  • As for other things where I was like "WHY DIDN'T THEY DO THIS?!" one of them I thought of was why not bring in some new bad guys? Moblins, Bokoblins, Deku Babas and all that are great, a classic asset, but Ghirahim calls himself the demon LORD. Why not demon underlings? Rabid dogs? Snakes that would jump out of trees and bite you. Poison? So you always had to carry an antidote? There were SO many places they could have expanded through Ghirahim alone--and that's not counting the other characters

  • One of the things I disliked most about SS was their lack of variety. I grew up on OOT, which had Tree, Cavern, Belly of a Fish, Forest, Volcano, Ice, Water, Shadow, and Desert not to mention Hyrule Feild, Castle, and Romani Ranch. Then I got to SS and was like 'THAT'S IT?!' It so funny you mentioned Ghirahim's Snowy Castle. I wrote a fanfiction recently where Ghirahim's castle WAS in a mountain called snowpeak. The Yeti's Mansion in TP was totally epic, and I wanted to see it again. Hold on...

  • I would have loved to see a snow and ice location.

  • To start off, I definitely feel like your ideas sound like they would have been awesome as well as reasonable. Especially in a game like Skyward Sword where combat, visuals, and puzzling dungeons where emphasized. Another thing I felt they should have added to was the sky, more specifically Thunderhead. I feel like it didn't live up to it's complete potential.

  • I love both your ideas especially the Ghirahims mansion idea it would be like Fire Eldin next to a snowy mountain.

Maybe if there was a snowy mansion level what if it had that similar creepy ways of the ancient cistern.

  • I like swordfights but Im more of the idea that either the boss or the mini-boss/es should only be possible to defeat with the temple item. Many boss fights uses the temple item to stun or at least give an opportunity t take on the boss with your sword. Thats the traditional zelda boss fight to me.

  • Any game can have always have had more. Each and everyone of them. However I do agree the feeling of potential Skyward Sword had is there. When I finished the game I was like "Wait... it's over??!". But that was because I pretty much didn't want it to end... I am pretty sure they are saving ideas for another "1:1" swordplay Zelda game, or perhaps not even a Zelda. The thing I wanted the most was more weapon wielding enemies, specifically Darknuts and Iron Knuckles (even if they make no sense)

  • Ghirahims house would be so cool. It would probably be like the Well and Shadow Temple from OoT.

  • What Fi says about the captain when you beat him seams a bit like he isn't done with.

  • I think why Nintendo didn't put volvagia in skyward sword because their saving him for a Zelda game in between ocarina of time and skyward sword because of the legend of the hero's hammer in ocarina of time.

  • I agree on both of your ideas, especially the one of the snowy mansion... :)

One of my ideas is that they should've made a dungeon inside Levias, just like they did with Jabu Jabu from OoT. That would've filled up the little lack of dungeons and it would've also be nostalgic to OoT fans... :)

  • I don't understand why they built up Scervo's character, saying he was so

evil and bad, then only give him mini boss status

  • I agree with your ideas Axle. I would have Loved to see Volvagia as Fire Sanctuary boss. it could have explained his backstory a little more and how he came to be in OoT. I would have liked to see a Snowpeak area as well. and a Scervo rematch would have been fun. I also think that maybe you should have gotten the Hylian Shield in game rather than just in the Boss Rush Mode. and maybe have a couple other upgrades like Clawshots extend Longer or more than one pipe on the Gust Bellows.

  • I mean yeah it would be awesome to put Volvagia in the Fire Sanctuary and Ghirahim in a snowy province but I mean that would kinda destroy the fact that Eldin the Fire Dragon is in the Game. Even though he didn't do much to start with...

