Both of these songs were ones that I learned gradually over the course of about ten years. It wasn't until shortly before I recorded the videos that I buckled down at worked on the really hard spots. I can't say enough about the benefits of practicing things Super "underwater" slow your muscles get much more of a workout.
Well I slightly cheat: The pickup in the bridge position is a George Lynch Seymour Duncan "Screamin Demon" humbucker. Thats the only one switched on in this video. If I hit the other pickup we go into more of a classic rock sound. I can mimic Stevie Ray's sound pretty well with this guitar also using the rhythm ciruit in the upper part of the body. These guitars take some TLC but they are a gem.
ZAKK IS HUGE DUDE HE'D KICK MY ASS IF HE SAW THAT!! Thanks man, that really means alot to me. I've been a huge fan of Ozzy's guitarists since I was about 8 years old. I joke that if I ever get a disease thats gonna kill me, my dying request is to play this on stage with Ozzy. But I'm serious!
another fine job Kick...I'd like to see you do some old Johnny Cash... maybe some "Big River" or Hey Porter... check out the riffs on that song(hey porter)...it is what creates all other rock sound...
See the problem is, I was playing the cowbell with my foot and the microphone was up by my chest so it really didn't pick up well. I may have to do some overdubs, put a little reverb on there!
Thank you sir. It definately didn't happen over night. Yeah, I don't sweat the negative comments, I don't have any skill that I didn't earn with hours of blood, sweat and tears. Rock on man
My Jag is a reissue of the 1962 model. I ordered it from a local place called E.M. Shorts (the only local Fender Dealer) about 5 years ago. I replaced one of the factory pickups with a Seymour Duncan George Lynch Screamin Demon which is what you are hearing in this video (that white pick up is switched off). I had to do the pick up switch to get the right sound for the metal band I was in at the time.
Good shit!!!!

Great Job!
Download the backing track from guitarbt and do it again so you aren't competing with Jake Lee's guitar.
Very nice.

I really enjoyed your skills. excellent. What year is your Jag. I never used my 66 Jag on metal songs. But I will certainly try it now.
