  • Motion is good;]

  • SOMEBODY SLOW MO THE FUCK OUT OF THIS VIDEO PLEASE!!

  • dobre wiazanie :))

  • Jak długa powinna być taśma

    how long should be tape

  • @LiSeKK141 4 metry

  • 2:05secs? and I managed to do it first time round!

bit tight round the middle of the hand, and I guess i forgot to keep the tightness medium, and not high.

    Thank you!

  • ผม like มาก

  • Thanks :)

  • very nice, thank you

  • whats the name of that reusable wrapping?

  • that fuckers got a ring on!!! you cheating bastard!!! :)

  • where can you buy the padding?

  • On every video i go on, if thats martial arts, music, short clips of shows on tv.. etc etc.. there is always someone kicking off or arguing about somthing showing them selves up here. WHEN A DOG BARKS AT YOU, DONT BARK BACK. do you own thing, & go.

  • what's the name of the song ?

  • There is another way where you pad the knuckle more to protect it from injury :)

  • where do you get extra knuckle wraps

  • LOL, my Everlast wrap isn't enough to do all those wraps. =P

  • @mrjaho15 you can use the ones with loops but just fold the loops as part of padding for the knuckles

  • the muay thai wrap covers till like 2 inches away from your elbow cause they use their arms to block kicks.

  • @snwitzles not when sparring or doing bagwork thats only in fights

  • @nathd12 yea mostly during sparring or bagwork they just aim to protect their nuckles, besides during sparing they only use like 30% power to perfect their technique. So they dont really need full protection.

  • yeah muay thai doesnt wrap like this but it clearly states in the video its for sparring and for the heavy bag not for muay thai

  • DISCULPA NIÑITA O LO QE SEAS, NO ES DE QE YO SEA AMARGADA

PERO SI A ESE QE HACE LOS VIDEOS NO LE GUSTA JUSTIN X

CHIDO X EL NO PERO PS QE TAMBIEN RESPETE Y NO ANDE MOLESTANDO

A LOS MEJORES = JUSTIN XD

  • brill video helped thanks

  • if we are very accurate, real muay thai wraps dont have loop :D

  • How's the name of that band? and where can I buy it?

  • 2 months of practicing Muay Thai. I still don't know how to wrap my hands correctly, I believe, lol.

  • man, are you preparing to kill a dinosaur?

  • thats not even how real thai guys do it loser !!!!!!!

  • fuck after so many times i am still lost , fuck me , i cannot follow a video guide ....

  • Are those 108" wraps?

  • Like it:) 93 from Jerusalem

  • name of the song? :D I LOVE IT :D

  • i did muay thai this is different to my teaches as he would always say to keep ur guard up lool he would hit is with the pad on the back of the head if we diditn it didnt hurt but u knew tht ur doign sumthing wrong lol :D

  • Yes!!! this groove makes me want to dance. Jajajaja

  • I'm actually not training Muay Thai, I train Karate. loool

  • i am using this method to wrap!

  • มวยไทย ไม่ได้ดีที่ตรงมาพันมือหรอกครับ ^ ^

  • Ρing finger not once ever. Ιrrelevant ?

  • Arguments over the race of the instructor aside, this was easier to follow than the that other video with the Thai coach by Turtlepress.

  • You need good training and positive advise to be a good fighter, not insults.Insults doesn't get you shit.

  • @disputionOFdeathkeep It really depends on what the intent of the insult is and how it's done. It does toughen you up so you don't fall for someone elses shit. It really depends on the type of student you have. Good training and positive advise only do so much. Sometimes people don't take the positive advice or the person giving it seriously. I'd rather have straight truth than have a coach coddle me. I want to really earn my bad assness. Not paycheck it

  • im starting muay thai classes next year my cousin taught me a few things like wrapping your hands and teaching me some kicks but when i practice fighting i dont use those fancy ones you have i just get to pads and medical bandages they work fine so far

  • annoying music

  • THE NAME OF THE FUCKING BACKROUND SONG! PLEASE X_X

  • He doesnt done that with his ring finger

  • เยี่ยม

  • are these 108" or 180"? probably 180" but i just wanted to make sure

  • @survarmi maybe because watching something on tv like muay thai and just deciding to do it and then cry about your teacher being a dick means that you are a fagget and you are a little wuss who isnt cut out for a commitment like muai thai? its a mean sport. if you cant handle the mean words.. what makes you think you can take a kick? or even training?ever thought about that? go back to xbox. queer

  • very good !