  • Those are great ideas Axle. I would have very much enjoyed seeing snowpeak in SS. It was my favorite dungeon/area from TP. The only gripe I had about SS was how few areas there were, so that would be a welcome addition. :)

  • I have no complaints on Skyward Sword. It's as close to perfect as a game can be. I keep hearing this with some of the Zelda fans "SS is too short, or they could've done more with the islands to explore on your loftwing, and they missed opportunities for (insert here)". I honestly can't think of one thing I would want to add or change.

  • @TheOathtoOrder I agree with you on most of your opinions. the game was made to be 50-100+ hours long which I believe makes it the longest Zelda game ever. I do think that they could have done more with the Islands in the Sky and I can see where some people would say an opportunity was missed.

  • I was so hoping to see a Snowpeak-like area and quite disappointed when I didn't find one. A snowy base for Ghirahim would've been awesome. There are a lot of things they probably coulda shoulda done but in the end decisions have to be made about what ideas stay or go. It's easy for us to say they should have done this or that but you have to draw the line somewhere. If not would we STILL be waiting for Skyward Sword's release?

  • I think that the volcano summit should slowly get colder and colder the further you progress into it because the magic of the landscape pushes all of the heat on on one side and the cold on the other. I don't think it would be like Girahim's retreat, but more like a base. It would have been fun having to get a secret code (like during the quest for Nayru's pearl in Wind Waker) from a mini boss of the area or something.

  • @runnningwithsissors or just have a 2nd taller mountain/ mountain range that gets colder and Snowier as you go up. and have Link freeze and lose health like he would in certain parts of Earth Temple and Fire Sanctuary without a special item. I agree that it would be more like Ghirahims or Demises HQ where they do all there plotting and whatever.

  • I think they could have expanded on the whole returning to Skyview Temple section a little more. Maybe you could have used the Water Dragon's scale to open up a secret pathway you were unable to access previously, and from there enter a true forest themed mini dungeon of sorts, since the game severely lacked one. Great ideas though, Axle. Ghirahim never really fit the Fire Sanctuary anyways.

  • I agree it was odd how there were two fire themed dungeons, two time and sand themed dungeons, and yet no snow or forest themed.

  • I didn't like how you fight Ghirahim three times, it was essentially the same fight each time.

  • Those ideas would have been really awesome. But if I fought Tentalus some where other then a ship, I don't think it would have been as exciting. Just the whole fact the ship was under attack and you were running around the ship while it was shaking and being flooded was very exciting to me. But maybe they could have just done the same sort of thing but with Scervo. All in all those were actually really cool ideas. :D

  • jesus is that you??.. wow!!:. please to meet you hahahaha!

  • On the subject of not necessary complaints, but new ideas, I had a couple of my own as well:

I loved the sandship, but imagine an airship. A giant ship that soars in the sky would've been amazing in this game. Added to that, with the part where all your items are taken away in Eldin, why not instead make this part of the ship/pirate chapter? To me, pirates taking all your weapons and throwing you in a cell seems a lot more fitting than Bokoblins in Eldin.

  • Yeah I wanted volvagia to be in skyward sword!!! Cause in oot, one of the gorons says that volvagia is an ancient dragon that has re awakened, but I once thought that volvagia could have once been good, but then was cursed by something! Could volvagia have been the fire dragon???

  • @thecallumparry I agree. the non Canon Manga actually says that Volvagia was actually Links friend at one time cause he hatched him from an egg I believe then he turned evil from loneliness or something. it would have made some sense of him being the boss because of the Dragon Drawings and such which I dont believe should have applied to Eldin.

  • I'm going to have to go back to Snowpeak Ruins and investigate now. One thing I really like about the Zelda series is that there are always new things to discover. I really liked your idea about it being Ghirahim's hideout. As for Tentalus, I have to disagree. Scervo was fine where he was to me. He doesn't warrant also being a boss in my opinion. I like Tentalus as is. (I also find those who mock Tentalus for its appearance to be quite annoying, but I'll let it slide since I like your idea.)

  • I love this. But instead of being snowy the climate could have been different similar to Ikana Valley and the Snowpeak Mansion had the look and feel similar to the Stone Tower Temple, that way it's keep with the desert, dry weather themes.

