All Crystals together have over 900.000 Faces and all Particles together have over 8.000.000 faces. But of course you don't see all of them at once. I'd estimate the facecount doesn't go above 270.000

@FcGrreat Particles. In fact it wasn't even rendered with Blender 2.5. This is still Blender 2.49.
