If you buy the ps3 version and then download it on the pc by using that copy, can you play against someone else who is using your downloaded copy while you are using the ps3? Or does steam only let you use the pc version of portal 2 while using the same steam account that you would be using on the ps3, because that might make it impossible.

i'm glad they announced that every new copy of the ps3 edition of portal 2 will come with a steam copy of the game, since not only do i not have to worry about rebuying the game on steam once i upgrade to a more powerful gaming pc, but it also shows valve was telling the truth when they said the ps3 version would be the best console version of the game. can't wait to play it. just wish the ps3 version would support kb/m. if not i'll hope it works well with the penguin united eagle eye.
