Yes, I did play it, and I promptly returned it. You hold down one button and jump occasionally, against bumbling enemies who have no real way of fighting back. That's not what I call a good game, and it's a shoddy excuse for a Sonic game. Any 3D Sonic game so far has been terrible.

How about you learn to read? I never said that the game was bad. I said that the night levels were horrible. Just because I like Sonic 3 & Knuckles more than this doesn't mean that this game is bad.

My sole reason to keep playing this game is that I really really like the day levels, they're so fun and awesome. It's a bit like Assassin's Creed was for me, I despised the dull/repetitive gameplay-mechanics but at the same time I loved the story so I kept playing through the meaningless side-missions just to see the ending and I felt that it was worth it.

No game is perfect.

I am getting sick of what SEGA is doing. They make amazing Sonic levels, like we asked them. Then they give us super fast speed! Awesome!!! Then they give us....a wherehog???? Seriously. You make the best Sonic game, and make the game worse!!!! I swear, SEGA is trying to self destruct and destroy everything we love about the blue speedster. =(

I haven't played a Sonic game since Sonic 3D Blast on the Saturn. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure I haven't beaten a Sonic game period. That needs to change. <_<
