All the voices are based on famous character actor voices from the 40's and 50's. Peter Lorrie is the fox and the turtle is supposed to be Chill Wills, an old western movie actor. But the other two I can picture the actor, but can't remember the names.

I never saw the Cow or the Fox before, and I remember when these first aired.

Frank Nelson is "Mr. Cow", Paul Frees is "Mr. Fox", and Paul Winchell is "Mr. Owl". There was a variation in later versions of the one minute version, at :49, where the boy added, "If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a smart owl".

I shoulda known. I've always known this was from the 70s (the designs immediately make that obvious), and commercials were longer then. So I shoulda figured that it was originally longer. This is a real trip to see.