  • Bueno antes de nada kitaros el anillo,no como el tio ke lo lleva puesto y puede hacer muxo daño a alguien y sobre todo a el mismo...

  • I gonna try Muay thai thanks for this awesome video.

  • Tks for this vid. There are many methods to wrap the fists & wrists. To learn something extra is to equipped with more knowledge. Excellent vid. I just clicked on the 'Like' button.

  • im new to muay thai anyone got some advice cause these videos have really helped

  • @twiheart951 Train as much as you can. For someone new to any martial art, you want to work on overall fitness and flexibility. Workout, lift weights, run, jog, do cardio workouts, yoga, and similar things to improve your overall physical abilities. Every time you learn something new, practice it. When training first do the basics to warm up, stretch, do some pushups, chinups, squats, then start getting into more advanced stuff and remember, the more you practice the better you will be.

  • sounds like a cool remix when you repeat things... lol

  • so... is this the proper way to wrap? i know there's other ways. but, is this way suitable so i don't fuck up my hand when training or working out?

  • then whats the way to wrap for a fight?

  • Fuck off

  • another way how to do it

  • just a question. Is it a good idea to start of with just kick boxing or can you already come into muay thai without ever done any fighting sports (knowing judo and a little jiu jitsu)

And is it regular that you will have to do competitions or is it also able to stay at the gym if you would like to only improve yourself?

    thanks for the good anwers.

  • @nederbassie I started muay thai a while ago, and didnt do any full contact sport either. (1year judo only). Where I practice there are 2 groups during the training, beginners, pros. But i went to a place where they didnt have sepperate groups. I think if you practice with people who are at your age they wont try to hurt you while practicing moves. So you can start with muay thay.

  • @nixon0hungary

thanks alot for your anwer. I have to wait to I'm having some problem with my frontarm till my elbows. i overtrained/stretched the place where my muscles connect to my elbow. So i'am out of bussines for some day.

At the moment a 10 hour training in fitness 4 days a week.

  • @nederbassie it is entirely your own choice if u want to participate in competetions and fights, many people who train combat sports do it for fitness and conditioning and to learn how to defend themselves and they hav no interest in fighting in competitions, dont be pressured into fighting if u dont want too..

  • which the right size to roll between your fingers? I tried it with a bandage and not getting to 5cmx300cm!

  • what is the song ?

  • When I trained in Japan the Master would crack us with a stick, and make us do knuckle push ups on the hot parking lot; shouting "I'm not a girl". We also ran in knee deep water on the beach for 15mins in the winter. Not to mention all the punches and throws we received. But once you were accepted, there was nothing the guy wouldn't do for you. Quote; "if you can't handle a little heat in the DoJo how can you handle a fire in the street".

  • how long is his wraps cuz i got 180 and its not enough to wrap da way he is wraping!!??? and i think 180 is da longet one u can get lol

  • thx I like it

  • i dont do muay thai, but im interested in covering my fists when i throw my punches.so where do i get the whatever it's made of O_o?

  • Comment removed

  • @ProSkilllz i guess thts a good idea...(duh).but my sports shop is right nxt 2 mt tkd place and its the masters wife who owns the place.so she nos everything about us almost(at least the fact we dont do muay thai and therefore wont b needin the wraps).so thnx anyway, ill c wat i cn do

  • i like to actually twist the wrap when i go in between fingers. I think it's more comfortable.

