    He's the one who created the animation between few images

    You can also notice that he took 24 pictures of an horse running... and we're now using 24 pictures per seconds

    thats simply hazard but its nice to know =)

    I imagine when people first saw pictures move...well, I really can't imagine WHAT they thought...

  • Muybridge was the one who showed the fact that horses did not run the way artists had always depicted them- in a "rocking horse" style posture with front legs stretched out and rear legs stretched back at the same time. See the old drawings and paintings before his day and the running horses don't look right, funny how it took one man with a camera to change all that which the eye couldn't see due to the speed.

  • Yeah and now animators like myself look at the photos he took as reference to animate things such as horses and various jumps etc. great man he was!

  • Films were basically speed photography in this day. These photographic strips were taken in the late 1870's.
