  • Weird that it didn't say anything about Osamu Tezuka who is original creator of Astro boy.

  • I am amazed I liked the movie. I know they changed a lot but I thought it kept to the spirit of the original and respected the source material unlike soooo many other cross culture remakes... but I stick this in the category with the Magnificent Seven/a Bug's Life in translated material that just works.

  • Dude Astro as such a cute, hot voice!

  • @kingcamilo first off I am 10, second I'm sorry for my comment that made you mad.

  • This movie had well developed characters, gave the robots great personality, although they made some of the 'moments' quite short, definitely a movie to watch.

  • I can't believe Freddie Highmore is the voice of Astroboy it doesn't sound like it.

  • Meh, Filmsi phishing people spamming the page :L

  • Ha, cool! *Blast*

  • Cant wait to see this movie ! It's really interesting cause there's stuff from space, the sun, the planets I think it'll be great to see the things there is behind the "family story" and this "space thing" will be a great movie for sure. Attending it on filmsi.co.cc this week.

  • The fuck....

  • First Shit Quality

    Second I Hate 0:01 - 0:40 i just want enjoy this trailer ...

  • Astro boy is such a remake of mega man, why here are 4 reasons:

1: they both are humioid boy robots

2: they both have arm cannons

3: they both have the same style hair

4: they were both created to save the world.

  • @lightningkatana10

Astro boy came first. Megaman was concieved in 1987. Astro boy had his manga in 1952.

  • @lightningkatana10 are you stupid or like 10 years old? astro boy was a series in the 60s thats known as the birth of anime. mega man was inspired by astro boy in the 80s to be a fuckn video game character

  • Truthfully, This movie was really cheesy. The only reason I watched it was because Astro was hot.

  • @lora4589

It was a good movie, if we ignore the fact that it had the dumbest villain ever conceived, and how cheesy the epilogue was.

  • I wish his father loved him at the beginning

  • gay movie

  • ...This suck and i hate it!

  • American movie studio plus Japanese franchise is never a good idea. Just look at Dragonball: Evolution.

  • @CheeseYoshi Well Dragon Ball was live action not CGI. And Dragon Ball is a film not meant to be live action.

  • que porra!

  • Such a bad movie..

  • i cried when the part astro died from the piecekeeper

  • i didn't like this movie

  • WTF

  • Stupid election commercials... -.-

  • i like the voice of astro! , what a great story, I watch it twice. wow! amazing! what else I can say.

  • At first, I didn't want to see this movie~ But I am glad I changed my mind, I actually really liked it <3

  • The boy that is the voice of Astro boy goes to my school.

  • ive always hate astro boy

  • wasn't that good of a movie.

  • His name is Tobio :D

  • hmm, that girl can gtfo if she isn't stripping in the upcoming films...

  • The original Astro Boy rocked. Right up there with Speed Racer. =)

  • i only no one line from this movie but even so it makes me fomcl everytimre :D

"i have machine guns, in my butt?!?!"

    :D

  • i think it was the best animation i've seen of an anime remake indeed

  • How did this movie do so bad? Thus movie was amazing and they spent 60 mil and only got 39 mil! I was so mad!! This is the best movie every

  • This movie was good, but Nick Cage as usual was terrible. It's like he did the voice over a phone. How is this guy getting constant work?

  • How is that possible!? The budget for astro was 65 mil and they only made 39 mil world wide!! Huh!! Astro boy is my fav movie of all time!

  • god sake this bitch can friggin talk about random crap just get on with the trailer 0;42

  • ya the movie is amazing and not boring anymore

  • I love this movie! But in the first 10 minuts is a little sad.... But still a great movie =D

  • @NokinhaNoka You should watch the original sieres

  • @AdamDuffield I already saw the original series... But i like more the movie =P

  • Nick makes a good Dr. Tenma

  • Sounds from halo ce at 48s

  • is it odd if this guy reminds me about Mega Man??

  • @jmjmjm97 mega man was inspired by the original astro boy anime

  • @MTFAMV That actually makes more sense.

  • The film is based on the great story. Do not skip it!! Spend your time watching something good...see it at your place...find it at moovi.co.cc...it is free.. It is a very rich effort from a talented group of people, great movie package. Truly recommended! See it now!

  • my friend recommand me this movie so I went to find it on moovi.co.cc ... I must say my friend' s got a real good taste when it comes to movies...so now I would like to recommand it to you couse it's great

  • The books are pretty cool but the cartoons are awesome!!! viewit at cartoonsi.co.cc!