  • I agree completely with you. Fighting Scervo again but with the active Time Stone would have been so much better than Tentalus.

  • I have someof those moments too! One in witch you visit the "Sky View Temple" for the second time and after you unlock the door, a whole army of spiders comes at you and you ahve to fight them all at once!! That would of been bad ass!

  • with all due respect i think these vlog entries would be more entertaining in powerpoint format.

  • I'm one of the few people who actually think that it was a good thing that they didn't include Volvagia as a boss in Fire Sanctuary. I'm more of a gameplay >> story guy so of course I prefer a fight against a rather fast-moving man-sized enemy (Ghirahim) which makes you think a little instead of a huge but slow and ridiculously easy to defeat monster (like Morpheel and to some extent Argorok). Oh, and IMO dragons are very overrated anyway.

  • @bla287 I disagree, I would've loved a dragon boss fight, but this game is fine how it is.

  • @SadoKaden Well of course if it's done right, then I'm also fine with a dragon or big monster, but honestly they've all been the easiest bosses in Zelda games (except maybe in the first one) and most of them went down by the "use the dungeon item to stun a gigantic eye, slash said eye, repeat twice" formula. Imprisoned is an exception from a recent Zelda game though.

  • Video #750

  • I was exspecting volvagia in the fire sactuary aka fire temple but no we had to fight ghriham again. And the reason I was exspecting volvagia in the fire sactuary is because.

Its the fuckin fire temple in ocarina of time.

So there is still room for another game before or right after skyward sword.

  • Scervo was awesome. More of him would have been great. I wish they had a Mini Boss Rush too, I found myself having more problems with them than the regular bosses tbh.

  • i agree i would of loved a snowy area that would of made the game longer and i would have loved to see snow with the skyward artwork

  • my mind is blown...

  • my idea: why didnt they have a connection between link's red loftwing and the red bird on the shield

  • i could barely beat him hen the time shift stone wasnt activated, it would have been IMPOSIBLE!!!!

  • loved Axle's idea for Scervo, how epic would that have been

  • They should have a big hydra boss in the fier sancuary

  • they should have done plenty of things in this game. when I think about it skyward sword isn't as re-playable as the others because it's incredibly linear.

  • I agree with you on both ideas. Specially the Ghirahim one! I was really hoping to see where Ghirahim goes off to while Link takes care of everything else. Like you said snow would of looked gorgeous in Skyward sword.

  • i like the scervo idea, but what if tentalus did pop up but scervo killed it in a single slice and he makes a lil speech and then the battle begins

  • @brother1997 or have it kinda like the Ancient Cistern Boss where Scervo commands and controls Tentalus you beat Tentalus then the 2nd phase would be fighting an enraged Scervo because you killed his monster.

  • But those ideas already existed, the mansion in TP and the octopus in the overworld of winderwaker... But yeah I felt like it needed volvagia in the fire temple and in Oot the gorons talked about some big ancient monster ressurected by Ganon that once was this terrible man eating dragon but it seems no origin has been made for it in skyward sword unless the elemental dragon wouldve gone nuts after the ages

  • @darkchamberofdark666 When you fight scaldera in the earth temple I always kinda figured that volvagia was the skeleton that was on the ceiling in the boss area

  • @darkchamberofdark666 Yeah, could've been the Fire Dragon I suppose. I would personally have rather killed the elemental dragons that listen to their shit.

  • One thing I didn't like about skyward sword is that you didn't get to explore the provinces with villages and such. Like in ocarina - death mountain had the gorons to visit, then you had the zora's etc.. I wish we could of done something similar in skyward sword.

  • Ya I have an idea for future Zelda games... No more silent realms!!! They scare me, even more that Ghirahim! But I totally agree with the hideout idea, that would be cool.

