Wow, they tried to use as many sailing terms as possible in few scenes, and didn't use a single one correctly!

Someone yells "We need to tack out of this" While they all have their spinnakers up.

He says "they lost their jib" and the camera pans back to show a flapping spinnaker

She says "watch with the teabagging" while the boat is upright in mid gybe

Yells "turtle" when the boat's mast is still lying flat on the water.

It's not enough to yell random words, they do actually mean something.

Actually they did quite well with the terms, They lost thier jib showd Both the jib and the kite flapping, heading out on the wire is exactly when you "watch the teabagging" and I didn't hear the other two you mentioned. Anyway, this is by far the most accurate sailing movie out there, when I was racing all the time we used to watch this at regatta parties while drinking excessively.

For those who know a bit I-14's are smoking boats, but if you want a real thrill NOTHING matches a catamaran!

yes they sprout some shit in the movie in the termology, but some of it was coorect!!

I used to sail a INT 14 a few years ago it was some of the most exciting sailing I've ever done !! I now race a RS 600 !! born to be an adrenaline jukie !