  • here are some of the best movies online at Movie Watcherus....! check it out today guys....this is really too good...!!

  • Finally saw this movie in DVD, wasn't bad. I saw the original animation when it premiered in Japan in January 1963. The movie kept pretty much the same theme from the original animation. Of course Mr. Tezuka Osamu made several different version of how Tobio (Toby) became Tetsuwan Atom (Astroboy), both in manga and anime versions. I only hoped that they used the original song in this movie version but I think Mr. Tezuka would've approved.

  • You gonna really feel the difference on moovi.co.cc!! Thanks to the staff who have done up their outstanding work!!

  • Me and my friend have checked out lots of online film sites... but none to beat the quality of moovi.co.cc...! its just the best...!!

  • Just as good as the first part, no doubt. Hoping some good epic story?? Watch this now on moovi.co.cc!! I liked the ending a lot. It was resolved so unpredictable..very good! I am very satisfied with this movie.

  • would have been better if they took more time to awesomize the story, but it was still awesome, VIVA RRF =D. ONE THING that REALLY killed me inside was that the REAL Toby was "killed", I mean, i know that there HAD TO BE SOME WAY TO MAKE HIM INDESTRUCTIBLE, but NOT THAT WAY. The thought that he DIED really haunts me. Even using real DNA from Toby, along with some sort of bs(magical creation powers of the positive pure energy) therefore reincarnating him in a real sense would have been BETTER.SAD

  • Love Freddie Highmore.

  • Could have been a great movie, but it lacked emotion and depth. It was just too shallow

  • 1:39 This may sound odd, but if that goth is supposed to be Uran, I am going to march up to that company with a shotgun.

  • Omg!!! This movie was amazing! Hahaha i think i have a crush on astro boy!!! Hahhaah amazing!

  • Well done!!! Great acting, music and everything... It moved me because the way this movie is done is unlike any other movie I have seen before. A wonderful job... search it on malifilmici.co.cc...it s great site for watching online the best movies...

  • Back when Astro Boy came out, he was cuter than most GIRLS in manga.

Why does Japan always let America take things and RUIN them?

No eyelashes, no female voice actor, no vulnerable poses--THIS IS NOT TETSUWAN ATOM.

  • this is cute i want to see with my own eyes lol cute movie makes me want to do more animation on my own

  • 0:42 for trailer :L

  • @Ringer99999 Thanks!!!! I hate the girl talking

  • dude, everyone keeps saying they watched this online... hell, i bought the DVD up at walmart and loved it. astro boy rules! =D

  • @kayleeme102 i just watch it in star movie and i watch two times luckily it was the last round they show it

  • I just finisihed watching this movie at kookíca. It's by far the best thing i've ever seen, and i don't even know what to think right now.. it's the first movie that's made me reeallly interested in it.

  • This was a sick ass movie!!! So glad i went to see this at kookíca. ohh man loved every bit of this movie.

  • Where's Kristen Bell? o.O

  • realmente una genial pelicula

  • This movie is quite good. The creators spent $65m on this but ,unfortunately, its gross revenue is just only $44m. So, it's a lost!!

Well, that means you can hardly expect to have Astro Boy 2. I feel sorry about that.

  • That's bullshit! Why does the movie need big name celebrity voices, who really cares!?

  • If you have seen some of the films on kòòkica, then you would know this also must be something good, because it has the best ones!! If you haven't been there already then this is definitely the thing you must to do. It is free people, what are you waiting for!!!??? I loved the plot of this movie.

  • see complete version associated with this particular film here at av a tz.net remove spaces

  • This film was incredible. I go to kòòkica at least once or twice a week, and I enjoyed finally seeing a movie that made me think during the film and long after. The stunt work, acting, and special effects were amazing.

  • One of the best CGI movies EVAR!

  • I want to read this so bad, but I'm going to wait it out. I'm avoiding all comments and even tv ads. I'd like to know as little as possible before entering the kòòkica. Will see it today.

  • For all this genre fans, this film has it all, really everything you need to have have fun with your screen: fantastic special effects, at the moments great dark humour, incredible action, hilarious parts, serious moments and totaly convincing playing. See this movie now on kòòkica and enjoy for free!

  • saw a midnight showing on kòòkica. It was breathtaking and totally immersing. It is easy to ignore the holes and just let the story flow, and the weaknesses of some of the charcters are few. definitely worth seeing.

  • i thought the cast was amazing and the effects completely germaine to the movie, but i sort of feel like it was almost *too* easy to follow. i'd be totally willing to see it again on kòòkica just to see if there was something i missed, thematically speaking, and whether the end is what i think it is, or not.

