I can't imagine how great he would sound on a 2 manual with pedalboard. Let me say first hand, going from pipe organ to a Hammond is quiet the shock. It is like going from playing piano to organ. Learned to service play in high school with these songs. Good Stuff
Well I have a pedalboard but it's not like the one of a classic Hammond console. I still have plans to order the Pro XK lower manual w/ stand in January, so the 2 manual action is coming! :-)
Call me ignorant, but what does your left hand keep doing. Every couple of measures your left hand looks like it flips a switch or something, what does this do??? I've only played piano and pipe organ all my life, so I have no clue what that is?
He's playing a keyboard that simulates a B3 Hammond Organ. The switch on his left controls the speed of what's called a Leslie speaker. The speeds are slow and fast. Switching between those 2 sounds is the distict sound of the Hammond Organ and Pentecostal style music. Hope this helps!
Great playing, brother. I mentioned on another song that your style and mine is so similar as to be remarkable. I'm in Houston, TX, transplanted from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Keep 'em coming!
wow!! That was great!

Dude....NICE.
You've heard a little Champlin....some Berger...some Roger Bennett in your time.
I love Roger's version of this -and know when I'm licked. I'd rather work for "it is Well" (Roger's arrangement) and nail it than try this one.
Keep at it. This kicks!

Sweet memories of my families church! That old stuff truly has meaning, and Holy Ghost power. Yes, MORE Lanny, if possible.
Blessings in Jesus' Name,
Tommy
