i cought alot of clam you use clam gun dig it then stick your hand in the hole keep reaching until you feel something grab it then pull it out you might get a shrimp worm flownder or a clam i catch at ninilchik at the beach if oyu dont feel nothing its to deep

The razor clams in Britain come out themselves if you pour some salt into their hole. Does that work on your clams?

@jimd072 if you pivot your gun slightly side to side as you retract, you create a little air gap and it's Waaaaay easier for you to pull. I just saved your back!
