IMHO, this is what a zombie apocalypse would really be like. Even 2 weeks after the first infection. It wouldn't be as dark and messed up as the released game would be. This looks a WHOLE lot more like people just stopped what they were doing, and ran wild. There's way too much damage done to just be from a few normal sized people just running around. So a brighter, less deteriorated world seems alot more realistic...

Yes yes this is much better!But the final product is funner!and the tank is easy to kill here other than the final product and they got the right look of the char in the final product and they will rate this game X rating if the final game looked like this only adults will be able to play and if you try to download this from any source if the game is like the beta it will need authentication keys and product keys to activate the whole program so thats worst

I love the L4D beta so much, especially the city look, full of lights, looks like New York.

But one thing I don't like are the weapon sounds, they are too underpowered.

u guys! i dont see y u hate the final version!!! the gore is more ralistic, and the shotguns are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to accurate on l4d beta. just like in CSS... they are soo accurate... i am glad valve changed everything. and turtle rock. they would have put stong language in it. so i wouldnt be allowd 2 play it. i like a gorey game without strong language! It was all perfect when Turtle Rock Studios worked on it, but Valve had to change everything only because TRS practically gave their work to them.

Why is it that most games that look really good in betas and alphas end up being horrible in the actual game? Is it so hard for developers to learn to LEAVE THE GAME AS HOW IT IS AS FANS MIGHT LIKE IT THE WAY IT IS BETTER?

i like the feel in the beta more. the characters outfits. It seems more scary and more realistic if it were a zombie apocalypse. Bill's and Zoey's outfits should have stayed the same. But francis and louis are good how they are in the actual game

games dont hve to be realistic.. if left 4 dead was realistic then how would the survivor recover from massive blood loss from being pounced from a hunter.. getting hit by a tank would kill you cause you would get crushed.. any game that would be realistic would make it boring.. we play for thrill not realism

When you empty your clip on the lets say UZI the you have absoloutelly no bullets left in the chamber, and when you then put in a new magazine you have chamber the gun, thats why its unrealistic..

When you fire the last bullet, the catridge will be ejected, but the sled stays in that position. When you put in a new magazine, you only have to release a lock to chamber a bullet. You don't have to manually pull back the sled.
