  • The tune begins at 0:39

  • low and tin whistle are tuned the same whit just an octave diffrence?

  • dude thats freaking nice :O

can u wright down the tabs for me please? (A)

  • @gunojh

    Thanks....

Sorry I can't write down the tabs because I don't have any (and wouldn't know how to use them if I did heh). I play by ear. I would suggest just running a google search or something --- though tabs for this type of music can be hard to find. Good luck!

  • @To2ndMars

    ok thx anyway ^^

  • @gunojh u should try to learn notes. really easy to find sheets on the net for irish music

  • nice :) what low whistle are you playing? as in what brand?

  • @TheWhistlingGypsy

Thanks. :-) You've got some great tunes as well.

The low whistle in the vid is a Dixon low D. I think its the best low whistle you can get for under $100 before making the price jump to around $300.

  • @To2ndMars oh u watched my vids?! thanks ha but im planning on deleting most of them this weekend and redoing them because they're shit ha!! Anyway ya it has a really nice tone! The one i have is a cheiftain D low whistle and i suppose its not too bad :)

  • Play with yourself often enough and you'll go blind. ;)

    Very nicely done!

  • Nice song:) Do you guys go to the same tailor or something?

  • We play this for pep-band, and it is beast ^^

Awesome, though I'm seeing double xD

  • Hello (me and me), Please, where to find on Web, the explanations to manufacture this double video ? * * * * * from central France,

    A + Claude.

  • 5 Stars from me!!

  • this is the music uses in TITANIC movie when jack and rose went to the 3rd class party, it's was a very beautiful scene

  • Why does this guy remind me of Kryton from Red Dwarf?

  • how come you guys didn't shake hands when you finished???

    haha, just kidding. awesome performance

  • haha, lovely!! wonderful split screen effect! did you listen to the earlier recording while you played the second one? cos you have great timing :-)

  • I can play this on the violin

    Beautifull delicious^^

  • Wow Someone actually listened to the the tuning police. Now that's what I call special. And you actually did a nice job in correcting the tuning. Regards and koodus for your efforts.

What else are you working on?

  • That was great! You guys obviously have the same silly Irish sense of humor that I have! Thanks for the laughs.

  • Neat trick. Good ryhthm. You need encouragement to keep trying. I hope you won't mind me saying that the B part is way out of tune. Could it be your low whistle?

  • You are quite right. My low whistle is terribly out of tune. It is tuneable, but when the tuner is slid all the way in, its rather off (it is suppose to be right - my high D Dixon is about right). So, since I am pretty sure I recorded the low whistle first, there sadly wasn't much I could do about it when I recorded the high D section. But such it is I suppose - I just try to remember by Low D is off by default and tune accordingly.

  • Keep up the good work. The world NEEDS more people like you who think outside the box. Your soo far out there, do you even see a box??

  • I would think that pausing and breathing in the same spot is a bad thing. While ITM certainly isn't classical music, when you play in a band one of the 'rules' is that you never take a breath if the person next to you is. I think it applies here too.

  • yay!

  • Love it, plus you did the 'two' of you very well.

  • haha u guys are funny!

    u rock! well done

  • Haha, LOVE this.. its brilliant,, i find it interesting that you and... yourself :| You both nod your head at the same time... lol Very gud :D welldone

  • LOL This is great!! I love the Blarney Pilgrim

  • well as an irishman who has been playin trad for all my life in west Cork and one who plays both high and low whistle i honestly say....Well Done! excellent playing. loved it :)

  • i'm thinking about buying a susato high d whistle but not sure. i love your editing. how did you exactly know when to start on both recordings?

  • Great tune! Nice job on the split screen... This is a version of Blarney Pilgrim I haven't heard too often... other than Michael Card on one of his albums

  • you should high five yourself at the end........ yes... good stuff, loved it!

  • Now that's just awesome!

  • Thank you. :-)

  • Great Music! Blarney pilgrim has been one of my fav irish tunes. Is that your twin bro by the way?

  • Thanks! Actually that was filmed split screen - so both the people are me. Of course, that made the playing pretty easy for there is very little vareation between myself and....myself.
