Great effort mate.

Advice: Check tuning.

This kills your playing and there's nothing you can do.

Tone: I think you could listen to the original and try to match it a bit more.

If it's pre-recorded then you need to at least attempt to master it.

Technique: The guitarist HappyGuitarPlayer has also done this and his version is stunning. Check out his vid for the finer points :)
