well you may be confused because early Wendy was called the "Queen of Punk" and later the "High Priestess of Metal". But one of the things Wendy and the Plasmatics did was fuse punk and metal way ahead of its time, best of both. This is from the Kommander of Kaos album when Wendy was well into her cutting edge Metal phase with speed of punk too, but this song, guitar leads and musicianship is way beyond the rudiments of punk. So to me this is just very cutting edge metal. Them's my two cents.