  • Im going to use that music when Im practicing wiping my ass!

  • @king1Malik sweet idea.

  • that music just makes every thing sound so deadly

  • erm, I practice several styles of martial arts, and my mate suggested I use Wraps to spar with him, so I'm curious as to if the wrapping will affect any grappling?

  • if there weren't slo-mo, it would have been a good video.

    thubs down for the "effects"

  • กูหัดตั้งนานไอ้ จนเพื่อนมันเข็กกบาล

  • @wdowws I feel ya bro. Oh wait...

  • song name please ?

  • the magic # is three

  • On my first day they almost killd me XD but i did get the wraps right oh on the second i pwned 50% of the pp there^^

  • what length should the wraps be. i see the 108 to the 180

  • @mibarra122 You want the mexican hand wraps 180 inch. 108 arnt long enouph

  • Very informative I recently used this vid

  • tolol

  • how many metters are your wraps ?

  • i've learned another way of wrapping hands at MT training.quite similar to this one ,however imho a bit better and faster :)

  • lol i go to muai thai and like EVERYONE wraps their hands differently ... some even wrap their left hand in a different way than the right (accordingly to which hand they intent to hit harder with and which they are going to use mostly for defense :p )

  • THIS GUYS IS A FUCKFACE o_O aND the song sounds like a 1998 porno

  • well... shouldnt you take off the ring? FOUL PLAY!!!

  • @nguyendiemphuong1986 u are a fag

  • I went today to do muay thai to have my first lesson and my teacher told me I´m like a little child because I don´t know to wrap my hands? Personally I think is normal to have problems if you are having your first lesson and you haven´t ever practiced muay thai or contact sport in all your life. What people think about this?

  • @Suvarmi your teacher is a dick, get another school.

  • @Suvarmi

i think muay that is a great art , but it has the most unpleasant , egoic , non sportsman fighters of all the other arts , one thing m.thai fighter proved to me is that they lack respect to fighters of other arts .

i suggest you dont stick with that teacher , he is obviously one of them .

all of the teachers i stuck around with (none was muay that ) treated their students extremely gently (verbally that is ) .

oh i just notice what @suvarmi said , i agree.

  • @ahmednabil, It's not the martial art that makes the fighter, it's the fighter himself, I take Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu, and I respect other martial arts I just prefer those, I've seen many people who take karate, TKD, judo, or other ones that don't respect other arts.

  • @elevat0r123 haahahha stfup you dont realyy understand huh your stupid his telling the truth every mauy thai fighter is like that

  • @darksidejuggernaut, I can't really tell if that was a serious comment or not.

  • @elevat0r123 was not lol haahaha lmao XD

  • @darksidejuggernaut, Lol alright man thanks for clarifying. xD

  • @elevat0r123 ight XD

  • @Suvarmi He seem like a douche if he knew you never trained before.

  • @Suvarmi On my first lesson they were the complete opposite! They were so easy going even the experienced fighters had patients with me. Your teacher sounds like the type of person to criticise everything.

  • @Suvarmi your trainer is a fucking douchebag

  • Comment removed

  • @ProSkilllz Exactly! Bud saying that when someone doesnt know how to wrap hes hands is a little weird :p

  • @ProSkilllz So true!!!

  • @ProSkilllz i understand what your saying but it's a negative way to go about things... If an instructor keeps sending that negative energy out it will have (on alot of ppl, not everyone) a bad affect... I don't care if you call me whatever you want but POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT is the way to push someone to a higher level mentally and physically..

  • @ProSkilllz I believe there is, or should be a balance of respect, and pushing. But negative reinforcement does nothing for me. Calling me names does nothing, it makes me want to stop and give money to someone else. Now, pushing me by reminding me 'Come on! You're stronger than this!' or there about, thats what does it for me, but again, thats just me personally. No disrespect. Good luck in your training!

