It's so sad to say something about her, I know she will not have many friends because she is deaf. It's sad that many hearing people feel embarrassed or uncomfortable to have deaf people around them. I am deaf, I have to admit that sometime I feel being deaf sucks big time.
can some1 help me find a clip of ashley being interviewed? The interview takes place on a track day (or similar), and they partially sit in a container, with the interpretor standin outside. It was shown yesterday here in swe on TV when she won her second(?), or third x-games gold. i think it was golden that had a pretty bad crash be4 the race, and couldn't compete, so ashley completely whopped every1's ass. sadly, i flipped channel, missed a bit of the interview, and would like to see it again!

Deaf people aren't disabled! Man what's wrong with the society? Don't they realize it? Well Not hearing other bike is'nt a thing to worry about, but just smokin em away is a normal thing. Thats all as long you know how to shift, and reev all day long naturally. Its normal, Its called experience, and confidence... Just let the good time roll!
Being deaf is not that big of a hurdle,lol...it's not like she has no arms,gimme a break.These bikes vibrate..ALOT...shifting wouldnt be hard.Not hearing other bikes is the only drawback i can see.I bet that makes her a bit nervous,it would me.This girl is gorgeous,brave,and has a great attitude.She'd smoke me... i love this woman.
