Cap and Trade is a risky scheme that we cannot afford. It will do to this country what the hawley smoot tariff did in the Great Depression. It will cut GDP big time.
you cant keep the gasoline companies from producing a certain amount of pollution--it's impossible since everyone in legislature- both right and left- has large assets in gas companies...
government only uses cap and trade to increase revenue for such important faculties such as HEALTHCARE AND SOCIAL SECURITY
cap and trade is really a push for companies to find better ways to manage waste
also having high taxes on gasoline keeps people like you from wasting it all around bardstown road.

Maybe they should read Adam Smith's book, "Wealth of Nations". It is still a great blueprint for our country to follow.