  • the Ghirahim's Mansion would have bin SOOOOOOOO cool ghirahim is an amzing boss and i do like fiting him but yes if he had his own Mansion/dungeon all made like for him it would had bin soooooooo cool.go all the way thow it then meet Ghirahim who could be shocked you found him lol that would be funny

  • please no more ice levels ): they are REALLY bad

  • My thoughts about Scervo are the same. On my first playthrough, I expected the boss of the Sand Ship to be Scervo from the past, in his prime, rather than his old, run down present self. Still kinda wish Nintendo did that instead of what we ended up getting. :P

  • I was so disappointed when I realized that Volvagia wasn't in the game. They had all those dragon-statues in the Earth Temple and symbols on the walls and everything, hyping me up for a fight or at least see Volvagia in the game before he was resurrected in Ocarina of Time. I mean...why wouldn't they include him after having all these symbols etc. that probably made everyone think he would be in the game?

  • i was kinda disappointing with the imprisoned fights. I wish that each time he escaped he was in a different form, not just the monster thing they had with added features. It was kinda repetitive. Also i would of liked to see the area with the "oocoos" be in the game. Also the seconed Ghirahim match i think should of not been the boss. I think he should of had some firery Gollum or giant statue covered in flames fighting along side him.

  • @DarkAdvenger9 I like your idea. like in the Sacred Grove battle he is the whale monster thing then when you fight him again he is a little more human and then the 3rd battle is almost completely human.

  • I think sky keep should have had a boss. I was really exited when I first entered it and was anticipating a boss fight near the end after fighting the mini boss then I was disappointed cause there wasn't one. It could have been similar to a guardian protecting the triforce a battle similar to ghirahim's but not with Girahim himself maybe an ancient guardian who was placed there when skyloft was first placed in the sky.

  • Could have (where you fought girahim in the FS) a huge statue of a dragon (Volvagia) that Girahim awakens, and at the end of the fight you could have had Volvagia burn up and get consumed by a bed of lava, which would lead nicely to how his battle in OoT starts.

  • I think that Tentalus could be a underwater and overworld boss and Girahim could have been in Sky Keep looking for the Triforce after realising that the Triforce is what Demise needs for complete control so he was the boss of Sky Keep instead of in the Fire Sancuary and he had 2 pieces of the Triforce and you had 1 so you had to beat him to get the other 2 pieces.

  • lol at "la-nay-roo"

  • i feel the same way about tentalus. i beat the dungeon, and was rewarded with... a giant, generic, squid boss. it was fun but... it was just a giant generic squid monster.

  • i kinda dont like zelda games like their amazing and all but i explored a dried up lakebed and now i feel like instead of playing links adventures have your own get off the wii and get yo ass into the forest.

  • Why didn't they have a direct warp system? Most tedious traveling ever.

  • @Whitesun1047

    Wind Waker. 'nuff said.

    ~ Caleb

  • Great ideas.

The only real "Whyyy" moment for me was flying though the sky... The freaking. Empty. Sky. The goddess cubes don't count.

  • Scervo Idea, well. Somewhat agree. Scervo was a good mini-boss, but not a final boss. But I do agree Tentalus was....weird. The final boss for The Sand Sea should've been... Well, possibly Scervo on a Sea Dragon? Like, maybe shooting the TimeShift stone while the dragon was near to make it turn into bones and Scervo would fall and you would hurt him. Then he'd hit the stone again somehow and the cycle would repeat?

I haven't gotten to the Fire Sanctuary quite yet, although. A snowy mansion?

  • @BannedStories101

SUPER EPIC AWESOME! Who wouldn't like that? The snow, like you said would look utterly beautiful. Ice Keese, Frigiards...or whatever they're called. slippery floors. A dungeon that involved....hmmm... defrosting the mansion? Or something super clever? Man, I would love that! The mini-boss could also be something related to Blizzeta in TP, or maybe Twinrova when they were young? Creepy.... Not quite sure! But that would definitely be amazing!

