  • excelent music.....awesome....we play good music too...BULLETS.....

    check it out....tag=bulletsconce.........bullets medley....

  • Billy Cobham is my hero :-)

  • Billy is my hero...and I am guitar player

  • 5* upload - thanx! Billy Cobham's breaks are still incredible. He seemed to be struggling with the groove of this song in the first few bars though (bassdrums). Probably because they didn't rehearse properly and just jammed or maybe simply because of the bad monitoring that evening. Before he switched to the bassguitar permanently Mark King used to play drums in an era that was pretty much dominated by Billy Cobham and his Spectrum album so for him this must certainly be the highest honor!

  • what did Cobham mean by "you don't know what we just went through...it was a war up here" poor monitoring or something?? he seems to be rushing here, which is not like Cobham, gotta to be an issue with the sound on stage.

  • The Chinese Way,

    Who knows what they know

    The Chinese danger grows...

And the list of unemployed throughout Europe and the Americas...as all our jobs go to the Chinese!

But still a great song and this great rendition!

  • @adkpeakboy China makes goods for less, the west outsources to them for less and consumers in the west pay less for their goods. Meanwhile the Chinese and African workforces are exploited along with the environment.

The unemployed in Europe and America are just the tip of the iceberg!

  • This sounds a lot like Crash Man from Mega Man 2, well at least the beginning.

  • Es ist und bleibt die beste Band der Welt!

  • i can't believe how good mark is at just picking up a bass and playing a solo right of the top of his head. and the chinese way is a brill song. LONG LIVE LEVEL 42!!!!

  • What an awesome session with Cobham!! MK still got his voice after all this years. Thanks so much for sharing. Legends!

  • Awesome ,the stretching out on everyones part was great.Playing with someone of the caliber of BC is the greatest motivation there is ,magical.

  • I heard MK recently in an interview stating that this concert was one of the highlights of his career, the fact that he got to play on stage with Billy Cobham, his all time drumming hero. It must be pretty amazing to fulfill one of your childhood dreams like this. YOUR HERO on stage in YOUR BAND playing YOUR SONGS......fantastic!!!

  • AWESOME UNBELIEVBLE

  • What a beatufil combination, some great jams. I like the way it fades out with drums singing and clapping

  • This basically shows how good Gary Husband is

  • You mean Phil Gould ;)

  • Oh boy, here we go now.

  • its a joke!

  • I think it looks like they're having a great time up there. Both Phil and Gary owe A LOT to the way Cobham plays and play many "cobham-isms". There is a good energy up there and THATS what matters.

  • The guitarist is kind of "busy" at 1:56...!

  • in American rap music that is actually a form of sign language containing a paragraph worth of information

  • no and billy doent usually play with them anyways .. it was a 'one off' after all .. but i dont see mark upset here !!!! They re all plugging along with some technical probs like a PRO does after all!!!! I love it :-)

  • did gary husband leave level 42 for cobham? THAT CAN'T BE TRUE. i'f cobham only plays along with this song, then i can continue to live...

  • Nooooooo ... that was just a 'one off' ... Mark had to find someone to 'fill in ' and since because Gary was Touring with John McLoughlan .. Mark thought why not try to get Billy to play with them ... sort of seems fair right ;) ???

  • Cobham just doesn't fit in with Level 42......I'm sorry....Cobham wrecks their songs....I don't know how they hold it together with him. Mark King seems a slight disgusted. I'd love to see Phil Gould back up there on drums.....I mean like what's Phil been doing all this time?

  • Why would Mark be upset by Cobham playing with them? That is nonsense. Cobham was Level 42's HERO. Did you know that? It was an extreme honor for them, and if I heard that Phil was in the audience for this performance I wouldn't be surprised one bit.

  • Yes.....I was already that Cobham was a hero of L42.

  • "I thought that went rather well!" That is soo funny, I'm glad MK could see it like that. Even with the mistakes, I loved this gig!!

  • Matt Bianco played before Level 42.

The technicians couldn't stop the whisteling

of the microphones during their concert somehow. Therefore Level 42 started a half hour later just to get the sound right. And yes, I believe it was in the beginning of

Lessons in Love when Mark had a time

difference with the sound. It didn't upset

him at all. Cause Mark knows: making mistakes

is a part of lifes imperfections...We're only

    human after all!

    had a
