• I am a two time cancer survivor of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and so I know what it is to lose weight and become as you described. It's not a pleasant feeling... Either way, I just want to say that I am glad, at least, that he is not suffering now. I am also glad to see your more recent videos, see you smile and laugh. Everyone should listen to your words, because life CAN change at the drop of a hat. We should all try to spread love, not hate. Who knows? Tomorrow, it could all be over. -Alan

  • That was really quick.

    Must have been hard.

  • oldy but a goodie :D

  • Terry thank you for inviting us into your life, through the years we have all been watching you here on youtube and for me personally, you have made a big impact on my life and thank you for being a friend, and thank you so much for all you do for us. thank you. -with peace and love, Ryan.

  • This was really touching. I'm sorry for your loss. My partner and I have been together for 17 years. I can't imagine my life without him. You are such a brave man. More so than I think I could be. Your videos are amazing....so much so that I decided to go back and watch them from the beginning and I came across this one. So heart felt.....so touching....I just can't stop crying. Partly for the thought of losing my bf, but for your loss as well. I'm glad to see you smiling now. Takecare

  • I know this isn't even that bad, but yeah;

3 years ago I was reunited with my dad's side of the family at my cousin's party. My aunt was sitting on the porch and she wanted to talk to me and stuff, like catch up or whatever, and I said that i wasn't in the mood and I'd talk later. I leave and go hang out with people and my mom said we have to leave early. We go home and make plans to go back to their house the next weekend but that week my Aunt died. I regret not talking with her every day<3

  • my mother was diagnosed with multiple myloma.cancer of the bone marrow. it fucks up your immune system, similar to the aids virus..she lived about 11 months before she sudden callapsed into a coma. she was my everything. three years and it still feels like yesterday. its true what you said. theres just never enough time to say good bye.sometimes, the human body just cant take the stress.

  • It's so sad but ture. Sorry it had to happen to you zipster.

  • you have a beautiful soul.

  • ;___;

  • Zipster, you seem like an amazing person.

I'm sure Tim would be really proud of you.

As everyone has said, I'm very sorry for your loss and you are definately an inspiration to all of us. My granddad is currently dying of cancer, it's really hard to see him go from a normal guy to a skeleton of his former self. Love and luck for the future Zipster. :)

  • At least Gary and I made a deal to be the best we could to everyone....we didn't know he was gonna die 12 hours later!

  • the saddest part was at the end of the video. im sorry for your loss

  • I'm an orphan... I know how it is. I lost my father to cancer and my mother and my brother died in a car accident,...

  • Hang in there!!

  • This was 10 years ago. It's true what they say. Time heals all wounds. But all wounds leave scars...

  • Amen to that.

  • Zipster, I just started watching your videos... I'd seen you around youtube, with your popular videos, you know, but I'd never actually watched any until today.

This one, being one of the few that I've watched so far, really hit me hard, because I know it's true. I'm only a teenager, yeah, but... I understand what you mean. It's things like this video that remind me to tell my friends that I love them.

  • Hey, sorry Zipster. Cancer is almost as hard on the one's left behind as the victims. I lost my best friend of over 30 years last year. We were college roomies & whenever one or the other broke up with our ladies we ended up rooming again. He always told me I was his big brother.

  • He died in Wyoming 3 weeks after getting married & when I heard I immediately drove from Flagstaff to get his ashes & his widow's first words to me were"He said you'd be here for his ashes". Guess he knew me pretty well. At least I knew he was dying. The docs gave him 3 years & he made it for 8. We did a lot of talking in that time.....

  • Be well; my thoughts are with you.

  • you are so right ((terry)) ...love you!

    your sweet potata...*tori*

  • Your right. I had a fight with my dad today, and I think I'm going to go and say sorry. Thanks Zipster your my inspiration!

  • Hope it all works out for you!!

  • You are a wonderful person Terry, cancer is a horrible thing to go through,Im amazed how strong you are with all you have gone through over the past few years!

Your an insperation for us all!!!

