So...the woodlandcritters represent the germans who unite against the fox, a.k.a the Russians and Slavic, because he wants to eat them all.

And that makes sense symbolically because the germans are invading eastern europe without warning so they can enslave/genocide the natives before these can unite and fight back?

He is saying that the fox was going to hunt the rabbits. The fox being the allies and the rabbits being "inocennt"

Germans. The bees then go to help the rabbits and get rid of the fox. He doesn't say evil army.