  • @BannedStories101

Oh and another Idea. I haven't actually finished the game yet so I'm not exactly sure?

Maybe when the games over... Skyloft will come back down to earth. Then wherever it lands (which I presume is in the middle of the map) would be a whole new region and an extra dungeon? I really think the Harp should've had more uses. Like in Ocarina of Time. Maybe just warp songs :P I'm not sure. Lake Floria should've been used more. As in the actual Lake. Yep thats it. Thanks for reading!

  • Cool ideas. I would have loved a snowy place. I especially like the scervo idea. Very creative.

  • All awesome ideas. And yeah I was expecting volvagia to be somewhere in the game. :/

  • Well for one thing, how could snowpeak be adjacent to eldin volcano? In TP, they're opposite sides of the map. Your scervo idea was really neat though

  • @Kupsacker change the map slightly so that at that time there was a mountain range that went across that area and one of those mountains was Snowpeak

  • i love your ideas i am a big fan

  • Those are great ideas. I especially like the thought of Ghirahim's Mansion. That would've been my favorite part of the game, no question. I think what really bothered me, though, was the lack of a real overworld. Easily, one of my favorite things about Zelda games is getting to explore these vast fantasy worlds. I just couldn't shake this claustrophobic feeling throughout the game. It's such a key thing to me that it almost felt like Nintendo forgot to include Link.

  • totally TOTALLY agree with the scervo thing... that is a masterful idea!

  • I think I would have enjoyed it if you fought Scervo again just because he was really challenging, but the main idea I liked in this video is the Snowy Mansion. Just little references like that to the other games make me so happy for some reason, and they really needed a change of mood at least once from the basic Fire, Desert, Forest, Sky, Water. Snow would have looked epic and beautiful in this game, and one of the drawbacks from Skyward sword I think is it didn't have scary parts. Imho.

  • I have to say this... Tentalus was a girl, she had breasts and long hair... she was a girl!

  • Comment removed

  • I kinda wanted to see the past versions of more areas in the overworld in general. You go through the Gate of Time, but it really only gives you the 'past' versions of the sealed temple and the sealed grounds; both of which were pretty much exactly the same.

I wanted to see the aftermath of this epic battle they talk about in the backstory.

  • For me, the biggest missed opportunity was that the opening animation showed 7 demons, including Ghirahim and Demise. I REALLY wanted Nintendo to introduce those other demons, if not this game than maybe as that evil force mentioned in the backstory of The Minish Cap or Twilight Princess, which could have been the same thing.

  • You should work for Nintendo.

  • @DRBUCKL3Y Agreed 100%.

  • @DRBUCKL3Y The Zelda series would become 1,000 times better than it already is if he worked for Nintendo. I completely agree.

  • I think they should've played the temple of time music when u went through the time gate in the Sealed Grounds to the past.

  • yes you are aaaammmmaaazzziiinnngglllyyy correct except that you do refight scervo in sky keep and ghirihim trys to stop you from getting the third flame

  • Girrahimes holiday retreat in snowpeak

  • I agree with your ideas.

I think there should have been a "darker" temple in the game, sort of like the shadow temple.

  • darknuts definatly. in a game made up of swordplay, why did they not include the best sword enemy/miniboss ever?

  • You know what your idea reminds me of, Hailfire Peaks from Banjo Tooie

  • @Beninator3 I was about to say that there would be no place for a snow section until you reminded me of Hailfire Peaks from Banjo Tooie.

  • Race against The Running Man's ancestor in the sky.

  • Y DUN THA DU THIS?=Speed up text, skip ALL scenes in Hero Mode, enemies with brains, not fight Imprisoned and Ghirahim 3 times, just 2, Fi not be obnoxiously annoyingly obvious, Demise be a challenge, not have Impa be a Bchit after the 2nd dungeon, have more than 7 islands to do anything on in the sky, not have Kikwis go useless, not reuse the Forest Temple and include annoying Mogma, and make the sprint wireless meter longer.

