In the high speed, i love the fact that if you look closely, you can see the shockwave sloooooowly emerge from the initial flash point. That usually happens so fast its barely visible.

@YoNiQe Its a high speed slow motion camera replay. The reason it probably seems different and cgi is in a high speed camera you see in a split second what the human eye can never see. In fact the bright spark at the top of the screen at the beginning in that shot probably happens in a millionth of a second.

So they'll test "crap" like this, and not the most significant historic moment in US history since Pearl Harbour. I am no longer a fan, and I refuse to watch their show. Heres one for them to test... This was the biggest explosion in mythbusters history. The debris cloud in the 800lbs cement truck (Alcatraz escape episode), and the 500lbs train-station (22,000 foot fall episode) explosions may have been bigger, but the force of the blast in this explosion (Bannanna slip, double dip episode) was much greater than the force of those.
