  • Hey... Where did you get your pole from? xx

  • I need to learn how to do the gemini.... I am one lol

  • Comment removed

  • You said this was old so I hope you know this by now but when you do your front hook you need to clench you butt and stick out your pelvis. It looks so much better. Also on your 'forward falling spin', bring your hand closer to your knee that begins on the pole (same reason, looks better).

Also I'm pointing out that you missed lots of variations on the fireman spin and how to do a basic invert even though you did two moves that need it.

  • That is so useful, thank you!

  • nicee vid.. whats the name of the song??

  • THANK you for that awesome vid! I can't wait to learn pole dance, and this is just so motivating for me, because you make it very good to understand! so fuck off the rubbish talking people here, maybe the only reason they watch pole dance is, to see some sexy chicks that turn them on.. too bad, pole dance is much more than that! keep going like that! <3

  • What is the song in this video ?

  • This was really helpful! Gave me a few moves to start practicing =]

Great place to begin! Thank you~

  • This is perfect for beginners learning to pole dance it was actually exactly what I was looking for.

  • Very TALENTED! Beautiful body! Great moves! You're awesome!

  • @REDKE71 Not trying to sound weird, just backing you up, YOU HAVE THE BODY.

  • Thank you for this video I just started taking pole and can never remember all the names of the spins...you look fabulous I hope i get this good one day!!

  • I love how everyone is giving you tips on how to improve your technique - they haven't noticed the date this was loaded and obviously don't know who you are - LMAO!!!! Those of us in the "pole community" know EXACTLY who you are!!!

  • @S14KRAZY whats wrong with her body she looks great

  • she has the shape of a boy

  • Thank you so much for making this video!! Everyone who is judging you needs to shut up! They don't understand how hard pole dance is and the process of progression and mastering it. I love this video because it helps me break down new moves into chunks so I can master each one. Your vids are awesome keep them coming, screw the haters!

  • Thanks for all the info, the moves and the names. Very helpfull.

But for heaven's sake, loose the sneakers! Go barefoot if you have to. But no sneakers, pls!

  • I really liked your video going to watch it a few x's try some of the moves I have spinal injuries but I have found out hanging upside down by 1 leg helps stretch out my spine, now I know the name of that move thank you I have saved it on playlist hope you have a wonderful, successful & bless week;)

  • @AprilAshLove this video was meant to be more fitness than sexy or graceful, i was only trying to show a bunch of beginner moves. But on another note, your technology video made me laugh. so next time you judge, make sure that youre ready to be judged in return, because you werent very graceful yourself dear. also, this video is like 3yrs old, ive progressed quite a bit and won alot of national competitions since then.. ;)

  • @AprilAshLove Wow, that was harsh. Have you seen any of her other videos?? I've been a ballroom dancer for close to 10 years, and Karol is the reason I bought a pole and put it in my house. Her grace and strength motivated me to try another form of dance--(one with a more dependable partner!). She is a ballerina on the pole! I've seen a lot of pole dancers who can do some impressive tricks, but Karol is the only I've seen who can be impressive AND dance on the pole.

  • @AprilAshLove Wow, really ladies. Do you even know who you are leaving a comment to? Do your homework before you start judging. This video is 3 years old and today she is one of, in my opinion, the best PRO pole performers in the industry! Watch her Karol Helms - She talks to Angels, check it our yourself. I think and apology is in order... i'm just sayin'

  • You did awesome! Thanks for posting the moves with the names, big help. Also, thank you for executing the moves cleanly!!! Keep posting and dont worry about the idiots who have no idea of what this video is about!

  • @S14KRAZY bro are u stupid shes sexy as fuck?

  • shes got a nice body....and good moves!

  • @S14KRAZY Solche Aussagen können nur von Leuten kommen, die ihren Neid nicht zurück halten können... you jealous thing... -.-

  • and no tits and no cute face.. damn she fucking poped..lol

  • she dont have the stripper body. no 1 want to see a skinny flat body srtiper.. wheres da booty meat. like who wants to tip flat booty.. and people think they got body cause they skinny.. retards

  • @S14KRAZY You're an idiot. Get a life.

  • @S14KRAZY Hey little boy, you gonna grow up if you are lucky but you never will find a women like her.

  • Respond to this video...

  • @REDKE71 Touche!

  • wtf is with the black ugly gym shoes? totally ruined the whole video.

  • @S14KRAZY pole dancers come in all shapes and sizes, it's not just about the body, it's also about the skill, and this girl has skill

  • @S14KRAZY haha rofl. her body is perfect and you're just a troll

  • Your great XD

  • @S14KRAZY too bad that ur an inmature dork!

