At first he can only use it for 30 seconds or something like that, but he masters it almost when fighting Grimjows released form. But gets owned against Ulquora release.

The whole reason he had that mask in the first place was because he wasnt hollowfieng properly and therefor his mask wasnt the way its suppost to be therefor he is even more powerfull if you read when he learns the right way to hollowfy thats when his mask has horns

Naruto is hardly "complex" although Bleach is hardly simple if you really live into it.

Naruto got boring for me before even the English translated finished coming out however, vs Bleach which actually got me to hit "da tube" for dubbed/subbed.

Naruto is now obsessed over by 14 year olds and being nearly double that age I have not looked back, Bleach has a higher fan base of around 20, so I guess you could blame it on Target Consumer instead of action/storyline.
