Thanks this worked and by the way I have all of the expansion packs for sims 2 and the cost was less than 15 aus dollars cause I bought my expansion packs in the Philippines my mum comes from there so I got a bargain :)

Its hard to find the sims 2 now( at least where i live) but i got the sims 2 double deluxe(sims 2 nightlife,the sims 2,the sims2 celebration stuff) at walmart for about $20-$30

@WatchNoEvil Yes it can park in there. If it has the drive way, no matter what, you can place a car or motorcycle (motorcycle is a mod)

when i get to the step where you have to level the foundation (right after the ctrl+z thing) why is it that in my sims it levels not only the foundation itself but pulls the edges of the lowered ground (where the garage floor is) back up?

@missXtaC Unfortunately not. I tried, but you can't get the slope close enough to the foundation to get the driveway and extension connected. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but it didn't work for me.
