Hey that's the name! We lived King St, Higher Broughton. Like you it was a treat in those days, though it was lemonade and plain crisps :) Lived King St from 1963 to 1974. I recall visiting the pub again once I'd grown up, it had just got a conservatory, imagine my surprise a few months later to see it all gone!
The Priory. We used to go there as a family for a special treat back in the 60's on a summer evening. Lovely memories of drinking coke through a straw (only time we were ever allowed it)
Was that the bottom end of Devonshire Street?

The building at approx 51 seconds, was that the pub by the by the Cliff? Looks familiar, a Wilson's House, whose name escapes me ay present!
