@flautinhaibc Because his style is extremely interesting and hard to find these days, kind of a mix of classic rock, raggae, and funk. I'm not saying he is the best, but his style just makes the Chili Peppers who they are. I am sad to see him leave but this new guy is a skilled player as well. Also, Hendrix, and all other great guitarists have their mess ups on stage, shit happens, fingers can slip and whatnot. John's ability to recover makes him that much more of a great musician.
