And for NK, they haven't had new materials since 2008. They have a different tour every year with a different name but no new songs. This is the excellent excuse for them to do the 4th tour (since 08).

Yes, they had a successful come back with sold out 48 arena concerts in US and 15 shows in Europe, but it was in 08. The number of shows have been reduced every year, and they had only summer tour last year with less than 25 shows. This collaboration can create buzz for them to do tour overseas.

You're right abt Brian. I didn't noticed before, not even their last tour This Is Us. He still can sing but his voice is now a little scratchy ( I don't know what word to describe it, but his voice is not the same as before). Nick is def better, less nasal sound :-)

However, ever since Brian got swine flu in October 2009, his voice significantly changed- for the worse. Brian has always had an incredible voice, and I'm sure once he fixes this problem he's had since then, he'll sound like good-old Brian again. AJ's voice got worse because of one- age (his voice changed from tenor to baritone and the solos in the old BSB songs require him to sing higher then in his now natural range) and two- the drugs, alcohol, and smoking.

I have to say something. NKOTB did start the "boyband" - as least in the modern sense we know (some people argue Boybands started with The Beatles & Jackson 5). BSB was modeled after them - look-wise, but with a more R&B (or as they say "Boys II Men-type") sound. Jordan Knight is an amazing vocalist (evident on IBLYF). So is Joey. Donnie sounded better when he was younger. Nick has always been an incredible vocalist (after his voice matured, of course). AJ and Brian were amazing vocalists).
