I used to wonder why they arrest Beethoven too, but I figure it has to do with the fact that he's a historic figure and the rest of them that were arrested with historic figures, so they probably figured he was with them. Plus it's easy to spot him since there's a crowd around him. But from a director's standpoint, that would send the movie on a tangent if they had to go looking for Beethoven if he got separated from the pack.

@JANNOSPR Actually, it's played in A, tuned down a half-step to A flat. In this clip, it's sped up slightly, almost sounding like B flat, but I don't recall if it's like that in the movie or just in this particular clip.
