  • what's the recipe of your home made conditioner?

  • @thebabyk7 I have a video on it called My Homemade Overnight Conditioner

  • @Dawnyele oh, thanks lemme go check...:-)

  • did you do the detox protocol?

  • @shanir10 Yes I did....I have an updated video talking about it...I only did it for 5 days

  • Do you steam with the Terressentials in your hair or without?

  • @JNixAda77 No because it's a shampoo/hair wash so I never steam with it...not sure if anyone else has...

  • can you use any of these shampoos on transitioning hair?

  • @Purplemuslimlina2010 I'm sure you can...there's nothing harmful in it. I honestly wish I knew about it during my transition because it probably would have helped me keep the 2 textures under control.

  • @Dawnyele thanks , so based on your experience with your texture the lemon fragrance would be perfect for transitioning hair then.

  • @Dawnyele Thats very creative :)

  • Since we have the same hair texture, I took your advice & just ordered my Lemon Terressentials...so excited!!!! Wish me luck!

  • @MsStephanieMoore YAY!!! I hope you like it :)

  • the bow in your hair is cute :) where did u get it from

  • @jAzZyStAr1000 Thank you, I made it from an old shirt I didn't wear anymore...

  • Did you do the detox in the beginning? I'm thinking about using this because he only shampoos that seem sto work and don't dry out my hair are shampoo bars. My hair is 4a/b fine/medium. I'm thinking of trying the lemon. Do you use conditioners or hve you stopped?

  • where did you get your butterfly necklace ?

  • @nappturalachoti It was a gift from Macy's

  • Oh no now I'm tempted to sample them all!!!!

  • @JAMANIJAMANI LOL!!! I didn't do it!

  • i hate the spice. The smell makes me gag omg. I love the mint it smell so good.

  • @everythingsweet84 LOL! The smell was ok to me it was my hair that hated it! My face loves it though! I use it as a mask now...

  • I love your bow. did you make it? I tried the lavender garden and I wasn't crazy about it because it wasn't easy to clean my scalp with it. thanks to this video, i might even try the other ones.

  • @tokiohotelx3er Thank you :) I did make the bow out of an old shirt. I just made an update video trying to explain washing with this hair wash....it takes some work girl but your hair should definitely feel squeaky clean afterward...

  • i tried to use the lavender one, i didnt like it only because it made my hair sooooooo dry...yes my curl was on point but after it dried (theres no water in my hair) my hair was like drrrry

  • @corbinfan15 LOL! I just made an update video about this with the hair wash....not sure if you're sealing in the moisture after you wash with it....if you are and it's still dry then yeah you may not want to continue using it.

  • Do you still feel the same about Left coast lemon? Also how often do you use them?

  • @godsflame2 Absolutely! Right now I only wash with it once a month...

  • Good to know. I'm just getting turned on to it. Not crazy about lavendar because strangely enough the scent gives me nightmares. I was interested in the lemon and the cool mint. Thanks for the review.

  • @churchnazi1 LOL ok then....Well the scents are strong but they don't linger though...

  • @dawnyele. Do u need to use a conditioner after you use this product? My hair is short and natural. Only about 1.5 inches and only want to let it grow to about 4 inches before I trim it down. I never had a perm/texturizer and just recently started to grow it out after years of going to the barber. So I nvr really washed my hair but looking for organic shampoos and good moisturizers since my hair is dry.

  • @vegmeout69 You don't need to honestly but I do just because I like the added moisture...

  • The deoderant does take a few min to dry once applied though. I have been dying to try the lotion if anyone has ried it pleas comment me and let me know how it is.My main concearn is that it will be to greasy or oily.

  • @niamh2739 Hey Sis! I'm so glad you like Terressentials! I've never tried any of their other products...

  • @Dawnyele Thanks : ) Yeah the facial cleanser & moisturizer are expensive but they work really well on my combination skin as for the lotions if you end up trying them please let me know : ) Hope you enjoy : )

  • ...Mud/ dirt lol it definately had a very deep earthy smell. The lavender smells wonderful. I did not have the chance to try the lemon yet. As for their other products I LOVE THEIR FACIAL CLEANSER & MOISTURIZER. It was so good! It's delicate & soft & leaves my face perfect. The deoderant I tried the lavender it has lasted me forever it is good it smells amazing but it does not last all day as far as keeping you from getting a little musty and I dont really sweat so I cant comment on that.