  • i liked the movie, astro boy is a cartoon that will never be forgotten. i watched when i was little and my dad also did in white and black colors

  • @chaneloisa Correction: A great Manga, rmrbr that the manga was here first. But yes, the Anima also ROCKS!

  • I just saw it on freecartoonsus and it's funny, smart, intertextual, lovely, charming and ORIGINAL.. a must see for all ages

  • @dankata77 If there is a survey you have to complete then it isn't free without a catch. Hotdog movies.com has movies that you can actually watch for free without doing any stupid surveys.

  • The only real Astro boy was the 80s colour anime, the remake isnt even a shadow of that siries, and this movie? No Atlas? no Robot UFC 'there can be only one' smack down? no nothing which make it epic? Some threat, some conflict between the father and son and proffesor elefun makes a cameo? What is this travesty?

  • @Apis4 Hey hey hey. They managed to play homage to the original series preeeety well here. The recreated the 1960's theme song shot from shot, Mustachio was Astro's teacher, his origin story was intact, and they even kept the tradition of his spikes being in the same place every shot. And yes, there was a conflict between father and son and a cameo from Elefunt (you can see him in the trailer!), so that means you didn't even sea the movie. Nice try, but don't judge till you see.

  • @laughingwarlock THATS NOT WHAT ASTRO BOY WAS ABOUT THOUGH.. so what if they payed shot for shot details homage.. so what if theres some conflict between father and son. I want other killer robots, flying intergalatic star fish from the 5th diminesion, I want UFC style 'greatest robot ever' action (that tripple episode was the single greatest cartoon moment in histor)... I stumbled across my nehphew watching this piece of trash.. you are right. I dint really watch it.. why? Abomination

  • @Apis4 You have no right to judge something as an abomination if you haven't even seen it. NONE. You also have no idea what Astro Boy is. Tezuka created it to be a metaphor for racism and the story lines often had deeper political meanings as well.

I don't really get what you want here. There were other killer robots and every major cast member made an appearance and was in character. Did you want every astro boy episode of a show crammed into 70 minutes? Because that never happens in ANY movie.

  • @laughingwarlock I saw enough, as I said. and YES.. I want all the BEST bits crammed into maybe 120 Minutes, without Atlas, and without the BEST bad guys and killer robots, starfish of death from space and Kimba the White Lion Cameo, its just another poor American HACK of a great original. If you say different, fine, enjoy your diet coke, I will wait til the Absinth version comes along, I guess I can only hope. I want to be 'Ahhhh, fucking COOL' like I was at 5 when I used to watch it on TV

  • @Apis4 So your only complaint is really that they didn't use the villains that you wanted? That, instead of Atlas, Pluto, ect they used Tenma, Trick 'em, and the modern day equivalent of Hitlini? That's a pretty weak argument. The villains that they used are quintessential to the Astroboy origin story. The villains you wanted don't show up in the Astro Boy TV show until episodes reach double digits.

Could you imagine what a Spiderman movie would be like with every villain in the first movie?

  • @laughingwarlock Atlas, not a child but as Intergalatic Over Lord living in a Space Crystal Palace, was the single greatest antihero ever. No Atlas? No Astro boy. = big FAIL. So YES, I dont like comics, Spiderman sucks, commics suck, I like Porn, I like guns, I like drinking til I puke, having hard core sex with my six foot Danish blonde fiance, partying, and reading about the real world, not some redioactive spider. BUT I loved Astro, the lack of Atlas is a travesty

  • @Apis4 I can now safely say that you sir, were NOT the intended audience of this movie. I could continue on by saying that protagonists in fiction define the antagonists and not the other way around, but honestly it's kind pointless to have any kind of debate with your creepy attempt at forcing a Chewbaca argument. This movie was made for children who might form a new generation of Astro Boy fans, not middle aged frat boys who wanted to relive one piece of their childhood on EXACTLY their terms.

  • @laughingwarlock AND THATS WHY ITS A BIG FAIL.not enough attention payed to the only fans who count, because the new generation is too young and the old genration too old. They needed to toss a bone at the colour 80s toon version. Make it as much for us, since we are still young enough to love it, but in that bracket old enough to actually spend on it, to make or break it, after seeing what I saw of it, I wont be providing it for my kids to see. And ppl in my bracket have more $ than a 5yr old

  • @Apis4 You're argument is hopeless. Astro Boy has had three animated series in 63, 83, and 03. This movie contained more than subtle nods to ALL OF THEM. Something you would have seen if you had just watched the movie.