  • i think u should just go and work for nintendo i mean look you have like alot of these awesome ideas that would make an epic zelda game :D

  • Dark Link

  • Yeah I thought there were a lot of things that could have been different about skyward sword. For one why was there no surface overworld where you could travel from place to place on foot that made no sense to me. If you think about it there is no reason at all why you couldn't have traveled on foot or on horseback and go places on the bird. Another thing I had a problem with was that I thought it should have connected more with ocarina of time I mean they were selling the game as a prequel to

  • My friend and I were having the same discussion about Scervo, I think it would have been a way better fight for a final boss if he were in his prime.

  • 4:46 music= Snowpeak Ruins

  • I love The Sandship, I wish they could've used it more after you beat the boss. Like have the robots restore it and turn it into an area where you could do a side quest.

  • I absolutely love both of those ideas. I can really see the animations and cutscenes they could use for the Scervo rematch as well. Oh, I want to see that happen!

  • a scervo and timeshift stone thing would have been pretty cool

  • I would have much rather had a snow temple instead of the Fire Sanctuary, I understand due to the 3 worlds that had to make it fire, but Ghiriham was the boss of the Fire Sanctuary, so a snow temple would have been better then the Fire Sanctuary.

  • wow come to think of it the game couldv'e had two extra regions:water an snowy.

  • @ipwnganondorf well the Lake Floria thing covers the water region.

  • ooooooohhh i just had an idea. when you get to the boss room in fire sanctuary, ghirahim gives his little speech about finding the 2nd gate of time, then summons volvagia or some other fiery boss, and says he's going to his mansion to prepare and whatnot, then runs off. you defeat the boss and then go to snowpeak after ghirahim :)

  • I think I agree with you're Tentalus bit. When I got to the room and the tentacle comes,I was said "Awesome a Kraken battle, this completes the whole pirate adventure theme" but then when I fought him it was just,"Oh,silly looking monster". As for Ghirahims Lair, that sould of been the first thing they made, think about it:Ghirahim is meant to be the sword of Demise,he's literally the right hand man. Plus he calls himself Lord Ghirahim,so we can asume Ghirahim was ruling in the thousand years since

  • @Melkhiordarkblade Demise was sealed,so naturally he should have some sort of castle on the surface. My major gripe with Skyward Sword was that it only had 3 places to go. And made worse by the fact you visit them 3 times each. Eldin Volcano especially, that was bad,I understand going up from the bottom the first run,but in the 2nd AND 3rd? In essence I really just wanted variety and the game didn't give us that. Seeing the map at the beginning got my hopes up,becuase of the sandsea being so big.

  • Yeah, I wish Ghirahim had his own dungeon,

  • I think you should have gone through the fire sanctuary personally I found it short than volvagia is at the end you fight him than a path farther up appears than your ideas come into play

  • I think Tentalus looked like he came from a Mario game. don't really like him. You talking about Volvagia reminds me of the hammer! It was in this game... it should've been a reward at the end of a trading sequence or something. I think that would've been cool.

  • @NinjaApe101 ya man the hammer was so dope in every game it was in

  • I didn't really like that their were two fire themed dungeons. I agree that Skyward Sword desperately needed an snow area.

  • I wouldn't exactly say they needed a snowy mountain, but a rather large snowy area would have been great. They could have easily put the Wii Motion Plus in there for balancing on ice or something. And they could have had a big Mansion at the very end with one of those rather strange looking boss keyholes with a key hidden somewhere in the snow and inside the mansion, you fight Ghirahim and the floor is made entirely out of ice.

I honestly do think that Nintendo lacked on some things in the game.

  • Comment removed

  • Happy 750th video.

    And I can't agree more.

