  • Hey that's the name! We lived King St, Higher Broughton. Like you it was a treat in those days, though it was lemonade and plain crisps :) Lived King St from 1963 to 1974. I recall visiting the pub again once I'd grown up, it had just got a conservatory, imagine my surprise a few months later to see it all gone!

  • The building at approx 51 seconds, was that the pub by the by the Cliff? Looks familiar, a Wilson's House, whose name escapes me ay present!

    The Priory. We used to go there as a family for a special treat back in the 60's on a summer evening. Lovely memories of drinking coke through a straw (only time we were ever allowed it)
