yes you do get video capture, I showed it in the video but i was in the dark so it really didnt show that much.

ever since this update....my phone keeps freezing after I take a picture....I keep taking it to tmobile and exchanging it....I am on my 5th G1!

nope theres no time limit, it all depends on your sdcard capacity, i have an 8 gig sdcard and i can record up to 29 hours of video

the speaker is pretty good louder then iphone tested that out myself...and it might already come with the firmware installed but if not there are links the info of this vid and a tutorial so yu can check that out

how long does the battery life last  and how can you save it

it lasts longer and yu can save it by callibrating the battery and turnin off things you dont use such as gps

can someone tell me how to fix a tmobile g1 that had firmware on it but it is now locked and doesnt turn on i guess because theres one on ebay i might by and i was wondering if i can fix it?

Does the G1 need to be bought with a data plan? Is there any disadvantage to just paying for the text messages?

there are multiple plans but you can also unlock phone to put it with any other phone carrier. you dont need to buy a data plan for the g1 but you have to because the g1 was made for the internet

cupcake is the name for the new firmware update on the g1 which brings on screen keyboard camcorder and other system tools, i would definitely reccomend the g1 its one of the best phones out