  • @S14KRAZY you sad, sad little dummy... you have no clue WHO this is. She was the USPDF Miss Sexy 2010, so I am sure your comment went straight to the heart. You obviously can't read or do math, either, since this was filmed [probably over] 3 years ago.

  • You amaze me, Karol. I started watching your videos 3 days after I got my pole (over and over) since there are no schools close to where I live. After a few weeks, I learned you are THE Karol Helms that was featured on the X-Pole UK site where I bought my pole! To see your progress, and to have read that you were also self-taught, is such an incredible inspiration. Are you coming to Germany anytime soon..?

  • @S14KRAZY It's comments like this when I think to myself your father should've pulled out A LONG time ago.... She has an amazing body... Do you see a drop of fat on her? NO WHY BECAUSE ITS PURE MUSCLE...The only muscle that you have is in your forearm from wacking off too much to videos like this. Go out and get a girl that isn't plastic with a mouth permanently open.

  • I just got my x pole but I am having trouble spinning on dry hands. Do you apply something on your hands or on the pole to make the spinning moves easier? Thanks.

  • I just got an xpert xpole and plan on placing the pole on hard wood... i see u have a rug under your pole what do you suggest?

  • @REDKE71 i think you look silly because if the shoes, but if you ask any slef respecting man, he would say FUVK YEAH YOU GOT THE BODY!!!!

  • Eeek you're awesome! Are you using a static pole? And is it an X Pole ? x)

  • @NataliexNapalm Thanks! Yes, XPole is the only poles i use..!! :) Check out the link in the description to buy your own..!! polepraxis

  • cool! love your tattoos as well!

  • what song is this i like it

  • how much upper body strength do you need to do this. I keep trying but I cant seem to get my body to do it

  • i love your old videos Karol, seeing this to where you are now, lets me know i can get there, much love from Canada's east cost ♥

  • is your pole a spin or static?

  • whoops sorry to post so many!

  • I love how you pet your cat in the intermediate video!!! Me and my friend rewound like a million times!! 1 more thing- I am self-teaching/youtube teaching- did you teach yourself also? And what about my massive bruises?

  • Just thought I would make a comment. You have put Gemini and Scorpion on your video but you have done the scorpion move but named it Gemini and same the other way about x

  • It's really nice to see that some of the moves I've learned in the past few months actually exist and look good. You have a good technique and its very nice to see the same moves a couple of times in order to really remember them.

Great job! Just one request: loose the tennisshoes..? X

  • THANSK FOR POSTING THIS, IM ABOUT TO START DANCING ADN IT HELPED A TON TO GET TO SEE SOME GOOD SEXY ELEGANT MOVES :) SO AGAIN THANKS AND WISH ME LUCK

  • Hey girl!! ilove that you have all the names of the moves. where did you get the names from? is there like a website that gives you a list?

  • Have you placed the pole on the mat or cut a circle to the mat?

  • great job, imma learn some of these, i know a lot of them too

  • what song is this?

  • Sorry to be picky, good video, just a couple of things I think you can work on, pointing toes and keeping legs straight when doing moves :) x

  • @littlemissrach1 thanks, if you watch my other videos, i dont flex my feet and legs as much as this series of vids.. for some reason, i feel akward dancing in tennis shoes.. lol..

  • Thanks for this video too!

  • Just for fun I decided to do all the moves you posted one by one (aside from the inverts). It was a blast. Thanks so much. :)

  • wut song iis thatt ? ;)

  • hii! :) im new to pole dancing and i was just wondering if you had a solution to the blisters you get on your hands? it hurts and its preventing me from practicing...

  • That was awesome I want a pole so bad n u make it lol so easy but I know it's not well good video though I definitely loved the fan legs and the corkscrew

  • I will add this to my begining pole fitness. And thanks sooo much for doing the moves in both directions. Most classes teach in one direction & then your very strong on one side. Thanks Again!

  • do you practice with a 2in or a 1.75in pole? Im going to buy and x pole for practice at home and im curious what size is better. thanks!

  • Hey there, I was wondering if you can do all of these moves on a stationary pole? I'v just brought a pole and hoping to teach myself.

    xxx

  • @EvaMalteser42 You can do them on a static pole, I have an X pole and I use it on both and I find it much easier on static but some of the spinning moves are a little but hard to do on static

  • @EvaMalteser42 its better to learn on a stationary pole first.

  • is this a stationary pole or a spinning one?

  • @xxcandykorexx that one is a spinning one.

  • Thanks for this :D It took a year, but I mastered them :*

  • never buy the pole ''peekaboo 360'' cuz it will fall on your face.....stupid cheap pole.....DON'T GO CHEAP ON YOUR POLE ! imma go buy the x pole right now.....is it available in canada ?!

