Recently we did the Danzig/Possessed/Marduk/Toxic H/Withered Blackest of the Black Tour. During this month or so on the road it *really* gave me the chance to get my vox back up and running strong again, so for that I am honored and happy (Thanks Glenn!!).With the new line-up we will be doing a LOT more old songs, and we are currently writing some really heavy new stuff too. Hey this is Jeff Becerra of Possessed. Thanks for all those that left your comments!! Also I just wanted to clear something up here. I was NOT shot doing "break and enters"!! I was actually shot on the way home from work when I got robbed by two drug-addicts. So they went to prison and I ended up going to College :) This was my first real gig back after over 20 years so my voice was not as strong as I would have liked. Plus I was *really* sick and almost died shortly after this show.

well i can't disagree that jeff's voice isn't nearly as good as back in 85 and 86 when he was recording albums like seven churches and beyond the gates but i still think he's got a little gas in the tank.
@chiaromontestephen He's missing half a lung on his left side after he was shot in 1989, so yeah his isn't as strong as it was. Plus, he's sitting due to the paralysis from the shooting, which makes it harder to project his voice. All in all, he's got my respect for going out there and doing what he loves to do.
I don't care that it wasn't the original line-up. I don't care that Jeff had lost his voice. Nothing mattered but the fact that i saw the legend perform in the flesh.

Sorry dude, I just call a spade a spade. He's off beat, his voice is cracking, no power, he's just a shit vocalist. Much respect to him for performing in a wheelchair, that's courage and dedication right there. Just not a fan of the voice.

well i can't disagree that jeff's voice isn't nearly as good as back in 85 and 86 when he was recording albums like seven churches and beyond the gates but i still think he's got a little gas in the tank.

@chiaromontestephen He's missing half a lung on his left side after he was shot in 1989, so yeah his isn't as strong as it was. Plus, he's sitting due to the paralysis from the shooting, which makes it harder to project his voice. All in all, he's got my respect for going out there and doing what he loves to do.