  • Terressentials is great the hair mud is a little rough on my hair but if I had 6 weeks of not having to go anywhere or see anyone to allow my hair to detox and get used to no chemicles TRUST ME I WOULD but I rarely have that opportunity. I did try their sampler set I found that I really liked the lavender but the peppermint was my favorite it felt like my hair was clean & it helped me to tell where the mud was on my head. The sultry spice I thought would be sexy and alluring butit smells like

  • Thank you for this detailed video! I would like to purchase this product hoping the price is affordable and I can get it at a local store. Is that possible? The lemon and lavender. Your curls were nice!

  • @rebarenee7 Thanks! :) They only sell it in their store & online. The shipping is expensive but I think the product is worthy...

  • Hi, where did you find that beautiful butterfly jewelry?

  • @JacelynWilson1104 It was a gift from my mom....She got it from Macy's

  • and hair mask ( my Giovanni I feel is out the door), but only because KBB is all natural and I just like her products. I have found the one!!!! Lol!!!

  • @TheArdz. I bought the lavender garden and it smells like lavender. It's a strong lavender smell but it's really nice. When you wash it out there isn't a strong intensity. My husband likes it and he will make sure to tell me if he didn't like it. He can't stand strong smells. No one can tell you washed your hair with mud unless you tell them in other words. I love love this stuff!!I have to get the bigger bottle now!!! Lol. This is my number one staple. I'll still use my KBB butters, milks, a

  • i am going to try it but does it smell like mud?

  • @TheAdrz No not at all....it smells exactly like the scent you choose...

  • Is it enough gentle to use everyday?

  • @kbarbii I wouldn't everyday but every other day yes....you can dilute some in a separate bottle & use as often as you like.

  • I have a question did u every try the unscented one?

  • @makinMYway30 No I haven't honestly.....

  • I envy you having them all ligned out...they don't ship to where Ilive :-(

  • @Blackvelvet330 Oh no! That's no good :(

  • This was so helpful. You and I have the same texture. I will check this product out. Naptural85 raves about this product. I wonder how your hair would do if you mixed the left coast lemon with the cool mint? hmmmm.... Thanks for this great review! Be Blessed!

  • @Baruch1girl Thank you :) I wouldn't want to mix them because the formulas are different so I don't want to confuse my hair...I'm scared lol

  • You do have a very tight curl so I'm assuming them say sure any person without fine hair (maybe European or Oriental) can use this product because their are different kinky hair textures as well, but I'm sure they wouldn't have recommended the type you should use for nothing.

  • Maybe they are assuming if you have thin fine hair, your hair has or carries more oil because thicker hair usually uses and eats up more oil. So it most likely doesn't have the same amount of moisturizing ingredients in it as the others do to get the build up out of your head.

  • @misssweetlikecake Right....other than that I love the hair wash!

  • don't the web site classify, hair types with each products? For kinky curly hair they recommended the lavender. Even Naptura85 says she uses the lavender.

  • @Iamhappynappy Actually if you look at the website, it recommends almost all of them for kinky/coarse/dry hair...

  • What do you use for daily moisture

  • @MzScorpiotee I just posted a video about my hair care regimen so please check it out :)

  • do you use terressentials for your regular hair wash?

  • @mermaid000pranu Most of the time yes....I co-wash with Desert Essence Coconut Conditioner...I only use Terressentials once a month now.

  • @Dawnyele so you use shampoo just once a month and you co-wash on a weekly basis?

  • @mermaid000pranu Yes, I only shampoo once a month...if I feel like my scalp needs more attention then twice but I co-wash any other time.

  • @Dawnyele does the terressentials site ever offer any holiday sale or off's? Or did you come across any sale or know of any..

  • @mermaid000pranu Girl heck no! They never have sales! Grrr LOL

  • I will def use your recomendtion because we have the same type hair, mysister has 4a 4b and luves the lavender

  • @beautymakeover I like the lavender but LOVE left coast lemon!

  • awesome review. THank you!!!