  • agreed none more should be said

  • Yeah, both of those would have been awesome since there were just kind of two fire temples.... there should have been more variety maybe? As you said, an ice temple and ice place instead of just another boring fire area. I don't know. Anyway the thing I kept thinking of was the sky overworld which had little depth and I wish it had been more like wind waker with different people on different islands. Awesome video anyway Axel :)

  • At 5:37.. "gen-EER-ic"? Where are you from??

Anyway, I think they should also make more unconventional architecture in the next Zelda games, not just mixing up distinct climates (snowy and volcano). It doesn't have to be super out there like that one "Dr. Seuss" concept art for Skyloft, but kinda like some of the Final Fantasy games, minus the crazy technology.

  • i wish they could have made tentalus into more of a kraken rather than what he was. it would have been more fitting to me. dont get me wrong, tentalus is my favorite boss, but he couldve been designed better

  • wow, you get into it. I was just wishing that the sling shot used the wii-chuck. just makes sense, no?

  • As for snowpeak...I think you're looking too deeply into stuff like that. I see this kind of thing all the time. Remember the original Zelda Wii picture? There were people going on that one of the rock formations looked like Ganondorf's head and Ganondorf would be showing up.

They had you fight Ghirahim because the gloves or mitts or whatever wouldn't have done well for a normal boss. Sorta like the bug. They just threw him in there as filler.

  • I think Tentelus was needed. It's just how Zelda works, really. Generally, you use the item you got from the dungeon to defeat the boss. I like that. It utilizes the items better. Ghirahim was sorta filler for bosses you couldn't really fight with your item. And I could see a bunch of fans crying "How is Scervo stronger than Demise when he's at full power?!" since you say he's too much to handle with a time shift stone.

Also, killing Volvagia would have screwed up the timeline. A Goron did it.

  • @ErikIng333 About the Volvagia thing... Was that story about the Goron even official or a legend? 'Cause if it was just a legend then they could've easily had a Goron take credit for it.

  • @soridosuneku

Well Darunia and his son seemed confident...AND they were descendants of the hero. AND there's that whole hammer thing...

  • @ErikIng333 Hmm.. Well, didn't Darunia think he beat Volvagia when Link did with a hammer in OoT? I don't see why that couldn't have happened in the past, too, with their ancestors. Also, Link of the Gorons even says it's a myth....but for some reason believes it's true just 'cause he and his pop Darunia are related to this "hero".

  • @soridosuneku

Not that I recall. He never mentioned in the game that he beat Volvagia and his "You've grown up" speech would make one think he acknowledged that Link did it.

  • @ErikIng333 Oh. Well, anyway, I don't think having Link killing Volvagia in the past would screw up the timeline since there's not enough evidence of a Goron killing it, other than Link of the Gorons thinking the myth was true...yadayada what I said in the comment before this one.

  • Oh and by the way, you should work as advisor for Nintendo in the Zelda department. You have good ideas hahahaha! Something else i wanted to touch is that Nintendo should embrace a much darker Legend Of Zelda story, something similar to the darkness felt in the link to the past.. Is all good the the sense of humor and all but, they should try something more serious in my opinion something like the first Twighlight Princess trailer looked like.

  • It was simply to linear in my opinion, i also feel the world was to weird, and the human interaction was to small. Don't get me wrong, it is the best Zelda game with Ocarina of Time... For me is a tie, although i hope they make place to the medieval feel which Ocarina of Time has in the next games to come, i also think Nintendo should tell finally the story of what happens to the Link of Ocarina/Majoras: after his adventure in Termina. He should obviously be a grown up Link by now.

  • i thought tentalus was kinda random and wish there wouldve been somthing different then the fire sanctuary

  • Volvagia wouldn't fit since Volvagia was originally defeated by a Goron, unless you were partnered with a Goron, which would've been interesting. But I agree about Snowpeak.

  • i say changing tunic instead of fire earing and water dragon scale and do a dungeon like the shadow temple kinda like a big version of the basment of the ancient cistern

  • For me Tentalus Was really good fight, i prefered him than the first two versions of Girahim.