  • 2:47 : beginner pole moves ?! if i try that i might just break my neck ! i just bought a pole 2 days ago and i am so lame at this ! i just don't have the strengh in my arms yet but im working on it ...i never imagined you had to be that strong to twist around a pole ! oh and how do put all your weight on your thighs ( english is not my 1 language so i don't know if i got the good word) ...it hurts! please help !

  • Point your toes. It looks a lot better.

  • can you teach me???????

  • sexy...

  • sexy...

  • Hey Redke71 love ur vedios i use some of them for self teaching at home! =) they're great but please can i ask what programme you used to make your silhouettes?? x

  • @Chelse22304 in doesn't matter if your over weight but allot of removeablebpoles have a weight limit... Like the platinum stages super pole has a two hundred pound limit... So just be careful when choosing a pole

  • Is there any trick how to stop your hands sweating? I've just started learning and am actually not that bad, but once we are supposed to dance a whole song, I need to clean the pole every few moments, otherwise I'd hurt myself...

  • @1evinka0 try Tite Grip Its good for sweaty hands..!

  • @REDKE71 What is tite grip?

  • @REDKE71 I actually got some gymnast grips on Ebay and they work like a charm.

  • @REDKE71 use anti bacterial cream before, its my lill secret

  • @1evinka0 and keep practising, ur hands will get used to pole dancing, and regulate them selfs. ur grip becomes tighter and skin becomes harder :)

  • @1evinka0 you can also use an anti-persperant deodorant spay on the palms of your hands, i find this works really well

  • does it matter how over weight you are?

  • @chelsea33024 no.. not at all.. ive seen some big girls be able to do this same stuff..!!

  • @chelsea33024 Hi Just Curious When Refering To Over Weight What Kind Of Weight Are You Referring too? I'm Not Very Fit But Want To Start Something like this just for fitness.... =)

  • I just started a few days ago & got my pole. I love how you show the beginner moves! Since there are no classes around where I live I'll be learning all on my own. Its so hard though any advice for a newbie?!

    Thanks for posting!! <3

    Thanks for posting!! <3

  • You are amazing! :) Your video is really helpful! Thanks

  • im an actual dancer. Just started and ur videos helped me a lot... i tried a couple of them and the guys LOVE it...thank you...

  • i wonder if fireman call in pole dancers into the firehouse when they're not busy.

  • looks great!! so effortless. The only thing is if you point your toes more it would look a wee bit better. But other than that, amazing :-)

  • I love that you put this video together! It makes it so much easier and less of a daunting task for beginner pole dancers [or even experts] to differentiate the many types of pole moves with the names. You even slow them down and play them 2 or 3 times for the viewer to catch all the planted footwork, hand grasps, etc. :] well done!

  • This is good, very useful for a beginner like myself :) just one problem I'm having, I was wondering if you could help me - for the climbing moves, when I try climbing the way you do it hurts the top of my foot and I can't grip properly. Am I doing it wrong? Or is it something you just have to get used to? Thanks for this video, it's great :D

  • Nice video.

  • that was enjoyable to say the least

  • To a beginner pole dancer like myself, inspirational...

  • thanks!

  • Ok so today was my 1st time on the pole... Is it normal for my hands to already feel so dry almost like callus feel like? uugg my abs already hurt:) But a good hurt;) I can't wait until i look normal on the pole...lol Now I look like any second I can break something...lol

  • wow all tricks with both sides of your body... Nice ... you move like water, very sexy, I will be watching this again, thanks for sharing :)

  • very good!! Im just starting out and can do some of those. Looks great!!

  • Excellent. Thank you!

  • do you have a spinning pole?

  • thank you so much this helped me so so much.. it gave me a great place to start

  • thank you so so so much for this! <3

  • thank you so much for your videos, they help alot :)

  • Best vid ever! I love this.. sooooo helpful! I just need to work on my form, or lack there of! LOL

  • Thanks for that just what I need to guide me. I done the falling forward spin position today, held myself up (did not spin mind) and slid down the pole slowly, I knew I seen a similar move somewhere its nice to have a name for moves and a reference to look back on.

Thanks for doing the vid :)

  • the shoes are killin me!

  • brilliant vid...did you do this on spinny?? x

  • Thanks a lot, you're incredible!

  • Thanks, Karol! This video is soooo helpful. It's the quick reference I've been hoping to come across.

  • when i jump up and grab the pole for the gemini, it really hurts the insides of my legs...is there any way to prevent this? like i get bruises like crazy because my skin is so tight with the pole

  • @0021rawr thats normal. You can't prevent it. For all beginner moves and any move you start for the first time, its going to hurt and bruise because your skin is in contact with the pole.

  • @CrazySamantha0214 Will it ever go away for good? because I'm wondering if I'll always have these sore spots...

