  • Total Nonsense

  • hahahahah gammon

  • @Gooridooki haha, idk if everyone's gonna know what gammon means :p

  • It's a hoax people. Yes, the stone carvings, glyphs, exist, but they are in no way Egyptian.

Government is not choosing to ignore them as it has been conclusively proven by NSWNPWS that the carvings are 100 years old maximum.

  • hehe his name is mutley wtf?

  • Pictures taken in 1983/1984 by the NPWS show the fresh cut rock and the spalling around the edges of the engravings indicating very recent carving.

  • Mr David Lambert is an expert in rock art and in 2001 was the Rock Art Conservator of the Cultural Heritage Division of the NPWS. In 1983 he visited the site and saw the engravings freshly cut into the rock. The inside of each carving consisted of clean white sandstone with no evidence of organic or surface lichen growth, indicating the carvings were less than 12 months old.

  • Alan Dash, a surveyor with the Gosford City Council between 1968 and 1993, first noticed the carvings about 1975. Thoroughly familiar with the area, he revisited the site several times over the next 5 years, each time observing that more and more carvings appeared on the rock face. He considered the engravings the work of an irresponsible vandal.

  • could he speak an slower?

  • Australia is like New Zealand and North America, their TRUE histories are yet to be told. This type of thing is found in several areas around the world outside of Egypt. Global diffusion and world travel were realities in very ancient times. Thor Heyerdhal proved it didn't take much to sail the oceans, he even built one boat from reeds that only grow in Egypt and a couple of other places. We should not expect evidence like that to preserve being made out of reeds, but the glyphs preserve.

  • i believe that its possible

  • Travelling Eastwards from Egypt would of been far easier!

  • How do we know this isn't faked? did the Ancient Aboriginies say anything about the Ancient Egyptians in their writings? Any books I could buy or videos I could watch to learn about Australia before the 1770s?

  • @PhilipK100 they didn't have writings...

  • @PhilipK100 unfortunately the ancient aboriginals didn't have any form or writing. Their 'histories' were passed down by a purely oral tradition, and as such we know very little about Australia prior to modern European 'discovery' and settlement.

  • archaic egyptian heiroglyphs

  • decent video. If anyone is interested thre are other carvings in Australia as well. search crystal links in a search engine for more info

  • how could they not travel the world?!?!?! they built friggin great pyramids!!! im sure building a boats wouldnt bother them..remember these guys possibly invented the light bulb or electricity according to one of there glphs...and why the hell did king tut have 2 boomerangs in his tomb??

  • Go fuk urself mofo and i can tell you there is a lot of Strength in that saying stupid slagggggggg.....

  • What, "masters of the ocean"? From what we know, Egyptians were pretty lousy sailors. They were lucky to have steady north wind on the Nile, so they could travel in both directions without any great skill. But on the open sea, they were hopeless. They didn't dare to sail off the coast, and when they were confronted with the Roman navy, they stood no chance. Egyptians went as far as to hire Phoenicians for more demanding maritime missions.

  • ok, cheers mate. thank you for your reply. shall take it onboard. have a great 2010.

  • i do apologize for making any judgement...but you again prove me (possibly) correct.. coz your reply, again was hostile...what i most want to apologize for is that my statements about the origin of the pyramids offended you. i am interested to know what you base your statement (that they were built 3,000 years ago) on, sir.

  • if you can help me out with good solid info...I'd be happy to believe that they were built 3k years ago. Can you also tell me what they were built for? because there were NOT tombs for the pharaos...that's for sure...so what were the pyramids designed for? Please tell me, if you don't mind giving just a little more of your time. Thank you.

  • yeah, u agree...these hieros are fake. not done by Egyptians. But remember that the ancients were connected by the Gondwana land land mass...they did not need to croos oceans. There are Egyptian artifacts in Sth America, and Mayan artifacts in Egypt....the 2 are definitely connected.

  • drop the anger routine, Coptic...it's really ugly and silly. i respect you as an individual, but I recognize you as acting from your inner (spiteful) child...so let's grow up as a human race, and create a better world around us, by the way we behave and the language we use to each other. In the words of Spok....LIVE LONG AND PROSPER, Coptic.

  • Hey there CopticSOLJA. what's with all the swearing and cussing? What caused you to call me a dickhead? Why are you so angry? Are you not mature enough to reply without all that anger? How are we EVER going to evolve as a human race with all that hostility inside of you?? If you read my words, you will see that I never said the pyramyds were built by Arabs. They were built over 10,000 years ago by the KHEMITIAN people.

  • It takes waaaay more inner strength and power to behave like a grown man, a gentleman...than it does to call people dickhead and use words like "fuckin". Any child with no self control can behave like that, Coptic.....so are you an adult? a gentleman? or do you not have that strength? are you all about anger and hostility? peace on earth MUST start in our individual hearts and minds. if we as individuals cannot communicate peacefully, what chance does the planet have??

