  • Can someone tell me just WHAT this has to do with Dido & Aeneas?

  • @MrSwifts31 The director - Deborah Warner - says this prologue doesn't have to do anything with the opera. Probably she just wanted to include her long time work partner Finoa Shaw's gig in this production or to imply the resemblance the fate of Echo and Dido.

    Did Nahum Tate write the Prologue too,or is it a later addition to the score?
