If they drop a burger, they pick it up and put it in the bun, they eat out of the pans that are for the customers. I would not eat in any restaurant that would not let me see their kitchens.

The waiter later used a fork to mash a human turd up into the woman's ice-cream desert. Charges were laid, the waiter was sacked and fined heavily and the incident dominated the media for about a week.
Moral to the story: Be rude to waiters at your own peril.
If you eat at McDonald's several times a week JR you don't get to judge the "going out to eat" experience. You have ruled yourself out of that particular ability.

It would be in poor taste (no pun intended) for a restraurant to send out a soup that is not hot, however I would rather go to a restaurant where the food is prepared fresh, with no microwaves at all.
None of those things are really that bad. When I eat out my basic rule is no matter how much something gets fucked up I am always super nice to my server. If I ever have to ask for something to be taken back to the kitchen I always do it as kindly as possible and apologize for being a bother. Don't fuck with the person that controls your food.
I worked in a restaurant for 2 1/2 years. There were standards, but even so some inappropriate things happened. Life food fights (initiated by managers and/or cooks). Crazy shit. Had too many friends that worked in kitchens and at restaurants. After hearing the stories, it's difficult to look at a plate of food that I didn't prepare myself, and trust it. We had a Taco Bell here in Dayton, Ohio shut down because the employees were shitting and putting it in the beans and serving it. I use to love tacos from there until I found that out. How could someone else? I have taken a fry or two off someone's plate I was serving but, that is the extent of my sabotage.

A lot of the mom and pop restaurants are like that- I have no clue why, but I've seen it. Some restaurants are actually clean. It really depends on the people running the restaurants and the people who work there.
Since 2007, even after going to BurgerKing drive through, I check under the buns for any "special sauce" before I take a bite out of it, learned it from my friend. 30+ year olds working minimum wage, overnight are some of the most miserable people in the country, I dont blindly trust them with shit.
Another thing, dont you think older waiters feel resentment towards 18 year olds ordering $20 side dishes at those restaurants, while they earn pennies, food tampering will undoubtedly follow.

It would be in poor taste (no pun intended) for a restraurant to send out a soup that is not hot, however I would rather go to a restaurant where the food is prepared fresh, with no microwaves at all.

None of those things are really that bad. When I eat out my basic rule is no matter how much something gets fucked up I am always super nice to my server. If I ever have to ask for something to be taken back to the kitchen I always do it as kindly as possible and apologize for being a bother. Don't fuck with the person that controls your food.

I worked in a restaurant for 2 1/2 years. There were standards, but even so some inappropriate things happened. Life food fights (initiated by managers and/or cooks). Crazy shit. You know it's gonna be a long day if you get hit in the back of the head with a pancake right in front of the guest entrance.

Actually, my family and I generally don't share our food, so I found that first one pretty gross. Plus, ingesting other people's saliva is generally not a good idea.

I'm not defending them, but I worked at McDonalds for almost a year and there were many times I wanted to put poison in the food. A lot of the people that go to restaurants have some superiority complex thinking that they can treat employees like shit. Not defending the waiters, but some people really deserve to be fucked with.

Had too many friends that worked in kitchens and at restaurants. After hearing the stories, it's difficult to look at a plate of food that I didn't prepare myself, and trust it. Maybe the waiter doesn't like your fucking t-shirt. Maybe someone with mega germs sneezes over your food, accidentally, without even thinking about it. You never know. Also, with the amount of nasty motherfuckers that have oral herpes, all they have to do is spit in your food and congrats, it's yours forever. >:|

Gotta go with Jayar on this one, for two reasons. One, I totally get and also hate the process thing. You gotta wait for the waiter (WHAT A FUCKING MISNOMER) to leave and come back fifty times every time you want something; if I go out to eat I prefer buffet because then everything happens when I fucking want it to. Two, I assume my food is sabotaged seven times out of ten, because, to be honest, that's what I'd do.

We had a Taco Bell here in Dayton, Ohio shut down because the employees were shitting and putting it in the beans and serving it. I use to love tacos from there until I found that out. And I've been to the taco bell many times. Makes me sick to think people can do something like that. When in college I worked as a server/bar tender and would never do something like that! How could someone else? I have taken a fry or two off someone's plate I was serving but, that is the extent of my sabotage.

A lot of the mom and pop restaurants are like that- I have no clue why, but I've seen it. Some restaurants are actually clean. It really depends on the people running the restaurants and the people who work there.

Since 2007, even after going to BurgerKing drive through, I check under the buns for any "special sauce" before I take a bite out of it, learned it from my friend. 30+ year olds working minimum wage, overnight are some of the most miserable people in the country, I dont blindly trust them with shit.
Another thing, dont you think older waiters feel resentment towards 18 year olds ordering $20 side dishes at those restaurants, while they earn pennies, food tampering will undoubtedly follow.