  • @Budderfli1976. Thanks for watching! :)

  • Fabulous review!

  • @ReniiNaturalistaDiva Thank you! :)

  • Use the sultry spice as a face mask!

  • @PackofDiscos THANK YOU!!! I did it as soon as I got your comment and it worked out great!

  • my daughter and i were admiring your hair bow, it is SUPER KA-YUTE!!!! where did you get it from?

  • @Honestly2007 n Thank you very much! I actually made it...You can see how in my video The Purple Show

  • Thanks for the review! I want to start using all Natural products on my hair. Is there a video where you explain how you wash your hair with this?

  • @CandyCoatedCashmere Yes, I have a wash routine video with Terressentials

  • Thank you for sharing your experience! It's great to hear it from someone and not from a website! I have fine, thin hair and dry scalp that has sadly faced the harshness of a texturizer (so I have some straight edges even after I cut it--my ends grew out straight :( ). I am thinking about buying the cool mint shampoo, do you think the shampoo will help get my straight edges back to the way it used to be. Or will I have to do the big chop again?

  • @LP2488 Won't know unless you try it honestly. I definitely think it will help remove that build up your hair probably has from that texturizer & help define your curls. If you don't see a difference in 2 weeks then you may have to chop :( Do the detox & see what happens...

  • what do you use for your homemade conditioner ? :)

  • @dsocree09 I have a video on it...Homemade Deep Conditioner

  • Thank you so much for the information!

  • @kareg100 Thanks for watching :)

  • dude when did terresentials blow up? i remember searching hard months ago for videos about this products...there were like 5-6 max which was really surprising seeing how awesome it is!

  • @stop08it LOL! I swear I started using it and making series of videos and a lot of people have jumped on board with it! I can't take all the credit, there were several videos before mine but I like to think I made a difference LOL

  • @Dawnyele LOL you have the best video about it on YT honestly... Interestingly enough, I found a massive thread (like over 600 replies) on LHCF...I know they aren't a small company but.they must be so overwhelmed and estatic at all the new business they have.

    Your hair is gorgeous btw!!!!

  • I love ur purple bow! u look cute!

  • @Soul4eva1 Thank you so much! :)

  • Giveaway sounds good lol I'm dying to try it. Thanks for the review on all 4.

  • @FrozyWozy LOL!! I'm sure that's what's going to happen...Thanks for watching :)

  • I received my order last week. Left coast lemon is my favorite followed by lavender and then cool mint. I love this product! Thanks for the comparison :-) What made you switch back?

  • @143living Switch back to what? Lol I'm glad you like them....

  • Hey love the review! I have a question. Since you started using the mud washes, do you use other products in terms of shampoo and conditioner?

  • @FashionDivvah Thank you! Yes, I actually just started using a different shampoo and now only using the Terressentials once a month so far.

  • Great honest review! My 1st purchase was the lavendar and I wasn't too impressed. I want to do the 7 day detox with it. Have you done the detox with any of them? If so how did you do it? From what I read it seems you have to wash your hair several times a day for the 7 days.

  • @Aframations I detox with the Lavender wash...the instructions say wash your hair 2-3 times in one wash...so when you wash, then rinse, wash again, then rinse, wash again, then rinse. Doesn't mean you wash several times a day...I only washed one time for 5 days in a row...Thanks for watching :)

  • Oh Dawnyele, I am sooo jealous of the Terressentials clay shampoos, as we don't have them yet over here in the UK. Furthermore, your hair is amazing, I really appreciate the videos and tips that you give us 4C'ers, it is so uplifting. God Bless and keep up the good work.

  • @Camstar1000 Thank you! :) That sucks you can't order it :(

  • @Camstar1000 Hey hun I know the shipping sucks for us in the UK. I have my mate ordering it for me. I will let you know how it goes especially with hard water.