  • Yeah of course they will go away lol If it gets too bad stop for a few days. You can also get some stuff at the store for bruises to help them go away a little.

  • your videos helped me so much!!!!

  • thanks girl!

  • thanks so much! i learned a lot! great set up too!

  • this may sound like a dumb question; but does pole dancing hurt ur skin when ur a beginner? and what can i do about that?

  • Comment removed

  • These are fantastic Thanks for repeating each move-- so many videos show it once and I end up rewinding 3 times so I can pay attention to different elements.

  • geez...... shes a pro

  • LIke your video help me learn alot so i can start soon :)

  • i always come back to these wonderful beginner through advanced videos you made so much information so consise so nice to watch.

  • How long did it take you to learn all of the moves? I am going to do it but i have heard it takes ages to learn properly.

  • it really just depends on how strong you are to begin with, how long and how often you practice and what type of instruction you have...

  • If there is a good studio with very advanced and experienced instructors who are experienced at teaching beginners of all levels with these moves (hopefully you can find one), you will learn in no time. In the beginning, I wanted all the progress to come right away, but two years later, I now just enjoy what I know and have it as a hobby, doing it almost every day, and learn something new every time I do it! Don't worry about how long it will take -- you will love it!

  • @pieternkelly I`ve been taking beginner classes during 6 weeks. We`ve learned about 20 moves and we nail them! It's easy and you don't even have to be strong to do that. OF course it's hard on your muscles at the beginning but once you get used to it, it's even more easyer. :)

  • Where would be the best place to buy a pole & which type. Are they easy to attach & detach

  • I have an Xpole - love it! Really easy to put up and down! (Ok the first time was STRESSFUL) But seriously up and down in five mins! Love it!

  • we have 1 aswell, they are great aye

  • check out my website link in the description.. all the info is there..

  • @MadisonJ9Records yep yep they are easy to attach and detach

  • @MadisonJ9Records ebay kendra pole(from the playboy house) am the best to have i used to have one ages ago they am the best

  • I really really want you to point your toes!!!! You are so good at the actual tricks, just polish it off by pointing!!

  • love your butterly

  • very well done!! Thanks for posting ;)

  • dirty beats (ercola remix)

  • someone tell me the name of all the songs in this video! I love all the music she uses!

  • Try ann summers which is where i got mine from they are pricey wherever you look but its great fun to learn and helps boost confidence in yourself. Also you could try on the internet guys. Its certinaly not about how much you weigh although some poles do have a max weight which you will have to check.

  • is there i can get for a plus size person? i heard that it is not really about how much you weigh. it is about if you can carry your own body weigh.

  • nice i love ur video know anywhere i can get a pole mama i want to put one in my bedroom.. or any other way to pratice without the actual pole?

  • i went to the local hardware store yesterday bc i been watching her vids and i had a wild hair in my butt to try it. my first time in my whole life on a pole was yesterday i got some spins down but i tried climbing the pole and doing a move and i busted my rear. it looks so easy until u have to train urself to handle ur own body weight and im only 112 lbs and its was rediculously hard. check out my vid its hidious lol. reminder this was my first time in my life ever on a pole

  • I notice that you have an x pole on a carpet, but it looks like a throw rug on a wood floor?

Is this what I'm seeing? just want to know if I could attempt that at my house

  • thank u so much !!!! :)))))

  • Hello! I love watching your videos, I actually got a pole because of how fun you make it look : ) I got a sexy little pole, and I know they aren't safe for crazy moves but I secured it in a way that it is safe. I don't have any experience and I'm having trouble with a lot of moves. I can do the carousel and the cross one where you tighten your legs and let go with your hands. Are these good moves to start with for an absolute beginner or should I try easier moves first?

    Thanks! Your amazing!

  • I love pole Dancing, and i think im at the beginner-intermediate level. How did you get your arms strong enough for the one handed tricks? Please reply

  • good lord, its so hard!! im constantly losing my grip!! my damn hands sweat!

  • Thanks for this, just tried each move in my house, so hard and my hands sweat costantly, its so annoying! Im going to start pissing methalated spirits next! Btw, I wish you wouldnt flex your feet! x

  • Thanks for making this!!! Its really helped me learn the names of the moves =)

  • very well done...lol I know it takes a lot of leg body strength and if you anit fit then danmint its hard

  • You make it look so easy! You did a lovely job!!

  • Thanks for showing us how it's done. I just got a pole and am learning. You're good.

  • these are great! they really helped me out for learning them!

  • What a great compilation of moves! I can't wait to try some of these out in class next week :) I finally know what these moves I see in so many videos are called. Thanks again.

  • so.. do i havwe to hold the pole very thig¿???
