometimes!!!

  • I just had a SCAREGASM !!

    I LOVE BIOSHOCK

  • "Harness The Flame, Harness The Mist"

  • two words.... the Saturnine...

  • bad memories of crapping my pants being inspired by the music

  • this is one of the creepiest soundtracks of bioshock awesome the first encounter with the houdini splicer

  • The cello adds that deep and forboding sound, sad too.

Like something terrible has happened, and you're yet to find it, lying on the ground.

    Don't turn around, Jack.

    Would you kindly turn around?

  • why do you keep posting this onto every one of these videos?!!??!?! freakin 12 year old...

  • omg! this music is so scary!

    ...

    I LOVE IT!!!

  • Lost was exactly what i was thinking about!

  • sounds like Lost music meets There will be blood

  • Haha

    so true

  • daaaamn can't wait for bioshock 2!!!!!!

  • if life had a soundtrack.... this would play when i'd go into my basement

  • Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah, thats funny man hahahah :]

  • Comment removed

  • wtf! u just copied Qwerty0791!!

  • and he might have copied from someone else...

  • hmmm....thats true. but still

  • i don't think it counts as plagerism, though.

  • isnt that for schools only?

  • no.

  • haha!

  • @bud5mac mine too. Mine *looks* like rapture. It's a friggin' mess.

  • @bud5mac You made my day!!

  • @bud5mac lol some wierd things growing down there?

  • @bud5mac nice

  • @bud5mac The sad thing is I have loads of different wordless creepy music for different ocassions usually for when i see ugly people when a bully walks up to me and when i walk in creepy places also combat music haha XD

  • @bud5mac This would play under my bed, and the Star Trek 6 ending credits would be for when I`m excited

  • even when i know that a splicer covered in plaster is pretending to be a statue i still get jump when they attack me.

  • i remember walking through Arcadia's woods seeing a shadow dissapear and hearing a man laughing( in a evil way) then i see a mask, a wooden one i approach it and hear something then i see a figures shadow on the wall in front of me then i turn around....ARGH!!! houdini splicer lol great moment and this music makes it fucking creepy.

  • I hate the spider splicers that were covered in plaster so you couldn't hear them coming! So fuckin creepy...

  • Houdini splicers weren't that bad...their attack is easy to dodge and a single hit from the grenade launcher knocks them flat. and you can always shock them or use telekenisis to throw a table at them or something.

  • I HATE HOUDINI SPLICERS

what, do they like explode or something?

  • they teleport.

  • houdini splicers arn't that bad actualy, they always make me laugh.

  • -Hammering the splicer with the machine gun-

    DIIIIEEE MOTHER...

    -POOF!!!-

    WHAT THE FUCK?!

  • I liked taking pictures of houdini splicers, Invisablity FTW :)

  • i hated the houdini splicers...

  • i hated that level lol
