Well I wasn't talking about the narrator as such but the more sort of "logic" that goes into believing this nonsens. And it seems to me that what they are really saying is the the good ol' "My ignorance makes me free to speculate and you can't prove that it isn't true"-argument..

I've now seen two of these videos and I allready detect a pattern: If there is an area of doubt or ignorance, like the insides of the earth or an impenetrable swamp, someone will invent stories about it. And if you can't disprove the stories in a way I can understand then it PROVES the stories. And if I can't find anything else that proves the stories then it must imply the "They" are keeping it a secret..

@DinMorsPimp He isn't saying this is true...he's just providing the evidence that others suggest. He uses indicator words like "suggests" and "rumored". He's not outright saying the stories are true...Though I have to admit. Some of these are pretty stupid.

@metaempiricist *sigh* as in ancient civilizations left hieroglyphs (pictures or carvings) on walls in dwellings or on pottery depicting dinosaur-like creature non similar to animals that should have been exsistant at the time. Its releveant because according to the accepted paradigm, dinosaurs and human being have never walked the other art the same time.

@metaempiricist "Reports" is a fancy way of saying "Someone says so". It's annoying and meant to make the article sound sophisticated, but it's used in just about everything you see on History and NatGeo. So the people living in the area could be using stories handed down through the generations as 'reports' - ergo, 'pre-history'. Stuff basically gets twisted around to sound more close to facts than stories in shows like these because people are optimistic.