  • Lol. Ok. As long as you don't tell I just bought Left Coast Lemon and the trial size Cool Mint & Lavender. Smh @ myself. Haa! :-)

  • Lol at the first five seconds of this video!!! You are officially a Terressentials product junkie! Once I finish watching all of your videos I am going to pick up a bottle. :-)

  • @143living LOL!!! Shhhh.....don't tell anyone! Thanks for watching :)

  • Ok so I just fount your videos explaining exactly what I was asking you thanks for the information

  • @Ladydanielle10 Thanks for watching :)

  • Nice review I have been looking into these washes my self can you tell me about your detox experience also do you still dc what is your wash regimen like now that you have started using the mud

  • Do you know I even used the lavender garden to wash my hair while it was twisted, wow, it is soo soft, got samples of cool mint and left coast lemon today, cant wait to try them

  • @gletsu I wash my hair in twists also sometimes....good stuff!

  • great review. thx

  • @quishe03 Thank you :)

  • Great review, I'll go on their website and check it out and think abt it, prices nowadays are also a big thing with me though-lol. Thanks again!

  • @VickyVue Lol, understand...Thanks for watching :)

  • Hi Sis! You gave such an awesome rundown. You look lovely;-) Have a Great day;-)

  • @BeauGorgeousNatural Thank you Sis :)

  • U look beautiful sis, love the bow!!! And ur curls were definately POPPIN!!!! The PJ in me is wanting to go out&buy these!!!! lol!! Great review!!

  • @Mstoot7 Thanks Sis! You know you need to place your order and stop playin!!! LOL :)

  • Hey Sis, I have the lavender gardens and I will try the other one when that one is finished.

  • @1krzypraz Good stuff!

  • One more question. Do you use your Huetiful Steamer with the Terresentials?

  • @amyers1960 No and I probably won't...I use conditioner only under my steamer

  • Hello, I have a question. When you do your wash and go with the terresentials, how do you maintain to get more that one day hair. I used the Lavender this morning, and could not believe how my curls popped. I have place my order for the Left Coast Lemon.

  • @amyers1960 I use the "pineapple" method, I have a wash n go regimen video showing how I maintain my style for at least 3 days. Thanks for watching :)

  • I'm a big fan of the Terresentials Lavendar Garden and with my TWA I wash my hair basically every other day. Sticking with just organic oils to moisturize my hair allows the Lavendar Garden to cleanse my hair and scalp. At times, I'll use the Lavendar Garden with a little DrBronner's Lavendar Castile soap to throughly wash my hair to thouroughly wash after the pool or extreme workout.

I can't wait to try the Lemon Terresentials once I've acheived more length!! Thanks

  • @valstar622 That's awesome! I need to workout :( lol

  • Ur bow is really cute!!!!

  • @iunique81 Hey There! Thank you very much :)

  • I was leaning toward buying this stuff after seeing Naptural85's video but held off because her texture was different from mine and I was sure the detangling properties wouldn't be as stellar for me. But after seeing your first few reviews I was SOLD!

Detangling has been my nemesis since o have been natural and I hate wash days for this reason. I purchased the Lavender but now wish I had waited for this vid! Longing for the Lemon now!

  • @pisces310 Detangling has always been a beast for me...Always!!! I honestly can't wait until wash day now because it's so much easier!

  • I hate the sultry spice and I bought two of them! Smells TERRIBLE! Took me 2 hours to detangle.

  • @nialuvscoldplay You feel my pain!

  • @Dawnyele LOL! I do!

  • I love the Lemon Coast but it reminds me of Lemon Cake and I just want cake all day. lol. Hopefully the craving will go away soon.

  • @namastefw lol! I never even thought about that! Don't even get me started with cake...major weakness

  • I used the Left Coast Lemon off the bat and love it. Of course I looked on their site to see which one's are for kinky dry hair but I dislike the smell of Lavender. I dislike because it in EVERYTHING! nowadays...so I went left(lol). I may purchase a 2oz Mint to try it but I'm sticking to my Lemon and will be purchasing the big bottle. Thank you for your review.

  • @ShounaMarie Yeah I'm not a fan of the Lavender smell either lol...Thank you :)

  • Great Rundown Dawnyele! <3

  • @DearNaptural85 Thank You Sis! :)

  • very detailed video makes me want to try these mud washes one day.

  • @corkscrewakia I love them...Thanks for watching :)

  • thanks for the idea, yeh I can get the trial size of cool mint, I totally agree with the subscriber that said you should be paid by terressentials for your reviews on their product, they should at least give you free products!