  • My grandpa and grandma both died from the same thing about 10 years ago. My grandma's death was probably about 2 years later from my grandpa's but they figure they got the cancer from when they worked on their house a long time ago.

  • HUGS

  • So heartfelt, thanks so much for posting this, it's so easy to get caught up in the silly unimportant stuff of life and waste the time we have to spend together! I left my job last year to care for my 97yr old mum, so she could stay in her own home. We're still together are so grateful we had this time to spend with each other and just digging each day for what it is! You said it all Zips, love ya mate!

  • RIP Tim

  • WOW, I can tell you REALLY miss him still! If I were there with you I would SOOOO give you a hug right now... Everyone can use a hug once in a while. (c:

  • That's for sure!!

  • zip, i love you ,youre not afraid to cry or show ur feelings ,u are such a wonderful person,im telling you i laugh with u & i cry with u ,i wish i truly knew you it would be an honor for me if i ever met you. i look forward to all ur vids evryday i get up to see if a new one is posted now im gonna start at 1 & work my way up trisha

  • You really made me cry.

I think this message is the most important one ever been provided on YouTube.

But people who have not been through this experience may never feel it that deeply.

  • 6 weeks, thats unbelievable. I hope you have better days in the future. :>

  • Love you for saying that. From the heart. :O)

  • my father died from cancer almost 25 years ago I was 13 it wasn't enough time with him I miss him every day.

  • Looking back is hard sometimes. But I am learning from the brave souls here. You have become such a sharing and caring person here. Thanks for keeping your older videos up here. This site has changed my life. And it's all good!

  • Oh man Zippy. I didn't even think to look at your older videos, but I went through a good number of them and found this. I'm a very emotional person so now I'm into tears, but they are happy tears. Tears of feeling love from you and for you in your direction to encourage people to love people. Thank you.

  • OMG zip, I'm so sorry for your loss. Its horrible when something like that happens to anyone. I really feel for you.

  • Very emotional message. I lost my grandma (best friend) to cancer. Your so right, the end just creeps up so fast. She was always so healthy and then .... :(

  • This video makes me feel very existential. Thanks for sharing your emotions and feelings with us. Keep livin' Zip.

  • Im sorry to hear that:(. But i know how you feel. I lost my grandfather in "01" to the same type of cancer.

  • Zipster - wishing you only good things

  • Nice. I called my 78 year old aunt to say hello after I saw that! - Alfred.

  • Thanks man i aprecaite it =)

  • I appreciate your vulnerability, a beautiful message.

  • Hi Zipster. I just found you today, and I think you're fabulous! Love you! This video was so touching, and I completely understand the value in what you said. I lost my dad in February, and it is still so hard. My birthday was the 9th (day after you), and that's got my emotions up in a huge swell right now. I needed to see this right now. Thank you.

  • I meant to include (though it wouldn't have fit, anyway) that my dad died of a sudden, massive, heart attack(he'd had a PERFECT check up with his Cardiologist in January). We had no clue, none. I think about the last time I talked to him, about seeing him in a couple of days, and a couple of days later, I saw him again, but he was dead. It breaks my heart.

  • DZLZRD...et al. I'm glad it helped! It will get easier, I promise you!!

  • A beautiful message.

  • Thanks, baby!!

  • I'm sorry, but I found a little irony in the fact that while you were saying to live every moment to the ultimate, you were smoking. (just in a funny kind of way)

Seriously though, I really feel for you... I'm gonna try to do what you said.

  • thanks zip. Thats what life i all about love and be loved. take care buddy x

  • That really is one of the most beautiful things I've heard. It was said from the heart, and every now and again it seems I'm sent a message to remind me how precious life is.

I've not been commenting as much as usual, Zip. Things are a bit hectic here, but I'm still watching the videos. Keep it up, buddy.

  • Some people just don't know how SHORT the time is with your loved ones. ((Zip)) TY 4 stepping up (( Norna))

  • Seeing that you were not able to give us a good one at the end of this video (for understandable reasons), let me do it for you... THANK YOU!!!

  • Thanks! You're sweet.

  • Your Right On The Money!