  • @ProSkilllz i lik tht man

  • @Suvarmi mate iv been doing muay thai and boxing for a while, and i can never wrap my own hands aswell as my instructor.....it took me a while to get half decent at it, your instructor is eaither a dick or just winding you up....iv also found that every one has there own ways of wrapping many different ways....

  • @Suvarmi Your muay thai teacher does not have the WAY of the warrior

  • @Suvarmi

I am a female and my very first muay thai lesson is in 2 days,I do not have ANY experience in ANY kind of martial arts. Is it going to kill me? Will I survive it?Any piece of advice? I do not think I want to fight with anyone, the instructor wrote me an email saying it is not compulsory to fight with anybody if I have fear of injuries-of course I have!Anybody can write me any tips.Thanks!!!:-))))

  • @wannaknowit

Of course you'll survive! Don't do any sparring with other people if you don't feel like doing it, but I suggest to try it out anyway(to get rid of that fear) and tell your opponent that you're new and that you don't want him to apply force when hitting you(so you hit each other, but not with full weight). If he/she doesn't respect that request, you just stop fighting him/her.

Wear shin protection, boxing gloves(the big ones, not the small ones for bag practice!) and a teeth guard.

  • @lifeisdigital

Thanks very much for the advice!!!They are very useful:-)How long have you been doing MT?

  • @wannaknowit

You're welcome. I only just started and I'm enjoying it a lot. If you're scared to hurt yourself, you could buy some teeth guards and a wrap for your wrists. They are very cheap(about 15 euro for teeth guards and about 10 euro for the wraps), but offer good protection. You can probably borrow some shin protection and boxing gloves from your dojo/gym, but probably not teeth guards/wrist wraps.

  • @lifeisdigital

My appreciation for the advice again,I'll surely take them into consideration!!!:-))))

    Have a nice day!

  • @Suvarmi

Everyone is "like a little child" when he learns to do something completely new and there is nothing wrong with that. He might not have meant it in a negative way. If he meant it in a derogatory way, then he has no clue how to motivate people (read: no clue about how to teach).

  • @Suvarmi that's called mind games, dont worry, your trainer just wants you to improve :)

  • @Suvarmi who cares... he had a bad day..

  • @Suvarmi the guy who said that might have just said it to "break your balls" a little bit. You know, to test and see if you don't come back? Toughen you up etc. Playground big boy rules n shit. Keep at it man, get back in there

  • @Suvarmi i think ur like a little child.

  • @Suvarmi Its a combat sport :D and muay thai happens to be a harder sport meant to make tougher people. Respond by learning the right way, and training hard and properly. Good teachers who will teach you the real practical stuff will not coddle, nor should they. There are some valuable lessons to be learned from that one statement if you want to learn them.

  • @Suvarmi

Teachers in contact sports like to joke around

don't take that one too much into heart :)

    he/she was just kidding

  • @Suvarmi

DONT WORRY!! this is normal at first, i noticed you posted this 2 months ago, by now you should be a pro wrapping your hands. i was gonna say to take them home and practice. there are many ways of wrapping your hands depending on what sort of part you like to protect the most. lets say your have a slight wrist injury then you want to wrap more on the wrists, same applies for knuckles. you can also add padding on your knuckles before applying the wrap. hope this helps!!

  • @Suvarmi suck it up

  • @Suvarmi

They just say that so you will get some discipline!

When your called al little kid you want to leanr how to put on you wrapping

  • @Suvarmi Haha man, don´t take it personal....I´m pretty sure he says it just to tease you a bit, or like ProSkillz said, provoke you to prove him wrong.....I train Krav Maga, and some of the teachers there can be pretty harsh sometimes as well "You can´t do it that way! You look f**ked up!!" etcetc, I know their intention is for me to get better, so I just laugh it off (cause I really just find it funny), and then I try to correct the technique so he won´t say it again :P

  • @Suvarmi

ATLEAST your open minded... If you wernt I wouldnt be reading your plead for help. But honestly you are a little child because you dont know how to deal with your own problems. I wouldnt call it a problem though... In my opinion i wish an instructor could pay attention to me like that. It sucks already being respected when you want to be stronger.