  • Skyward Sword has a lot of things wrong with it. Was it a great game? Yes no doubt that it was great but it is not the best. The dungeons were way to simple and there could have been a lot more areas to explore. The bosses were alright. I find Scaldera and Tentalus to be one of the worst looking bosses in any Zelda game. There was such a lack of creativity with those two. I mean cmon a ball with legs and a creature from Monsters Inc. Also what the hell happened with Fishing the best mini game!?

  • i completely agree! Twilight Princess was huge and I wish they stuck more to the TP end of things like changeable tunics, and make the world feel like a living place and TP's item change system was the best too. There were people in Skyloft that didn't really have homes and i don't think there were enough meaningful islands and you probably don't realise but in SS all they grew was pumpkins... i really just wanna be a game designer and make a living Hyrule

  • The Fire/Ice mountain province you were talking about reminds me of Hailfire Peaks from Banjo-Tooie.

  • The game took 5 years. Whatever is in the game is what Nintendo wanted.

Also, Scervo had a relative model in Sky Keep named Dreadfuse. Technically a rematch.

  • I mean the sky temple in tp was huge and took hours to finish and skyview temple was only a couple of rooms and you were finished in 15 min

  • i think they kinda dropped the ball with the bosses in this game. i mean there were some cool ones but there were way to many repeats imo. i mean look at twilight princess it had a unique boss and mini boss for each dungeon while skyward sword wasted 2 dungeons on ghirahim and most of the mini bosses were just fights with common enemies in the game

  • The dungeons could have been longer.

  • @thelinkleonxkennedy2 at least there's a lot more to do in each room though, previously, you could clear some dungeons without visiting certain rooms, and the ones you are required to go into were fairly linear. In Skyward Sword however, there's up to 10 different times you are required to revisit that room, and there are some times you have to to five different actions in a single, certain room. Also, the rooms are larger.

  • @Zeldagigafan90210 but for example in half the dungeons the first key you get leads straight to the sub boss Skyview, Eldin Volcano, Sandship Seriously this game should have been longer it took me 100 hrs to beat twilight princess and It only took me 80 hrs to beat skyward sword then in hero mode i beat it in 40 hrs. and both took me an extra ten hours to do both the sidequests in hero and regular so basically i beat a game with a higher difficultly in half the time it takes to beat tp

  • very true! Nintendo should hire you :)

  • i think they kinda dropped the ball with the vosse

  • I agree!

There should have been an ice dungeon. Maybe it could have been Ghirahim's hideout. The place where enemies are thickest. It would be funny if there were pictures of Ghirahim throughout the place. I hated that the Eldin and Lake regions were so small compared to Lanayru. That region just kept getting bigger and bigger. I think each area should have had two elements like the Faron region.

There were that Lanyru Caves, but they were so small.

  • I agree with all of that. I've had a really hard time replaying it because the first time I kept thinking, "They could do so much more with the story and connections to other titles." The experience was great, I won't lie, but I replay games to learn more about the story.

For other ideas on connections they missed, they could have easily inserted the Interlopers into the story. They wouldn't have necessarily had to have made it a big story point, but it could have even been part of the back…

  • @jahchild1904 …story in the opening of the game. It could have talked about how the huge Demon Tribe was all but vanquished as the gods banished the Demons to a prison devoid of light. That would take two or three sentences and draw a clear connection between Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword without changing a thing in the actual game. In a comment on your article on this, I (Seth Taylor Moore) put down some embellishments which again don't change the game itself, just the story around it.

  • those were two amazing ideas.... i never think like that, i mean like how u do. when i play a game, i just play it for fun, and enjoy it to the fullest of its ability. i never really think about other ideas that wouldve made it better or watever. but ur 2 ideas wouldve been crazy cool

  • I wish there was an ice themed dungeon with a cool icy monster.

  • Nine views?
