I've watched a few videos and am still having trouble with the hinge (well, the two halves of the upper part)...can you describe exactly where it needs to be pried apart? I'm on the seam, but it just won't budge very far. Thanks!

People, this video is intended for the technically and mechanically inclined, and not for individuals that don't know which way to un-tighten and tighten a screw.

Btw, you don't cut any wires or ribbons, they are fastened on by releasable connectors.

It also came with a dsi case 3 game holders, 3 sticks stylists, & a car charger

I got it at gaming generations (a store near me)

but I think they also have them at wal-mart, Shop-Ko, Game Stop ect.

the stylus does scratch it (very slightly) but im not worried about those, its one small piece of dirt/ dust gets in the way of the stylus, while in motion, it will scratch the screen, thats how i ended up with two large scratches, and right after i cleaned the screen with a screen cleaning cloth too! lol, im considering a good protector, hopefully better than the ones nintendo makes that get uber scratched within minutes

I took apart mine to increase wifi range and i took all of the ribbons off safely. And when i put it back together it didn't work...but it has something to do with the battery and its connection between the motherboard or somethin because it won't turn on. I tested the battery and it works fine by itself. and when you plug it into the wall the red light blinks but the power button doesn't affect it. I don't want to get nintendo to fix it. A 14 year old doesn't have a lot of money :P

im not sure,if you want to replace the camera it can be really expensive,your best guess would probably be to try and fix it at nintendo if you still have warranty.