  • @Suvarmi just the same as when my bjj coach said "tie your belt properly" and slapped me in the face. then the best of the trainers came in and helped me instead of slappin me.. Some people are shits and thats just how it is I guess..

  • @Suvarmi he's a hardcore elitist.

  • @Suvarmi well either way if it was your 1st lesson, he deff. can go 2 way's he can talk smack about you, so you get your spirit up and try and learn it as fast as possible on your own, if your the kind of person. But since a lot of people aren't, it's best the teacher help's the begginers by showing them thing's with out complaining and just shows them how to do it. Later like after a month or two he could get though and work you like a dog :D

  • @Suvarmi Dude,I think that your teacher is an ASS.I'm in MMA training and every one there is respectful especially my trainers. You are paying him to teach you Muay Thai, NOT to insult you.If I where you I would take my money and look for a different Muay Thai trainer. And don't listen to the idiots that say that you got to take shit from people to be tough,I ought to know because I'm pretty damn tough if do say so myself and I don't take shit from no one.Good luck in your training.

  • @disputionOFdeathkeep it doesnt have to mean the teacher is an ass..... the teacher probably wants the student to prove him wrong, and also taking "shit" from ur trainer is a form of discipline..... like in the army ;P i agree that there should be respect but there should also be discipline

  • Comment removed

  • @disputionOFdeathkeep you need some form of discipline to be a good fighter

  • @disputionOFdeathkeep I agree with you. ext. real muay thai sparring is very technigue and not so much of a power.

  • @disputionOFdeathkeep I agree. You can easily push someone above his former threshold without abusing him. I have trained in Thailand for a long time and people have been incredibly nice to me. My trainers have been very honest, very straigthforward, simply nice and gentle people. THey have almost killed me in training sometimes due to the extreme demands. But you just can't refuse a nice thai trainer gently telling you to "KICK, okay, nice, one more! very nice, one more! :D

  • @Shaolos And that is exactly the kind of positive training I am talking about.

  • @Suvarmi He is just abusing you. It has nothing to do with training. Most self-defense instructors are highly enraged and violent individuals and are unstable and disturbed.

  • @Suvarmi go somewhere else or STFU and trainyourself

  • @Suvarmi not bad for a sissy

  • dis is helpful cos im a muay thai kickboxer and i still dunno how to wrap my hands :P

  • @jfotls

if you compete you would learn , i learnt on my first competetion.

  • cool :D

  • What size wraps?

  • @Cr3581

    I did say around 108'' to 180''

for myself I use 170'' and it's just enough

  • lmao! I agree with TimeLapse! loL! haha!

  • Why is this wrapping style not for a fight?

  • @tor4g fight wraps are done using gauze and medical tape, not a reusable cotton/elastic wrap. athletic commissions have particular standards for combat sports, with different standards for different sports (i.e. MMA will have an open palm to not hinder grappling, while boxing/kickboxing/muay thai don't need an open palm since they don't grapple.

  • Its very difficult to do xD

  • Holy shit...my head just exploded

  • Umm, taking off that ring is way more effective than putting on that wrapping stuff!

  • @yairoka he is just doing a video not figthing so why does the ring matter so much to all of you jesus fing christ!

  • how long the bandage have to be?3m or longer?

  • This was a great video,thanks guys!

  • suck!!!

  • good example

  • Fuck, I ran out of bandage!

  • how long are the wraps

  • to fast

  • @InThaBronx Use the pause button:)

  • preparing! ...2 see a Real Karate Kid True Story in the old ways of The Karate Kid Movies- have a look at a young girl's journey who overcame her disabilities through the teachings and discipline of martial arts- she's 10 yrs old Google Monique Sciberras (looking for boxing title fight 28kgs) - Supeforce

  • i dont really know why ppl are wrapping it between fingers :O all i use hand wraps for is just to keep my wrist and palm tight