The only argument you can come up with for why this movie was bad was because it didn't include Atlas. I've got news for you. Atlas was boring. Pluto had a better storyline. Tenma going evil had a better storyline. This movie would have been WORSE if he were in it for no reason.

  • @laughingwarlock 03 sucked. 63 not much better, 83 LEGEND.. best anti Hero EVER? Atlas. No REASON? Then fucking write one and know your place Hollywood, Stop mudering a legend, and doing it without a AntiHero Worthy of Sharing the screen with the only robot boy who isnt an untermensch. GO TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Apis4 I'M murdering a legend. I AM?! Don't make me laugh. You know what murders a legendary hero like Astro Boy? Ignoring his legacy. Every piece of Astro Boy release had its strengths and flaws. All of them were very human creations by creators who put a lot of pride and love into their work. And when one person who only likes one boring character from the franchise sees that the creators of something new haven't PANDERED 2 himalone and deprives his kid of watching it, THAT'S murders a legend.

  • @laughingwarlock Not you, Hollywood. Sure they had their good and bad points, I just found 83 to be the pinacle. Sorry, my opinion. Let them take pride, you seem convinced the creators would apporve, me I aint so sure. I am sick of them taking something wonderful and sanitising it for MTV pop culture, like they did with the 2003 incarnation of this show, and now this movie. They could have continued the legacy by honouring it. and if you think Atlas is boring, I cant even accept your authority.

  • @Apis4 to judge my position, or this movie. Atlas was probably the most well realised Anti-hero of any film or TV production of the 80s. Sorry, simple fact for me. he is so intricate and nescessary for Astroboy to be Astro Boy, that his absence in ANY of the biggest moments in Astro's life, even if only by Astro feeling the legacy of his havign such a brother, is a fail. anyway fine.. you can reply to yourself after this, I am done arguing, just fucked it for my money, so what, back to my life.

  • @Apis4 I AM FINE WITH THAT OPINION. You can dislike something that doesn't work for you because we don't all like the same things.

My problem was that you ruled off the movie as an "abomination" without having seen it and it was that kind of attitude that contributed to it failing financially even though I don't really think it deserved to. And judging a movies quality based on how good its production was is different than saying something bad because of personal taste.

    Internet debates are fun

  • @Apis4 Hey hey hey. They managed to play homage to the original series preeeety well here. The recreated the 1960's theme song shot from shot, Mustachio was Astro's teacher, his origin story was intact, and they even kept the tradition of his spikes being in the same place every shot. And yes, there was a conflict between father and son and a cameo from Elefunt (you can see him in the trailer!), so that means you didn't even sea the movie. Nice try, but don't judge till you see.

  • he is like robot boy...that cartoon

  • @RISTERMINATOR

astro boy exists before robot boy ... its a real old anime :P

  • @RISTERMINATOR astro boy was around way longer than robotboy ever since th3 50s

  • Trailer could have been better.... but this movie was awesome!

  • nezt they should make sailor moon a animated

  • I´m surprised at the amount of spam that in this video.

  • . . . that was super ugly astro boy is a manga MAKI IT AN ANIME !!!!!!!! IT SHOLD BE JAPANESE ART!!

  • @Cosplaygirlz

but there's already an anime... 3 in fact. One in the 60's (in black and white) other in the 80's (full colour and higher rate frame) and another in 2003/4 (amazing image quality)

And the movie is really faithful to the original in terms of the conflict between Astro and Tenma's relationship and Astro's dilemma to know why was he made.

  • @maiord18 .......dude i just said its ugly and shold be in japanes art manga/anime...... thats al

  • @Cosplaygirlz

I know, and I was saying that it already has a lot of japanese art, let it have some CGI! xD

  • @maiord18 haha oki ^^'

  • @Cosplaygirlz haha oki ^^'

  • koocika sucks ass.

  • Oh!! You won't believe me, but this film made me repeat yes yes yes...I love love love it thousands of times after I watched this! It is made the way better then any action film was. I hope you like it...No, you must like this, you are crazy if you don't, I am serious.. You have to watch this..Visit kookicá

  • astro boy! he's so cute!

  • It makes me so angry that they replace Osamu Tezuka's simply excellent manga and tv series with this crappy film. Everything is new but bad (e.g. the characters). They are just piggybacking on Astro Boy's fame because they know their own film won't be good enough.

  • fail

  • I just finished watching this movie..and I can say I recommend it. It has great plot, and in my opinion, I think it was based on the real story, some parts definitely...it looks like a real life.. Very good. I love k o o k i c a!!!
