I think that Baldwin was in those movies before he became a born-again Christian. Personally, I have no problem if pot is legalized. However, it's a complex issue. Law enforcement is against doing that because they reason that it will lead to more use of illicit, hard drugs. BTW, Ron Paul's son Rand is against legalizing marijuana, and the voters of the very liberal state of California voted to keep it illegal.

Also, Marijuana is not a gateway drug. ITS NOT! It just happens to be an illegal drug. When you are around people who use and or sell one type of illegal drug, chances are you will be exposed to other illegal drugs that they have and/or sell. Then there are cases of weed being tainted with illegal drugs on the street. If it was legalized, you would buy it from the store and there would be no tainting, no hard drugs around it, and it would be safe. Violence would cease.
