yea its 12 bar blues, thats the foundation.....the hard part is how he dances around the fretboard. The best in the world take something as simple as the 12 bar progression and make something different and soulful. But of course if you want to see someone use 20 scales a million MPH, then to each his own, Even Steve Vai would advise you otherwise.....