  • by the way, you do know that all this egyptian presence in australia is the biggest amount of bullshit, for so many reasons i am not even bothered to go into.

it was probably some april fools day tv prank.

  • i dont think so Giant skeletons have been found in Australia too along with tools and weaponry half size of vehicle car. they found many other things too.

  • If anyone wants to know more about this, check out rexgilroy. com he has found thousands of bits of Egypto-Phoenician /Celto-Phoenician carvings, runes and even pyramids! all in Australia dating back up to 50000 years ago!

  • The egyptians arrived later...they must have thought all those giant structures were pretty amazing...and set up camp there,,,now the world thinks the egyptians built the pyramids....

  • haha good one... i didnt know we had this many losers in the world today... i love how you and many black people try to prove what scientists havent... yeh that is a good one, al khem, hahaha

  • Yea I know, they where built in 2035 but we put them in a time machine and took them back.

    Lol.

  • That's just retarded

    LOL

  • i think the translation was a bit off after researching this a bit more,as in there are a couple of different styles of glifs used.Very interesting all the same and somrhing I would love to see for myself.

  • You can't get to them if you're a member of the public; the site's exact location in classified. I've been there and I can tell you it's simply amazing. Very eerie presence can be felt as soon as you enter it.

  • this is very interesting, its my first time ever to see an evidence of Egyptians in a far region like Australia. It seems that Australian gov is handling it in a proffessional manner.

  • We Egyptians are the Master race... MASRAWWYYY

  • Sorry, MAYANS hehehehehe

  • Sorry Masrawy...it was the people BEFORE the Egyptians who were the 'amazing" race...they are called Khemitians. Today, Arabic people still refer to Egypt as "Al Khem"...and that's where we get "ALCHEMY" from too. The Khemitian people built the pyramids and sphynx over 10,000 years ago.

  • bloody egyptians....hehehe

  • lol

  • how do you get to them

  • Apparently there were pyramids in Australia. There was one at Gympie in Queensland, which a lot of people knew about. Also the egyptians used eucalyptus oil in their embalming. I really don't doubt the abilities of the egyptians at all.

  • What is this, trivia night : )

  • you made the carvings yourself ?

  • woulda, coulda shoulda, are not proof all you have is theory and speculation snd tons of wishful thinkings dont give up your day job .go learn abo8t

  • i read that they were a hoax..which sucks..but after studying egypt in high school and reading a few books, i reackon they could of came to australia, its nice to think that they could of made it here, on a website they have the translations of the hieroglyphics

  • Jackie Jackie robbed the grave and flogged everything for a pack of durrees a goon bag and some petrol.

  • What was the name of the King? There are several cartouches there what are their names?

Funny how after all the research you did on the Papyrus boat you couldn't be bothered to translate a couple of very famous Pharaohs cartouches???

  • You spelt Archeologist wrong in the Titles!

  • At 06:00, the bird shape appears to be carved directly into the lichen. Also, something about the size and the very basic nature of the figures looks unauthentic.

  • This is most likely fake.

  • great video and great work making a record of this site!

  • I have been there now to this site several times and still find it very interesting. I don;t real out that it could be a hoax, although there is approx 300 carving. What idiot would do this? and why? The other thing the carvings are well protected in the chasim effect of the walls so would reduce the effect of erosion from rain and wind.

Beats me, but does make an interesting topic.

  • @shanebarlow SOUNDS LIKE CLIFF CLAVEN FROM CHEERS

  • @shanebarlow are clear images of these engravings available to access?

  • @shanebarlow where did u go to find that somewhere near nimbin?

  • Have any of these been accurately dated? From the vid, they could be as recent as a few tens of years, because sandstone is just so friable and easily degraded, especially near the coast. There was a popular movement of Orientalism etc in the early C20th, see the sphinx in northern Sydney.Maybe they are associated with that?

  • what about the aboriginese or whatever? i know how to say it, just not how to spell it haha

  • or aboriginals. i dunno. this is interesting, though.

  • do you have the rest of this.

  • Aaparently three guys have found ancent crumbling buildings. Aboriginal's in places close by speak of tall white people living there 1000's of years ago.

  • All the images are from this site just out of Sydney Australia

  • mmmmmh..really interesting. Are the best images of this site in australia.

    thanx

  • I thought this video was interesting, but after reading more into it, I have my doubts. But its possible.

  • The vid is rule, the info of Egyptians being worthy seaman is true, the carvings are rule.

The carvings are in the Hunter Region (NSW), I have visited this site several times showing people, they all walk away with a different view.

I don't believe in this either, but no one has actually has proven the carvings not to be of Ancient Egyptian and like the doco says, if they are true, the history books need to be re-written.

Maybe that is why the Government chooses to ignore there existance.

  • @shanebarlow The invasion of Iraq wasn't necessarily about Saddam Hussein and WMD's either. Many Governments want lots of history hidden. The Inquisition is well and truly still alive.