  • @gletsu I wish! Lol

  • thanks:) i will have to try it one day when my other stuff is used up lol

  • @faybabi1 Lol...Thanks for watching :)

  • You look so pretty in purple. That's your color girl! Love the bow also :)

  • @annointedkeys Thank you so much! :)

  • Great video, I would have never tried the cool mint if you didn't do this review. I'll try that one next. I've tried the left coast lemon and Lavender Wash and like them both.

  • @kdenene You can buy the trial size of the mint just to give it a shot....I'm not pushing you or anything LOL!

  • Imma try that line just coz of you girl!

  • @Khadcabo LOL!!!

  • @IamPeaceIamLove Thank you so much Sis! :)

  • You look super cute, I am loving this bow! I like the Cool Mint and Sultry Spice. Not a huge fan of the Lavender. They don't have the Lemon at my store. :P

  • @denimpixie Hey Sis! Thank you so much :) I really think that sultry spice didn't really work for me because it's also for oily hair and my hair is dry....maybe those ingredients have a reverse effect on my hair...

  • @Dawnyele Ah, good point. My hair is pretty much in the middle...I dunno but the Lavender was lame to me, lol.

  • Great vid!! Love the purple and the butterfly jewerly. * My two favs*

  • @srednov ME TOO!!!! Thanks for watching :)

  • Great Review! I'm just sticking with the Left Coast but you know I didn't give up my Curl Junkie :) LOL

  • @jcokes7 LOL!!! Curl Junkie junkie! LOL

  • I forgot to ask for your wash and go in the pics here, did you section your hair into braids or twists before washing? Or did you just literally wash and just let the curls fall as they were? Thanks :o)

  • @1221tam Yes, I always wash my hair in 12-14 large twists. My hair would be a tangled mess if I didn't....when I do the final rinse I take down the twists one at a time and let the water run through completely to get all the hair wash out. So the wash n go pics you saw were when I was done....

  • Thanks for the awesome review! It's funny how differently these washes work. I ordered the Sultry Spice first and thought it was amazing on my hair. Then I ordered the Left Coast Lemon and Lavender Garden. I thought the lemon left my hair dry while the lavender tended to be more moisturizing. But I love their products. Still plan to experiment to decide which one is my "favorite" of them all. Your wash and go looked great by the way :-)

  • @1221tam I know right....Several ladies love the sultry spice. Thank you so much :)

  • another thought...try adding the sultry spice and left coast lemon together so you want have to waste the product. Just a thought.!!!!!!! Girl, they should be sending you free product for endorsing their products.

  • I also wanted to add that you really don't need a leave in after using the terressental mud wash. once your hair gets use to the mud you will be in love with the products. they are great. I have to thank Naptural85 for introducing me to the product. I also would like to thank Dawnyele for her honest review of the products. I used only Kinky Curly Knot Today after my wash last night then I did a 2 strand twist without any other product and my hair is amazing. I have 4b hair.

  • Great review!!! I actually bought the lavender and sultry spice and tried them both. I actually like them both. however, after reading your previous review about the spicy one, I had decided to add a table spoon or two of olive oil to it and it was amazing. my hair came out like the cool mint experience you had. great review. now I'm going to try the other two.

  • @msladynatural00 I'm glad you figured out a way to use the sultry spice. I wish they would send me free stuff! LOL! I'm small potatoes LOL Thanks for watching Sis :)

  • How long will your wash and go last?

  • @mychyenatural I can only go 3 days then I wash again...

  • Your vidoes are so awesome, thank you! OMG, your curls were off the hook with the wash and go. I have the big bottle of lavender garden so I have to wait a minute but I am going to try the cool mint. Thanks again

  • @gletsu Thank you!! You can buy the trial size of the cool mint if you just want to give it a try before you buy a bigger bottle....

  • Love your review- how often do you use the mud wash? Weekly?

  • @samkaugust Thank you :) Yes, I wash at least once a week, if I wear wash n gos I wash twice a week but the second time I just co-wash.

  • Hi Dawnyele, I am just a bit confused as to what terressentials product is. It's a form of a shampoo, right? So what do you use to deep condition and as a leave-in?
